Chapter 26: Image Issue

Since some readers want to see images, but the author doesn’t have a computer and can’t download the PC version of the Author Assistant, I can’t insert chapter illustrations—so if I want to post images, I can only do so in the comments section, which might be inconvenient; it’s up to everyone’s preference, though it would be better if any big shots are willing to post images in the comments.

Next, I’ll note at the end of each chapter, in the Author’s Notes, the horror films from which these characters originate, so readers won’t be completely in the dark.

Maria is the female lead of “The Woman in the Mirror,” a dark-style beauty, but her later plotline becomes somewhat off-putting—I’ll revise it.

Madison is one of the female leads of “American Horror Story: Coven,” beautiful but a bitch—I might make slight adjustments.

Zoe is another female lead of “Coven,” with a different kind of beauty from Madison; and there are many other beautiful women in “Coven”—I must say, this season has no shortage of beauties.

More horror movie beauties will appear later; some will be taken in, some won’t—the protagonist will definitely grow up and become a man before the novel is monetized, so don’t worry.

Additionally, this novel has a harem, but none of them are female leads—only supporting female characters. The Left Path practitioners value love, but they don’t blindly believe in it!

Regarding the protagonist’s cheat ability, it may seem weak or slow, but this is for the sake of pacing and power balance; we’re still in the early stage—if it were too overpowered now, the story would collapse, especially since the protagonist hasn’t yet unlocked the Left Path section to receive the true inheritance. Rest assured, corpse cultivation, soul forging, paper dolls, and more will all appear—this setting of “American Horror Story” is truly fitting.
