Chapter 691

The area where the freshmen of the Beast Taming Department were located.

The three of them became much more familiar with each other during their casual chatting.

"See that?" Lai Lai La Li pointed to one of the nine big shots on the stage and said: "That is the dean of our Beast Taming Academy."

Qiao Sang looked in the direction she pointed and saw an old man with half-white hair, a face full of wrinkles, but a very rosy complexion.

"I heard that this Gilbert Heron is already 483 years old." Landen, the brown-haired boy, lowered his voice and said.

483 years old? Qiao Sang was truly shocked: "So old?"

She looked in astonishment at the big-shot figure in the distance who was older than her grandfather's grandfather's grandfather.

Honestly, the textbook mentioned that once a Beast Tamer reaches a certain realm, the feedback received can affect their lifespan, allowing them to live far longer than ordinary people, but this was her first time seeing someone who had lived so long in reality.

Rounding it up, it's almost five centuries...

"The older you are, the stronger you are," Landen didn't hide his longing: "I must also live this long in the future."

【Effective immediately, freshmen will be issued 100 points uniformly.】

The freshmen also quickly understood the purpose of the assessment and communicated with the classmates around them one after another:

"Water type, grass type, poison type, what about you?"

Amidst the communication of the crowd, Qiao Sang slowly stood up.

A virtual panel was seen frozen in mid-air, motionless.

Qiao Sang asked: "The one with 1 point?"

Everyone had heard about points in the few days they came to report; they knew it was important, but didn't know it was this important!

The teacher on the stage continued:

Electric type and grass type restrain water type.

Qiao Sang shook her head: "No."

At this time, Qiao Sang heard Lai Lai La Li say in a tone of regret:

A total of three hours of assessment time... But why was the attribute of the opponent's pet beast specifically stipulated? There are clearly pet beasts of normal type, ice type, flying type, dragon type, poison type, insect type, fairy type, psychic type, etc... Could it be that defeating Beast Tamers who possess these pet beast attributes doesn't count as points... Qiao Sang looked at these stipulated attributes, her brain spinning at high speed, analyzing, and then she thought of something and suddenly became enlightened.

It's too troublesome. Just screening opponents would take a lot of time. With that time, maybe the battle would already be over... Qiao Sang held Like Ya Bao, cleared her throat, and said loudly:

For a time, classmates from other departments stood up one after another and left, but not a single pair of Beast Taming Department classmates had successfully made an appointment to battle and gone out.

"Yulidun University is mainly to let everyone understand that here, you have to rely on yourself. Among the students who have entered Yulidun University, there are some students from ordinary families. Everyone definitely needs points, so to a large extent, the opportunities are equal."

Lai Lai La Li looked over instantly: "You also performed a transfer?"

Qiao Sang understood a little.

During this time, she had an unlimited card and knew that some top-tier resources and talents couldn't be possessed just by relying on money. Points here can weaken the influence of large families and, in a sense, achieve equality at the starting point.

Like those well-known top-tier institutions, there is basically no information about internal management online. What exists is only the school's ranking and environment, the background information of teachers, outstanding alumni, and some research and achievements.

The purpose of the assessment is to let us defeat opponents who happen to restrain our own attributes... If that's the case, wouldn't the opponent attributes everyone needs to defeat be the same... If one is not careful and chooses the wrong opponent, it's possible to battle in vain, losing the pet beast's physical strength and energy... I'm afraid everyone will have to spend a lot of time just screening opponents...

【Points: 0】

Ghost type and dark type restrain ghost type, and also restrain psychic type.

Very quickly, the page jumped, and relevant information appeared.

Qiao Sang glanced at him: "There is no internal news about Yulidun University online."

Using space movement to perform collective transport?

I don't know if Little Treasure Hunt can do it... Qiao Sang thought while putting on the smart glasses in front of her.

As soon as these words were spoken, the entire hall suddenly erupted into a tidal wave of uproar.

Fighting type and fire type restrain steel type...

Qiao Sang suddenly remembered something, took out her phone, and checked the email sent by Yulidun University back then.

【Please enter your student ID and password】

"Everyone's pet beasts are more than one. If you want to find an opponent with reverse attributes and make the other party refuse to battle, both sides must possess mutually restraining pet beasts. You fight one match, I fight one match, that's how it can be fought. I think everyone will have to chat for half a day first."

The previously quiet surroundings suddenly became silent, and everyone stared over with burning eyes.

"My god! A senior borrowed 10 points from me, am I not going to be able to get them back?"

Landen was silent for a moment, then he coughed and said:

"This assessment will give corresponding points based on the results. Everyone might not understand the importance of points yet. Here, I will explain it to everyone."

"Who is blocking the way? I was already in front of you!"

There are actually pet beasts that can increase the lifespan of all things... Qiao Sang admitted that she had gained more knowledge.

Beast Taming Department freshman area.

