Chapter 248: The Money Is Safe

Qiao Sang returned to her room, turned on the computer, and began typing up a training plan for the next month.

If her goal was the national high school Beast Taming League's Gao San division championship, the current training progress was far from enough.

Her opponents would be members of school teams from across the country in the Gao San division, and their real combat experience was certainly far greater than her own.

A pet beast's combat strength depended on the level of its basic attributes and its mastery of skills.

With the golden finger, she didn't need to worry too much about skill proficiency.

Honestly, the golden finger could greatly shorten the gap between her and older beast tamers.

That was also why Qiao Sang had the confidence to aim for the national Gao San division championship.

But the national scope was simply too vast, and no one could say for sure whether some monstrous talent might appear.

To be safe, revising the training plan was essential.

The first pet Qiao Sang thought of was Ya Bao.

Ya Bao was undoubtedly the strongest attacker among her three pet beasts, with the best basic attributes. At Sacred Water Middle School it was more than impressive, but looking at high schools across the country, Qiao Sang wasn't so sure.

After all, Sacred Water Middle School had never even taken first place in the province, let alone a regional tournament.

"Looks like Ya Bao's skills will have to be trained selectively..."

Qiao Sang's fingers clattered away on the keyboard.

With limited time and Ya Bao's energy, skills had to be trained selectively.

Mars Rain, as Ya Bao's highest-attack skill, absolutely had to be trained.

Once Blazing Charge reached Mastery, she could start working on it.

The reason Ya Bao had been able to master skills like Spark and Fire Fang so quickly was that Shadow Clone had played a fundamental role.

But Mars Rain was different from Spark and Fire Fang.

Mars Rain was a high-tier skill, so its energy consumption was bound to be like an old car guzzling gas—drained in no time.

Adding Shadow Clone on top of that would be even more outrageous; it would probably be exhausted after just a few minutes of practice.

Lu Lu Lu's Healing Light could only restore conditions like injuries; it had no effect whatsoever on energy recovery.

Looks like she'd have to buy a case of energy recovery liquid to keep on hand...

Thinking of this, Qiao Sang picked up her phone and checked her balance.

Not bad, she could still afford it.

Qiao Sang put down her phone and continued构思 her training plan.

She'd also need to find a new training ground.

If Ya Bao only released Mars Rain with its main body, the yard's size would be fine, but if Shadow Clone was used to practice together, the house would probably be gone entirely.

As for Little Treasure Hunter Ghost, the training direction would remain unchanged for now—still aiming for evolution.

Judging by the current proficiency of Hypnosis, it would definitely evolve before the sports meet; the specific training direction could wait until after it evolved.

And finally, there was Lu Lu Lu...

Whenever Qiao Sang thought of Lu Lu Lu's situation, one word came to mind—miserable.

If Lu Lu Lu was only seven months old and already had so many skills, its talent was naturally not bad.

Talent aside, without the golden finger's boost, managing to train the super-tier skill Healing Light to Perfection was truly extraordinary.

Mastering a super-tier skill to Perfection in seven months was absolutely not the same as doing it in seven years.

Anyone could guess that it had definitely been using this skill every single day since it was little.

And Healing Light was basically only used when injured.

Just thinking about it told you how miserable Lu Lu Lu's life had been before...

But such a miserable creature had actually been forced to cultivate the "Heartless Dao."

Qiao Sang sighed and began typing again.

Miserable or not, training still had to happen.

Since Lu Lu Lu's Healing Light had already reached Perfection, there was a real chance to get it to Mastery before evolution.

As for basic attributes—stamina, body strength, speed, explosive power, and so on—all needed some training.

As for evolution...

Qiao Sang had checked Lu Lu Lu's level points that morning: an increase of 3 points per day. At this rate, even without manually adding points, it could evolve in 13 days.

She had to make Lu Lu Lu experience heartbreak before then...

Qiao Sang specifically bolded the number 13.

"Lu Lu Lu."

