Chapter 789: The Year Is Not Easy

After pushing the program "Inheriting China" to its peak for the authorities, all of Miss Luo Quan's tasks for this year were successfully completed.

"Joker" was still in hot release, having harvested 1.5 billion US dollars in global box office, causing an extremely enthusiastic response, with major media outlets competing to report on it, and the impact on society was very profound.

"The Walking Dead" had also been updated to the sixth episode, the plot was gradually entering a good state, the worldview was slowly unfolding, and the images of various characters were also imprinted in the hearts of the audience, changing because of the joys, sorrows, and joys of the characters in the play.

Currently, both the movie and the TV series had received high scores of over 9.2; calling them divine dramas was not an exaggeration at all.

And the "Harry Potter" movie that was agreed to be filmed next year hadn't even had the script written, and the actors hadn't been decided, yet several film companies had already come to the door wanting to invest.

Such as Warner, Disney, Paramount, and Fox, all of which were famous industry giants, all extended olive branches to Miss Luo Quan.

However, those who knew her temper understood that no matter how diligently the olive branches were handed over, they couldn't compete with Universal.

There was no way; the relationship was good, friends and younger brothers were all at Universal, the price given wasn't bad, and every movie promotion was done with full effort; she had absolutely no reason to take "Harry Potter" to other companies to film.

So the contract was actually signed a long time ago, it just hadn't been made public yet.

Although Universal hadn't seen the script for "Harry Potter" yet and didn't know what kind of movie it was.

But as long as Miss Luo Quan was filming it, they were completely at ease.

Now everyone knew that everything Miss Luo Quan engaged in commercially had never lost money.

If she were to establish a public offering fund company now, it is estimated that everyone would be unable to wait to hand their money to her and let her dominate it.

Letting her engage in investment, the probability of making money is estimated to be not much lower than eating bank interest.

This is Miss Luo Quan's reputation worldwide at present.

And as the work she had high hopes for next year, there would definitely be no problem with the quality of "Harry Potter."

So Universal trusted Miss Luo Quan unconditionally and gave her the top-level treatment, which was a return for her favor.

As 2019 was about to end, the world stock market was still not very prosperous, seemingly falling all the time, looking like a financial crisis was coming.

And against this background, domestic internet financial lending experienced a thunderstorm, countless retail investors' savings of many years were instantly lost, and the bosses of lending companies who controlled a large amount of funds fled with the money; it was almost impossible to get it back.

Because the loss from this thunderstorm exceeded tens of billions, the impact caused was very large, so it became a major internet hot spot at the end of the year, and even the popularity of the Martial Arts Alliance Leader Assembly was suppressed for a few days.

However, hot is hot, but the money lost by those retail investors definitely couldn't be recovered. During that period, almost every day people jumped off buildings or into rivers because of this matter.

Engaging in venture capital is like this; although the return is indeed much more than putting it in the bank to eat dead interest, once something goes wrong, the loss is huge.

Miss Luo Quan had also experienced such a painful event in Japan before.

The protagonist was not her.

At that time, two employees of Sony Corporation lost their pensions by speculating on stocks and jumped off the building on the roof of her building in despair.

Miss Luo Quan heard the movement and went upstairs to persuade them down, and was praised by the media for a while.

But she only saved these two, and there were actually more than a dozen people who jumped off the building that day; after watching the news, she was also sad for a period of time.

But there was no way; after all, she wasn't Superman and couldn't appear anywhere she was needed at any time.

Therefore, for news about losing money due to investment and stock speculation, she would never comment on it.

It was just to avoid causing secondary harm to those retail investors who had already suffered heavy losses.

Maybe someone's psychological defense was about to reach the limit and wanted to watch her live broadcast to adjust their mindset.

As a result, they happened to see her live broadcast mocking and satirizing, and it is estimated that if they couldn't think it through, they would go to the rooftop directly.

Therefore, when such things happened, she would mainly talk about relaxed topics during her live broadcasts.

