Chapter 66: Blaze Ability

Qiao Sang looked at the Fire Tooth Dog and was slightly stunned.

To be slammed so miserably and still be so spirited...

It seems she underestimated it...

Since the Fire Tooth Dog had expressed its opinion, she naturally supported it with all her might.

Looking at the Fire Tooth Dog on the field, swaying but still feeling it could take the opponent down, Qiao Sang's gaze became resolute.

She wants to win.

Perhaps infected by the Fire Tooth Dog's emotions, she felt a surge of the urge to win in her mind again.

It was no longer the mindset of feeling she couldn't win before the match.

Nor was it the feeling of having studied others thoroughly and being sure of winning like in the previous few matches.

But a long-lost youthful impulse.

A passion belonging only to young people ignited in her heart after a long time.

It's just continuing to fight, isn't it!

At worst, let the Fire Tooth Dog get a little injured!

The Fire Tooth Dog fighting on the field isn't afraid!

What is she, a Beast Tamer who just moves her lips on the sidelines, afraid of!

"Flame Charge!" Qiao Sang said with a resolute expression.

Some audience members further away watching the big screen noticed that at this moment, Qiao Sang's expression overlapped with the Fire Tooth Dog's, looking exactly the same.

The Fire Tooth Dog did not pause and immediately took action.

Unlike the previous few Flame Charges.

This time, there was no need for a running start to release the energy within its body; as the Fire Tooth Dog made a starting motion with its hind limbs, flames burst out from within its body, wrapping around its entire body.

Judging by the momentum, one couldn't tell at all that it had just been injured.

The Weighing-Scale Puppet was not at a very high position, and with a hard jump during the charge, the Fire Tooth Dog was fully capable of reaching its position.

Here, the Weighing-Scale Puppet had just finished using its wide-range Telekinesis with full power; before its short arms could rest for long, it saw the Fire Tooth Dog rushing toward it with aggressive momentum, wrapped in flames.

It was stunned for a moment, then felt the surrounding temperature suddenly spike.

Regaining its senses, it discovered that the Fire Tooth Dog, wrapped in flames and unrecognizable, had already rushed in front of it.

The Weighing-Scale Puppet was startled and scrambled to Teleport to another direction.

"Telekinesis."

Before the Weighing-Scale Puppet could stabilize its figure, it heard its Beast Tamer's command.

It hurriedly spread its short arms and mobilized the little energy remaining in its body.

"Failed again; the Teleport skill is simply unsolvable among pets at this current level," the commentator expressed his opinion at the right time.

The Fire Tooth Dog missed its target.

But the flames wrapped around its body did not disappear.

It turned its head and continued to launch an attack toward the Weighing-Scale Puppet.

However, halfway through the charge, its body became unable to move.

By the time it understood what was happening, it had already been slammed heavily onto the ground.

"Flame Charge!" Qiao Sang issued the same command again.

The Fire Tooth Dog climbed up with difficulty, and flames wrapped around it once more.

Seeing this, the audience couldn't help but start discussing.

"This Fire Tooth Dog's perseverance is truly extraordinary. The third pet you contracted is also a Fire Tooth Dog; how does it compare to this one?"

"You mean my Fatty? Heh."

"It's useless no matter how many times it launches an attack; the other side can Teleport, and their Telekinesis has reached Major Achievement. Isn't this just doing useless work?"

"Why do you care what others think? Isn't it enough to watch happily?"

"I'm just feeling sorry for the Fire Tooth Dog, aren't I?"

"This is a competition; feeling sorry for this and that just because of a little injury, do you think this is playing house?"

"..."

On the field.

This time, before the Fire Tooth Dog could get close, the Weighing-Scale Puppet didn't use Teleport and directly controlled the Fire Tooth Dog with Telekinesis.

"Bang!"

It was the sound of being slammed heavily onto the ground again.

Qiao Sang clenched her fists, watching the Fire Tooth Dog drag its injured body and support itself to stand up again.

She suppressed the shock in her heart and said forcefully: "Flame Charge!"

At this moment, everyone on the field didn't understand.

"What's wrong with this Qiao Sang?"

"Didn't she perform quite smartly in the previous few matches?"

"Flame Charge has strong attack power, but what's the point if it can't hit the opponent?"

"Maybe she's given up; anyway, if she's going to lose, she might as well show her own mettle."

At the commentary desk.

"The Fire Tooth Dog has stood up again! It hasn't given up! Even if it loses this match, the Fire Tooth Dog's unyielding spirit will be firmly remembered by us!" the commentator said, moved.