Just as Qiao Sang was bolding the font, Lu Lu Lu's voice sounded beside her.

Qiao Sang got a fright, turned her head, and saw Lu Lu Lu staring at the computer—her hand instantly trembled.

"You... can you read?" Qiao Sang asked in a trembling voice.

"Lu Lu Lu."

Lu Lu Lu shook its head.

Then I'm relieved... Qiao Sang breathed a sigh of relief internally and asked, "Did you need something?"

"Lu Lu Lu!"

Lu Lu Lu pointed toward the yard, looking excited.

Ya Bao's current skill practice looked really cool—it wanted to be like that too!

Qiao Sang laughed and said, "Ya Bao is practicing Blazing Charge. Haven't you already learned Water Jet?"

"Lu Lu Lu."

Lu Lu Lu shook its head, then sprayed a small jet of water upward from its head; the water scattered down like a showerhead.

Qiao Sang was stunned for a moment, her voice suddenly rising: "You said Ya Bao is practicing Meteor Rain?!"

"Lu Lu Lu."

Shui Lu Ya Na nodded.

Without a second word, Qiao Sang immediately got up and sprinted toward the courtyard.

Arriving at the courtyard and seeing that Ya Bao was only practicing Meteor Rain with its main body, Qiao Sang let out a long sigh of relief.

She suddenly felt as though she had survived a great tribulation.

Good, good, the money is safe......

"Bang bang bang!

!"

"Boom!"

In the courtyard, sounds of explosions and shattering rang out continuously.

Ya Bao fired off energy balls one after another, practicing Meteor Rain with a relaxed expression.

Little Xun Bao Ghost had a determined look in its eyes, ceaselessly chopping tiles, carrying quite the air of a fighting-type beast.

Qiao Sang watched with satisfaction.

"Lu Lu Lu?"

Shui Lu Ya Na had followed at some unknown point, calling out with a puzzled expression from the side.

Qiao Sang said in a cheerful mood: "Nothing, I just came to see how Ya Bao trains Meteor Rain."

"Lu Lu Lu!"

Shui Lu Ya Na turned its head to watch Ya Bao's heroic figure using Meteor Rain, excitedly pointing with its paw.

It wanted to be like that too!

Truly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder — back when Ya Bao was bombing you with Meteor Rain, you weren't acting like this...... Qiao Sang thought for a moment and said: "Then let's practice Rain Prayer later, one drops fire, one drops rain — they look quite similar."

Shui Lu Ya Na's main focus next should still be on training Healing Light and basic attributes, then figuring out how to evolve within 13 days.

Rain Prayer can be researched a little; practicing it after evolving into an intermediate beast wouldn't be too late.

Shui Lu Ya Na has the trait Free Swimming, which doubles its speed when it rains — if it could use Rain Prayer, it would absolutely be like adding wings to a tiger.

"Lu Lu Lu!"

Shui Lu Ya Na's eyes lit up.

"Ya!"

At this moment, Ya Bao saw its own beast master stop training and ran over wagging its tail.

Shui Lu Ya Na instantly became shy and bashful.

"Why did you suddenly start practicing Meteor Rain?" Qiao Sang asked Ya Bao with a smile.

"Ya ya!"

Ya Bao called out happily, indicating that its Flame Charge had just been trained to the level of Ultimate.

"That fast!"

Qiao Sang was stunned. Just as she was about to call Ya Bao to demonstrate, Ya Bao wagged its tail and called out again.

"Ya ya!"

Were there any more of those energy-restoring drinks from before? It wanted to drink them and train properly!

Qiao Sang said, caught between laughter and tears: "You really are a training maniac. If you had enough energy, you wouldn't have just been thinking about using Shadow Clone to practice Meteor Rain together too, would you?"

"Ya!"

Ya Bao nodded happily.

Its own beast master was really smart — to know all this!

Qiao Sang fell silent.

PS: Thank you everyone for the monthly tickets! Ranked 10th, so excited!