The freshmen said one sentence after another, starting to tell about their encounters in the past few days, condemning the seniors for using various means to defraud them of their points.

Water type, ground type, rock type restrain fire type.

Landen looked around and said in a tone of surprise:

【Task: Defeat any Beast Tamer in the Beast Taming Academy who possesses water type, ground type, rock type, ghost type, dark type, electric type, grass type, steel type, fighting type, fire type pet beasts (defeating one counts as one point)】

"Maybe someone is a hothead and doesn't understand the situation and just fights?"

【Name: Qiao Sang】

How much proficiency does this take to achieve?

"Even if you want to fight, wait until I'm done!"

"Impossible, no matter what, they are students who have entered our Yulidun University. They are definitely different from those Beast Tamers who rely purely on brute force."

Very quickly, new content appeared.

【Major: Beast Taming Department】

Qiao Sang felt the scorching gazes around her, then thought of something, stopped, and added loudly: "Only those from the Beast Taming Department."

Rock type, steel type, fighting type, and fire type restrain ice type.

"With points, you can purchase any items that can be exchanged within the school. Many subjects involving professional knowledge also require points to listen to lectures, borrow books, and want to live in good dormitories. All these require points."

"Ah! A senior sister took me to the dormitory, toured the campus, etc., and asked me to give her 2 points. Was I cheated?"

"I won't tell you, you don't have a single one that restrains me."

The freshmen of the Beast Taming Department were all here. Some people wanted to know more people before making an appointment to battle, otherwise, once they went out from here, it would be difficult to find classmates from their own department again. After all, everyone was a new face.

"As long as you have enough points, teachers and students of any department can serve you. S-level breeders, prop makers, pharmacists, spirit pattern masters, mechanics, appraisers, spirit plant masters... our school is not short of these talents."

"If I had known points were so important, I wouldn't have let that senior sister transport me to the reporting office on the day of reporting!"

Lai Lai La Li: "..."

After speaking, she turned and left.

"..."

"Damn, I saw a Peacock of Deception on the day of reporting. It shook its body when it saw me and dropped a feather, and then a senior appeared, insisting that I plucked the feather and made me pay 3 points. Thinking about it now, was I scammed?!"

【Note: Do not take off the smart glasses during the battle】

Damn? A C-level Beast Tamer lived to be 329 years old? What kind of pet beast is the Shengheng Momu, so awesome?! Qiao Sang's pupils shrank, and she really wanted to ask, but in order not to expose her "poor student" nature in front of her newly made friends, she silently took out her phone and started searching for "Shengheng Momu".

After saying this, she stepped forward and prepared to leave.

At the same time, several teachers in the Beast Taming Department area started to converse:

【Assessment location: Any location.】

However, Qiao Sang's ears automatically filtered it out. After she put her phone back in her pocket, she only heard the person on the stage say:

The people of the Beast Taming Department were stunned for a moment, then stood up in unison, started pushing and shoving, and swarmed toward the main entrance.

【Shengheng Momu, a legendary pet beast of the Super Star, can increase the lifespan of all things, but the cost is still unknown. It is said that it only wakes up once every 500 years.】

Several teachers in the Beast Taming Department area: "???"

"Are you trying to pick a fight!"

Qiao Sang raised her hand and clicked.

"What attributes of pet beasts do you have?"

"Everyone wants to find pet beasts with reverse attributes to battle, but for others, it is exactly the attribute that restrains them. Engaging in battle will waste time. The purpose of this assessment is also to let everyone communicate more and learn more about pet beast information."

"Don't block the way!"

Very quickly, she stopped at one of the lines of text.

Lai Lai La Li held a different opinion: "Living long doesn't mean you are necessarily very strong. Like Peter Newona, he was only a C-level Beast Tamer, but with the help of Shengheng Momu's ability, he lived to be 329 years old."

"100 points, whoever defeats me first, all my 100 points will belong to me. I'll wait for them outside!"

"It also means that as long as you have points, you can obtain everything you want here!"

"The assessment of each academy is independent. You don't need to communicate with each other. Now, please pick up the smart glasses in front of you to confirm your assessment content."

Just as she was checking, the person on the stage started speaking.

"I didn't expect so many people to not know the role of points at Yulidun University. I thought everyone had understood the situation here before coming to Yulidun University."

If you want to battle smoothly, both sides must happen to have pet beasts that are restrained. But finding such an opponent is not something that can be completed immediately.

Smart glasses? Qiao Sang looked forward and found that a pair of transparent smart glasses had appeared out of thin air where there was nothing before.

【Countdown to end: 2:59:52】

Moreover, there are only so many pet beasts of each attribute. Once others battle first and the combat power of the opponent's pet beast is gone, there is no way to initiate a battle... After figuring it out, Qiao Sang pressed the side of the smart glasses frame with her finger, and the virtual panel disappeared.

"That's just an individual case," Landen retorted.
