Chapter 290: Currency

PS. Chapter 286 has been slightly modified, changing the pattern that appeared when the phone data was deleted from a clown to an eye.

Main text:

Good people and bad people are often in a single thought.

When the incident first came out, everyone was frantically looking for resources, using a critical eye to "appreciate" these privacy of female stars.

And after the voices of sympathy and calling for a stop were issued, everyone righteously condemned Mitesdan and launched a "delete" action, calling on netizens to delete related information and protect others' privacy.

Such behavior is certainly not wrong, but it seems to have come a little late. Moreover, calling for it with words doesn't cost money, and it is estimated that there are not many people who are really willing to delete it.

The Paradise Island incident broke out very quickly, spreading to the world in less than half a day.

And the impact it caused is not as simple as exposing female stars' privacy.

First of all, it made the term "dark web" known to everyone for the first time.

Before this, few people would specifically promote the existence of the dark web to others, and the Paradise Island incident let many people know that there is such a place on the back of the world, and it is no exaggeration to say that it opened the door to a new world.

Secondly, there is Bitcoin. As hard currency on the dark web, Bitcoin's fame is still greater than the dark web. Most ways to understand it are actually through "mining." Many people will come into contact with this concept when buying second-hand graphics cards.

Before today, the market price of Bitcoin was only 10,000 USD. Although it was expensive, it was not outrageous.

And after the Paradise Island incident broke out, people who wanted to buy the information of the female stars they wanted to see were told that they needed to pay with Bitcoin, so a large number of purchase requests for Bitcoin appeared in the online market.

And under the hype of interested people, Bitcoin was blown up into a universal high-value currency. Buying it early is earning it. The price of Bitcoin also rose with the tide, reaching 20,000 USD on the second day, directly doubling!

Miss Luo Quan was also taken aback when she saw this news. She had expected that Bitcoin would rise sharply this year, but she didn't expect it to be in this way, and the growth rate far exceeded her previous life.

Looking at this posture, one Bitcoin is very likely to be worth 100,000 USD. This is a sky-high price in the true sense!

Although the popular trading market for Bitcoin is basically a lawless dark zone, Bitcoin itself is a legal commodity. After its value was hyped up, a wave of buying Bitcoin started at home and abroad, and the mood was even more fanatical than stock investors encountering a bull market.

And under such a wave, the impact of privacy leaks suddenly became much smaller.

Of course, the Women's Protection Association also contributed to this.

Although Bitcoin was hyped so lively, Miss Luo Quan did not participate in it.

She knows how big the bubble of this thing is. Don't look at the price being hyped so high now, it will plummet in an instant next year, and the vast majority will lose everything.

The price of this virtual asset itself cannot be controlled by the market. Changing a string of numbers is a very simple thing for some people.

Anyway, in her memory, after the price of Bitcoin plummeted, many people jumped off buildings with their whole families, staging one human tragedy after another.

In order to let fewer people suffer losses, Miss Luo Quan decided to give these people a reminder. In order to let more people see it, she posted a dynamic on Weibo:

"The price of Bitcoin has been fluctuating since its birth, and it is too easy to be manipulated. People with spare money can buy some, even if they lose it, it doesn't matter.

But those with poor economic conditions, it is best not to lose everything to buy this thing. In case the price falls one day, you may lose everything overnight!"

In the text, Miss Luo Quan did not stop people from buying, just said it is best not to buy, because she didn't want others to think she was ordering them, causing resentment.

However, in the face of such huge temptation, any discordant voice is extremely harsh to these people, and Miss Luo Quan's dissuasion was quickly responded to:

"You have money yourself, you can't block others' way to get rich. Just pretend you don't see such a business opportunity?"

"Rich people are always afraid that their status will be challenged by ordinary people, because this will make them lose the superiority of being able to look at people with their nostrils."

"Bitcoin is the biggest business opportunity in the next ten years. It has already gone crazy abroad. Some people have completed class crossing by relying on this. Only Miss Luo Quan is still persuading everyone not to buy. I don't know if she is really stupid or holding bad intentions."

