Chapter 258

"Xun?"

Upon hearing her Beastmaster's words, the Little Treasure first showed a bewildered expression, then after reacting, anxiously teleported to the full-length mirror in the living room to look at itself.

The next second, the entire house echoed with the Little Treasure's screams.

"Xun!

!"

Two minutes later.

In the living room.

"Ya ya..."

Ya Bao patted the Little Treasure, who was crying bitterly, with his claws to show comfort.

It's just that it became smaller after evolution, it's no big deal...

"Xun xun!"

The Little Treasure looked at Ya Bao, who was n times larger than itself, and cried even harder.

Both are evolutions, why is the gap so big!

"Lulu."

The Water Luiana nodded in agreement on the side.

The gap is indeed quite big.

"Xun!"

Qiao Sang watched the scene of the three pet beasts getting along on the sofa and felt very relieved. With Ya Bao and the Water Luiana comforting the Little Treasure, there shouldn't be much of a problem...

She took her phone and went online to find the answer.

Although the Little Treasure's current appearance is much better-looking than a normal Treasure Demon, it is not a normal situation after all.

In reality, it is basically difficult to meet people who have contracted a Treasure Ghost, but once you go online and search for questions related to "Treasure Ghost," a lot of Beastmasters who have contracted Treasure Ghosts will appear below to discuss.

Qiao Sang came to the forum.

She posted a post titled #Why did my Treasure Ghost evolve into a Treasure Demon that not only became smaller in size but also has a slightly different color#.

Before long, she received dozens of comments.

【If you don't understand, just ask. Is this a humblebrag?】

【No picture, no truth, unless you post a photo.】

【Just looking at the OP's ID, I know they are an old humblebragger.】

Humblebrag?

Qiao Sang was a bit confused for a moment. What does this have to do with humblebragging?

In the time it took to think, the post had dozens more replies.

【Is it because the Treasure Ghost was malnourished that it evolved into a Treasure Demon with a small size?】

【The person above is an honest person, identification complete.】

【Let's all disperse, why are we all gathered here listening to the OP bragging?】

【How can you say that about the OP? Don't you know that everyone online has a shiny pet beast?】

Shiny?

Qiao Sang was stunned for a moment looking at these two words, and instantly understood why the netizens said it was a humblebrag. They thought she was showing off that the Treasure Demon's color was different.

She looked up at the Little Treasure, who was still in grief, and hurriedly shook her head to shake off the unrealistic thoughts in her mind.

The Little Treasure already has the Psychic attribute. If it adds a shiny attribute, wouldn't it be heaven-defying?!

Impossible, absolutely impossible!

Qiao Sang typed a reply:

【I am here to ask a question seriously. I can guarantee that my Treasure Demon is not a shiny pet beast. Its body is gray like a normal Treasure Demon. It's just that the color at the end of its hair is a bit different. Let's put the color aside for now. The main thing is that I don't quite understand the size problem.】

Immediately, netizens commented below:

【Doesn't the OP know about partial shiny?】

【Holy crap, I originally thought the OP was bragging, but after this explanation, why does it feel like it might be true?】

【If I'm not mistaken, the OP's Treasure Demon should be a partially shiny pet beast. Some shiny pet beasts have a certain probability of producing energy mutations. It is not impossible for the size after evolution to be different from pet beasts of the same race. For example, isn't Cui Tong's Gale Horse the only one with a shiny tail, but its size is twice that of other Gale Horses?】

【The person above actually took it seriously...】

【The 47th floor's analysis makes a lot of sense, but have you ever thought that the OP only discovered the color difference after the Treasure Ghost evolved into a Treasure Demon? That means the color was normal when it was a Treasure Ghost, and shiny pet beasts are basically determined at birth. It is impossible for the color to appear only after evolution.】

【Brother, you have a point. I was the one who thought wrong.】

【So the OP is bragging without a draft. It would have been enough to say the Treasure Ghost had a different color, but they had to say the Treasure Demon after evolution had a different color.】

The post was still refreshing, but Qiao Sang didn't scroll down, but looked at the reply on the 47th floor and thought silently for a long time.