2020 was coming soon. Although the refugee crisis in Europe was intensifying and there was a trend of developing into a long-term contradiction.

Shootings and zero-dollar shopping in the United States were also becoming increasingly rampant.

But China was still quite stable.

Although so many martial artists emerged in the second half of the year, the Martial Arts Alliance Leader Assembly attracted them all, so it didn't cause much impact on social security.

But no matter whether 2019 was good or bad, it was about to become the past tense anyway.

I don't know whether 2020 will be good or bad, but the new year always makes people feel hopeful.

Of course, except for the French.

As the investigation into Notre-Dame de Paris continued, more and more details were exposed.

For example, several cultural relics were actually transferred a week before the fire occurred.

After all, there were many cultural relics in Notre-Dame de Paris; if they were stolen in one night, there wouldn't be enough time.

So these people simply acted in advance, transferring a little bit every day.

After transferring almost everything, they burned it clean with one fire.

It is worth mentioning that the police officers who should have taken responsibility for investigating this matter were either slacking off or destroying evidence with clumsy methods throughout the process.

In the end, the unbearable public went to act as detectives themselves to investigate the truth behind the incident.

It is said that many of these people have received death threats and have been attacked.

Two were even beaten to the point of hospitalization, but the police announcement was that it was a robbery on the road, and the robbers were refugees.

However, the refugees ran back to the refugee area, there was no surveillance, so no one knew who it was.

This means of shifting contradictions might not have been useful at ordinary times.

But now the local French people and refugees were at odds, so they really succeeded in shifting it.

This caused Paris, which already had constant small conflicts, to have group fighting cases one after another.

Such a complex and confusing environment, I am afraid that even if Sherlock Holmes were resurrected, he would have a headache.

And those ordinary people who had no professional knowledge at all, it was almost impossible to find the truth.

It is already very lucky that no one has died now.

Fortunately, France used the past as a warning, making other countries increase the importance and protection of cultural relics.

In China, any larger museum would arrange for police to patrol to prevent accidents.

Actually, the public didn't know that the Imperial Jade Seal had already been swapped, and the original body had turned into a white cat squatting beside Miss Luo Quan.

When it was taken away by a family in the capital, its posture was even more arrogant than everything that happened in Notre-Dame de Paris.

However, arrogant people often have miserable endings.

Currently, that noble family has been removed from the list in the capital, and the various industries of the family are quite pessimistic.

Stealing national treasures, no matter who dares to do this, ten heads are not enough to cut off.

The only person in the world who can legally possess the Imperial Jade Seal is Miss Luo Quan.

And the Imperial Jade Seal only recognizes her, but not many people know about this.

"Spring Festival Gala?"

Miss Luo Quan, who was live broadcasting, saw the question about the Spring Festival Gala in the barrage and smiled: "It is estimated that I won't be on it."

New Year's Day is approaching, and the program for the Spring Festival Gala has also begun to be prepared.

However, because she had already gone to Studio 1 to record a program last time, she didn't plan to go again this time.

It was hard to spend the Chinese New Year in the country with her mother this time, and she didn't want to run to the capital to toss for so long again.

"Why not go? It's so prestigious to be on the Spring Festival Gala."

"Actually, it's just like that; Miss Luo Quan's current fame no longer needs the blessing of the Spring Festival Gala."

"If Miss Luo Quan also live broadcasts on New Year's Eve, I will definitely watch her here and not the Spring Festival Gala."

"That's true, Miss Luo Quan is better to watch than the Spring Festival Gala."

"I don't want to be lectured and sentimentalized by sketches during the New Year, and the key is that the way of sentimentalizing is so awkward."

"It should have been a joyful and happy moment, but they always want to give us values; I don't know what the director is thinking."

………………

It can be seen that the fans have a great resentment towards the Spring Festival Gala.

Miss Luo Quan also explained: "Originally I planned to go this time, and the program was already conceived, but there was a temporary variety show "Inheriting China" that asked me to go and fill the scene.

