Chapter 9: Red-Tangerine Fruit

Inherited skills are moves inherited from parents and do not need to be learned later; Fire Fang is a special move that most Fire-Tooth Dogs will inherit.

Although inherited skills are innate, don't expect a newborn young beast to be able to release them; everything has a gradual process.

Humans are born knowing how to eat, but they still have to start from teething and drinking milk.

The proficiency of a skill starts at Entry, and the next stage is Proficient.

Entry-level skills have little power and belong to the category of just having mastered them.

Lower-level skills can basically be released once they reach the Entry level, but higher-level skills might not be able to be used every time even after reaching the Entry level; this is a problem of not being proficient enough.

Fire Fang is an intermediate skill. According to logic, the Fire-Tooth Dog's Fire Fang has only reached the Entry (2/100) level, so it shouldn't have been released so easily.

But it did it.

Qiao Sang guessed that as long as the Fire-Tooth Dog's skills were displayed on the Beast-Taming Codex, it could release them.

She picked up one and handed it to the Fire-Tooth Dog's mouth, smiling. "Eat it."

【Attribute: Fire】

Qiao Sang: "..."

"Be good, eat one last one." Qiao Sang stroked its head.

【Level: Beginner (63/1000) +】

The Fire-Tooth Dog patted its belly to show it was full.

And autonomous awakeners only have a brain domain development 3% to 6% higher than those awakened later, allowing them to awaken the Beast-Taming Codex again faster and have more hope of entering a higher realm; there is nothing else special.

【Points 50】

"Someone fought? Oh, then it's fine."

Qiao Sang took out her phone and dialed 661.

"Hello, is this the Beast-Taming Emergency Center? I'm at the Hangzhou Beast-Taming Center. There is an injured Desert-Tail Fox; could you please come as soon as possible?"

"Tooth."

【Attribute: Fire】

The Fire-Tooth Dog looked at Qiao Sang, shook its red tail, lowered its head, and ate.

One Red-Tangerine Fruit is 700 Alliance coins, so two Red-Tangerine Fruits are 1400 Alliance coins.

Qiao Sang returned home; her mother wasn't there, but on the dining table was a bag of Red-Tangerine Fruits that Fire-element pet beasts specifically loved to eat.

Qiao Sang's breathing quickened.

*This food is so delicious! *

Qiao Sang saw it finish eating, and her consciousness came to the Beast-Taming Codex.

【Skills: Bite (Entry 73/100) +, Slam (Proficient 135/500) +, Fire Fang (Entry 2/100) +】

Nothing changed.

It had eaten two before, and it couldn't swallow the third one in one breath, so it could only eat it one bite at a time.

*My god! That could buy a Psychic-element pet beast! *

Qiao Sang almost screamed in excitement.

【Points 50】

【Skills: Bite (Entry 73/100) +, Slam (Proficient 135/500) +, Fire Fang (Entry 2/100) +】

【Level: Beginner (115/1000) +】

【Name: Fire-Tooth Dog】

The Fire-Tooth Dog widened its eyes in surprise.

She guessed right; it was indeed two Red-Tangerine Fruits for one point.

Although it only added one point, it proved her guess was correct!

【Level: Beginner (64/1000) +】

It changed!

The value really could be added...

Qiao Sang stared at the Red-Tangerine Fruit in a daze.

This kind of fruit that could improve the physique of Fire-element extraordinary creatures cost 700 Alliance coins each; eating it occasionally was fine, but eating it every day was really unaffordable.

【Points 0】

Qiao Sang calmed down.

The level column changed from Beginner (63/1000) + to Beginner (64/1000) +!

This point could directly increase strength; didn't that mean she saved so much money! And whether the Fire-Tooth Dog fought or ate things that strengthened its strength, it could add corresponding values!

Plus the point bonus, she could completely cultivate the Fire-Tooth Dog into an intermediate pet beast three or four times faster than others!

If this isn't a golden finger, what is!