Partial shiny...

Previously, she hadn't considered the shiny thing at all, partly because the Little Treasure didn't look any different from an ordinary Treasure Ghost when it was a Treasure Ghost.

On the other hand, shiny pet beasts are simply too rare and uncommon.

The Little Treasure already has the Psychic attribute. If it adds a shiny attribute, these two elements are concentrated on one pet beast. Even the developers of the Beastmaster game wouldn't dare to design it like this.

【To be honest, I've been using the source-switching app to read books and catch up on updates recently. Switching sources, with many reading voices,. huanyuanapp works on both Android and Apple.】

But looking back now, the color of the Little Treasure's eyes was different from ordinary Treasure Ghosts when it was still a Treasure Ghost.

The Little Treasure's eyes are golden, while normal Treasure Ghost eyes are medium yellow.

If this is not a genetic problem, but the Little Treasure was born shiny, then everything makes sense...

Because it is a shiny pet beast and was very lucky to have an energy mutation, it mutated the Psychic attribute while possessing the Ghost attribute.

And because it is a shiny pet beast, the Treasure Demon it evolved into is a size smaller than its peers.

The logic is sound...

At this moment, Qiao Sang seemed to hear her own rapid heartbeat.

She looked at the Little Treasure, who was still immersed in sadness, took a deep breath, took two tissues from the coffee table, walked up, and handed them over.

"Xun..."

The Little Treasure looked over with its teary eyes.

Qiao Sang said warmly, "Don't cry, it won't get bigger even if you cry."

The Little Treasure: "...!"

After Qiao Sang explained for nearly ten minutes, the Little Treasure's mouth, which was puffed up with anger, finally returned to its normal state.

"Xun xun!"

The Little Treasure floated to the full-length mirror, turned to the side, and excitedly looked at the end of its hair behind it.

So it is a shiny pet beast!

No wonder it always felt that it was so much more handsome than those of the same race seen online!

9:15 PM.

Hongying Beast Battle Club.

Wang Wang Yiding looked at the Little Treasure, whose appearance had changed greatly, and asked, "Big Boss Qiao, has your Treasure Ghost evolved?"

"Yeah," Qiao Sang smiled, "It evolved today."

Wang Wang Yiding was silent for a long time and spat out four words: "... As expected of you!"

Big Boss Qiao is indeed a big boss! Both pet beasts have actually evolved into intermediate ones! And the Treasure Demon in front of him looks different from ordinary Treasure Demons, its size is obviously much smaller.

If it were someone else's Treasure Demon, he would definitely suspect it was malnourished, but this is Big Boss Qiao's Treasure Demon, and he only thought of one sentence—concentration is the essence.

"Let's start train..." Qiao Sang hadn't finished speaking.

"Xun~"

At this moment, the Little Treasure turned around and specifically showed off the golden hair at its back.

Wang Wang Yiding's attention was instantly drawn away. He said in surprise, "Big Boss Qiao, did you also dye your Treasure Demon's hair?"

The Little Treasure: "..."

"It's getting late, let's start training immediately." Qiao Sang directly changed the subject.

The Little Treasure's shiny attribute is a partial shiny, not as obvious as other shiny pet beasts, and it is too troublesome to explain.

Moreover, shiny pet beasts are simply too rare in reality.

Several Beastmasters who own shiny pet beasts have complained online that whenever they say their pet beast is naturally shiny and not dyed, someone will suggest letting the pet beast take a bath to prove it.

After the pet beast finishes bathing, others see that the water hasn't changed, and then someone will ask which styling studio did the styling, and it actually doesn't fade.

In short, even if you talk until your mouth is dry, some people will still suspect whether your pet beast is really shiny.

Rather than this, it is better not to talk about this topic from the beginning.

Wang Wang Yiding's purpose for coming here is to let the Crown Cat learn Teleport, so naturally, he has no objections.

This time, Qiao Sang didn't go to the side to sit, but accompanied the Little Treasure and the Crown Cat to the training ground.

After standing still, she looked at the Little Treasure and said, "Hypnosis."

"Xun~"

"Crown?"