"Maybe she is buying it herself, saying this is actually afraid that everyone will grab too much."

Miss Luo Quan actually guessed that it would be such a result, but some things must be said. If she doesn't say it, her conscience will not be able to pass.

As for whether these people listen or not, it is not something she can manage. After all, good words are hard to persuade the damned ghost. She has already said the good words once. Those who can listen will naturally calm down, and those who can't listen will go to buy even if you tie his hands and feet.

Besides being a saint on Weibo once, Miss Luo Quan also went to Twitter to participate in an activity.

It was a "delete" activity initiated by the International Women's Protection Association, which was to call on netizens who downloaded female stars' privacy to delete these materials.

Not only the female stars involved this time, but many female stars whose privacy was not exposed also participated, initiating appeal tweets on Twitter.

Although Miss Luo Quan was not greatly affected, she must actively respond this time, mainly because she also wanted to urge relevant departments to catch this hacker as soon as possible.

It is said that Apple has already let their own computer technology experts form a special investigation team to trace the source of the Paradise Island website, which is currently underway.

In addition to Apple, many major international brands, such as Universal, Sony, Warner, etc., also expressed their willingness to fully support this action.

Many artists under these big companies suffered this time, many of them directly collapsed their personas, and the company suffered huge losses.

It is estimated that when they find the person, these companies will directly find a killer to arrange him.

After all, leaking privacy can't eat bullets.

With such a big thing happening, Eric also called to ask about his daughter's situation.

After learning that his daughter did not leak too much important privacy, he felt much more at ease.

The Paradise Island incident came fast and went fast.

When the popularity was at its highest, Zhihu had over 100 million discussion popularity, and B Station was full of related videos.

After the "delete" movement appeared, the popularity dropped quickly, and various online platforms were also intentionally letting the impact of the incident fade, simply put, cold treatment.

The place that is still lively until now is probably P-site. The hot word list is full of searches for Paradise Island. Even if P-site itself is deleting related videos, it can't stop those users from continuously uploading.

This matter cannot be eliminated just because you want to eliminate it.

The scars have already been caused. After the incident, many involved female stars broke out news of breaking up, and many female stars announced the delay of recent works, and the endorsed products were replaced.

Many people are sighing about the reality of society on the internet, sympathizing with the encounters of these women.

As for Miss Luo Quan, she is preparing for the rehearsal of the National Style Ceremony.

The Paradise Island incident is a major event that could destroy the career for other female stars. For Miss Luo Quan, it actually played a positive role. Now the whole internet knows that she has a good figure, and also knows that she really doesn't use cosmetics.

In the Taobao shopping records, besides clothes and digital products, there are some food, which is basically consistent with the shopping habits of the new era otaku.

After the incident, she also quickly invested in work, rehearsing many times two days before officially going on stage.

Her two programs are the highlights of this National Style Ceremony. For the solo program, B Station even specially produced an illustration short film for the song.

Although they are all static pictures, the quality is very high, and the studio B Station found also worked hard for more than a week to produce it.

Rehearsing for two days, everything was ready, and the publicity for the National Style Ceremony on the internet was everywhere.

This National Style Ceremony is not only to inherit traditional culture, but also to use this great opportunity to attract traffic for B Station.

"Be the YouTube of China" has always been B Station's slogan. Currently, it can be considered half successful. At least among young people, it is already quite influential.

Afterwards, B Station naturally diversified the content on the site, making two-dimensional a label of B Station rather than the main body.

Although two-dimensional is the root of B Station's rise, if you want to make it bigger and stronger, relying on two-dimensional is definitely not enough.

And this National Style Ceremony is a good opportunity to show the public the diversification of B Station. N Station attaches great importance to it. It is said that Boss Cheng will personally come to the scene to watch.

August 15th of the new calendar, there is still nearly a month before the Mid-Autumn Festival. Today, the Starlight Film and Television Center is gathered with stars. Many current top-tier artists and idols have come to the scene.

These people are regulars at various evening parties. In a few days, it will be Weibo Night, and many people here will be present by then.