After a few seconds, Qiao Sang took out her phone and searched for all topics related to the Beast-Taming Codex; sure enough, none of them appeared in her situation.

"Can I have a pet beast battle with you?" A boy wearing a hat chased after her.

A fruit like the Red-Tangerine Fruit that could enhance the physique of Fire-element extraordinary creatures shouldn't have no reaction after being eaten.

The value didn't change.

【Name: Fire-Tooth Dog】

Qiao Sang's consciousness withdrew. Although she still wanted to study the point problem, it was clearly not the time to study it now.

Qiao Sang smiled and took out a Red-Tangerine Fruit and fed it another one.

In the Beast-Taming Codex, Qiao Sang saw the Fire-Tooth Dog's level had become Beginner (65/1000) +.

She had a guess beforehand, but now it was just confirming her idea was correct. Besides, she had transmigrated; having a golden finger wasn't anything special.

Qiao Sang hung up the phone and didn't pay attention to the dazed girl opposite. She picked up the Fire-Tooth Dog and prepared to go home. Turning her head, she found a group of people standing behind her.

After it finished eating, Qiao Sang connected her consciousness to the Beast-Taming Codex again.

However...

The essence of humans is loving to watch the fun. In the time it took to fight, more than half of the people in the venue had gathered, and some were holding phones and filming.

1,239,000 Alliance coins...

The Fire-Tooth Dog swallowed it immediately.

The Fire-Tooth Dog sniffed with its nose. It ate compressed blocks uniformly issued at the pet base and hadn't eaten this before.

The Fire-Tooth Dog stretched out a paw and tugged at Qiao Sang's hand.

Qiao Sang's gaze came to the points at the bottom, and with a thought, she added them all to the back of Beginner (65/1000) +.

【Skills: Bite (Entry 73/100) +, Slam (Proficient 135/500) +, Fire Fang (Entry 2/100) +】

The Fire-Tooth Dog picked up the Red-Tangerine Fruit with its two front paws and gnawed on it.

"Little sister, I see you have aptitude; are you interested in being a streamer?" A young man with red hair came to her side.

The Fire-Tooth Dog didn't hesitate anymore and swallowed the Red-Tangerine Fruit in one bite.

Could it be that it takes two Red-Tangerine Fruits to add one point?

【Attribute: Fire】

Qiao Sang picked up a Red-Tangerine Fruit again and handed it over.

Qiao Sang's consciousness connected to the Beast-Taming Codex, falling into deep thought.

It smelled good, and it looked like the thing on the tree next to where it used to live, just a different color. It was a pity it didn't get to eat the thing on that tree.

1400 Alliance coins only added one point; there were still 885 points left, which equals 1770 Red-Tangerine Fruits.

Qiao Sang's scalp went numb. She picked up the Fire-Tooth Dog and left, the Fat House Pigeon following closely behind.

"Thank you, no." Qiao Sang went around him.

【Name: Fire-Tooth Dog】

"Classmate, which school are you from?" An auntie asked with concern on the side.

Could it be that she still had to wait for digestion?

Qiao Sang hesitated looking at the 4 Red-Tangerine Fruits left on the dining table, picked one up, and handed it to the Fire-Tooth Dog again.

Of course, all of this was her guess; she would have to wait until the Fire-Tooth Dog learned higher-level skills to verify it.

"Tooth!"

Just then, the brat was still sitting on the ground, the Desert-Tail Fox was covered in wounds, and its neck was still bleeding.

"Tooth!"

Qiao Sang frowned. It shouldn't be; the values changed after the battle today, which indicated that everything the Fire-Tooth Dog experienced had progress.

"No." Qiao Sang refused.

That was it.

After it finished eating, it patted its belly with satisfaction.

Yes.

Nothing special...

The Fire-Tooth Dog looked up at Qiao Sang, its eyes full of confusion.

Why was its beast-tamer smiling foolishly at the air?