Flames wrapped around the Fire Tooth Dog once again.

Watching the Fire Tooth Dog rush over again relying on perseverance, some soft-hearted audience members couldn't help but cover their eyes, unable to bear watching the scene that followed.

"Bang!"

It was still the sound of being slammed heavily onto the ground.

The audience who had covered their eyes heard the sound and lowered their hands.

Then they were dumbfounded.

"Holy crap! What's going on? Can someone tell me why the one on the ground is the Weighing-Scale Puppet?!"

However, no one around answered him.

They didn't know why either!

Qiao Sang was a bit excited.

Her countermeasure had no flaws!

She didn't know much about some of the Psychic-type pet skills, but looking at the situation on the field, she had some judgment.

At first, the Telekinesis used by the Weighing-Scale Puppet was not at the Major Achievement level; it only used it later because it had no other choice.

She was thinking that the power of Telekinesis can be controlled.

The greater the Telekinesis intensity, the more energy it consumes.

So, in order to save its energy, the Weighing-Scale Puppet must have controlled the Telekinesis intensity within a certain range.

The Fire Tooth Dog's previous two Flame Charges were to create the illusion for the Weighing-Scale Puppet that it only needed to output a portion of its Telekinesis to control the Fire Tooth Dog.

Of course, the Fire Tooth Dog didn't know her arrangement.

It was simply listening to her and using Flame Charge with full power.

It was just that for the third Flame Charge, she entered the Beast Taming Codex and suddenly added the Flame Charge value from Entry to Mastery.

Although it was only from Entry to Mastery, Flame Charge itself is a relatively strong offensive move among intermediate skills.

And the Weighing-Scale Puppet had already been blinded by the power of the first two Flame Charges.

The Telekinesis intensity output for the third time would only be about the same as the first two.

The result was indeed as she had thought.

In the end, the Telekinesis output by the Weighing-Scale Puppet simply couldn't resist the suddenly strengthened Flame Charge.

"Ya!"

"Ya!"

The Fire Tooth Dog called out twice.

The first call was out of happiness, the second was out of pain.

It had completely forgotten to control its facial expression to maintain its cool demeanor, jumping up excitedly on the spot and calling out, then falling over with weak limbs.

Fortunately, it quickly climbed up again.

On the other side, the Weighing-Scale Puppet had no flames burning on its body, but it felt as if it were being burned by fire.

"Scale!!"

The Weighing-Scale Puppet kept rolling, crying out in pain.

Hou Hou Xiangyu's heart couldn't help but sink.

He knew this was the Burned state appearing on the Weighing-Scale Puppet.

Flame Charge is a skill that has a certain chance of causing the opponent to enter a Burned state.

Once a Burned state appears, it will continuously cause damage.

The Weighing-Scale Puppet didn't have much energy left, and its defense wasn't strong either.

If this continues, it's likely to lose...

But the opponent wasn't doing much better.

"Stand up! Illusion Ray!" Hou Hou Xiangyu shouted.

"Flame Vortex!" Qiao Sang shouted at the same time.

The Fire Tooth Dog had suffered too heavy an injury; if the opponent's energy could still support the release of a sweeping Illusion Ray, it definitely wouldn't be able to dodge it.

Since that's the case.

Must fight head-on!

The Weighing-Scale Puppet endured the continuous burning sensation on its body, stood up, raised its short claws, and condensed all the remaining energy in its body.

And the Fire Tooth Dog also tried hard to condense its energy into a larger size.

"Bang!"

The two energies collided, but they didn't cancel each other out.

The Illusion Ray pressed over the Flame Vortex and struck straight toward the Fire Tooth Dog.

Won!

Hou Hou Xiangyu thought to himself.

Never expected that winning against a Fire Tooth Dog still in its initial stage could make him so excited.

"The winner is Hou..."

The words on the referee's lips stopped for a moment.

The fallen Fire Tooth Dog was supporting its body and had stood up once again!

Different from the previous few times, the Fire Tooth Dog's gaze was fierce, even faintly tinged with blood, and its body was wrapped in some reddish-orange flames.

This isn't Flame Charge; this is...

"This is the Blaze ability!" the commentator stood up excitedly.

Hou Hou Xiangyu almost vomited blood.

What's wrong with this Fire Tooth Dog!

Is it impossible to knock it down!

At the same time, the energy in the Weighing-Scale Puppet's body was exhausted; it closed its eyes and couldn't support itself anymore, falling down.

The whole arena was silent. ===== CHAPTER 67 =====