Miss Luo Quan remembers that when she last participated in Weibo Night, she was just a singer who had just achieved success, belonging to the second-tier traffic level in China, but because she often hit the hot search and had a good relationship with Wen Xia, she was invited.

However, this time when she participates in Weibo Night again, the treatment she receives will probably not be as cold as it was back then.

Her thoughts drifted a little far. The National Style Ceremony had already started unknowingly. The stars who were going to go on stage had already changed their clothes and put on makeup, chatting with people nearby.

It is worth mentioning that B Station did not invite the currently hottest girl group Girls' Generation this time. It's not that they couldn't afford it, but that this girl group follows the Korean wave, and the songs are all modern dance music, which is not suitable for singing at the National Style Ceremony.

Miss Luo Quan could write ancient-style girl group songs, but when she knew about this, it was already a bit late, and it was too late to invite them.

So this time at the National Style Ceremony, there was only her, and she didn't know any of the other star guests.

For the performance, she specially customized a long dress.

It was bought in a Taobao shop specializing in making ancient-style cosplay clothes, costing several thousand.

The dress is snow-white, relatively thin, with fluttering skirts and fluttering sleeves. At first glance, it looks quite like the Chang'e fairy.

But Miss Luo Quan herself thinks it looks more like Little Dragon Maiden's attire, just a Little Dragon Maiden with blonde hair.

Alone in the unfamiliar crowd, Miss Luo Quan appeared quite quiet, only able to say a few words to the musicians she had rehearsed with before.

The people B Station invited to play with her this time are all top-tier domestic musicians, with erhu, pipa, guzheng, and drums, and the types are quite complete.

Miss Luo Quan originally wanted to play the suona, but after trying the effect, she found that the sound was too loud, and as soon as she opened her mouth, the voices of the others were suppressed.

Although the sound of the suona is very imposing, it is really not suitable for appearing in an ensemble, unless all the instruments in the ensemble are suona.

So Miss Luo Quan adjusted the instruments, not playing the suona but changing to playing the flute.

To master the technique of playing the flute, Miss Luo Quan spent a lot of popularity points.

During the rehearsal, several performance masters were also slightly surprised by Miss Luo Quan's performance level. They never expected that this girl was so young and could play so many instruments.

As far as they know, the song played this time was also written by this girl. This level of song is definitely not the cheap pop songs on the market, it is a true masterpiece!

Surprised, several masters also shouted that Chinese music has successors, and two even directly proposed to take Miss Luo Quan as an apprentice.

However, Miss Luo Quan politely declined because she was about to study popular music at Shangyi. After knowing that Miss Luo Quan was a student, several masters were also very regretful.

Shangyi's Conservatory of Music is one of the best professional colleges in China. These people have all been guest professors for a period of time, but the time is not long.

And according to their observation, Miss Luo Quan's instrument performance level is already quite good. Even if they let them teach, it is estimated that they can't teach much, nothing more than some family-inherited unique skills.

But even if these things were really to be taught, it would be impossible to teach Miss Luo Quan so quickly.

So the matter of taking an apprentice could only be given up in the end.

The stage of the National Style Ceremony was bustling with noise and excitement. It has now reached the fourth program, and the next one is Miss Luo Quan.

Performing is the Sunshine Boy Trio, which is also the hottest male group in China at present.

The members of this group debuted at the age of thirteen or fourteen, and have countless sister fans and mother fans in China, and their popularity is quite high.

However, they were not particularly liked at B Station in the early days. Fortunately, they were not made into too many ghost animal videos for the time being.

And as these three gradually grew up, the reputation improved slightly, but it didn't improve much.

However, performing on stage today, the core users of B Station below still gave quite warm applause. Anyway, it looked quite supportive, and there was no lack of applause and cheers.

But there is no harm without comparison. After the Sunshine Boy's performance ended, just as the host walked onto the stage, the cheers below were already earth-shattering.

Everyone has a program list in their hands, and everyone knows that after the Sunshine Boy, the next one to go on stage is Miss Luo Quan! ===== CHAPTER 291 =====