This matter was not easy to push, but it was too sudden and there was no preparation, so I could only take the performance originally arranged for the Spring Festival Gala to this program.

So it's not that I don't want to go to the Spring Festival Gala, it's mainly because there's no act."

The barrage replied one after another:

"No act? If there's no act, I suggest biting a lighter."

"Still biting a lighter, be careful of being banned for a month, and having money deducted."

"To be fair, if 'Huo Yuanjia' and 'Red Diva' were performed on the stage of the Spring Festival Gala, the effect should be even more out of the circle."

"After all, such a wonderful program cannot be thought of casually."

"So Luo Bao, are you live broadcasting on New Year's Eve?"

"How to spend the New Year's Day holiday?"

………………

Seeing the questions in the barrage, Miss Luo Quan replied: "On New Year's Eve, I will definitely accompany my family to watch the Spring Festival Gala. We scold it every year, but we still have to watch it every year. It's mainly because all channels are broadcasting the Spring Festival Gala, and there is no other choice.

As for the New Year's Day holiday, since you asked, I will tell you a good news, that is, the development of "Overwatch" is very fast.

Originally, it was planned to start A-testing during the New Year, but because the progress was too smooth, A-testing can be carried out on New Year's Day.

Like World of Warcraft, A-testing opens 100,000 spots, with three servers in China, the United States, and Europe, and more will be added after the official opening."

As soon as this was said, the barrage became excited instantly:

"Damn, it's done so quickly?"

"Less than four months, I'm a little worried about the quality of the game."

"This time I will directly pack an internet cafe; with three hundred computers, I don't believe I can't grab a test code!"

"Good guy, are you that fierce?"

"I hope this game can have more new ideas; World of Warcraft has been brushed for a year, and I'm a little tired of it."

"Multiplayer confrontation is definitely durable, but the key depends on what the core gameplay is like."

"Looking forward to it."

………………

The early completion of "Overwatch" indeed brought huge surprises to the fans.

And Miss Luo Quan herself didn't expect it to be so fast.

After asking Li Jiang, she found out that the Blizzard studio now has nearly two thousand people.

After Resident Evil was done, except for some old employees responsible for the development of the new version of World of Warcraft, the remaining thousand or so people were all putting their efforts into making Overwatch.

These new employees hadn't achieved any results yet, and with such good benefits, they were naturally full of fighting spirit.

Especially the general manager Li Jiang, who was very good at drawing big cakes, describing Overwatch as a competitive online game that could be mentioned in the same breath as League of Legends, and he led by example, working with all employees.

So the atmosphere of the entire company was made like a production workshop.

Miss Luo Quan had originally said that there was no need to work overtime, ensuring that the game could be A-tested in the first quarter of next year.

Who knew that these people were so capable, and they made the test version before the end of the year.

Although Unreal Engine has advantages such as being easy to get started and rapid modeling.

And she alone solved a series of difficulties such as character values, site structure, lines, background, music, and gameplay.

But making it so fast is indeed a bit outrageous.

After Miss Luo Quan got the news, she repeatedly emphasized that Li Jiang must give employees a holiday on New Year's Day, and don't come back without resting for seven full days.

Doing this is definitely not okay, it's easy to have accidents.

Current programmers are more involutionary than the next, staying up late and working overtime is as common as drinking water, all of them are ruthless people who only sleep four or five hours a day.

Miss Luo Quan extremely disapproves of destroying the body to exchange for work efficiency, and does not allow her company to have such a situation.

Before something happens, no one will know about these things.

But once something happens, the public opinion will be overwhelming, and no one can hold it.

To be honest, Li Jiang's ability is indeed very strong, and his speech is very infectious, which can drive employees.

It's just that he works too hard; if she doesn't watch, maybe he can really turn Blizzard Studio into a sweatshop model.

But no matter what, the game was completed ahead of schedule, and she was the biggest beneficiary.

So for the year-end bonus, she gave the employees enough weight, nearly half higher than other companies.

And seven days of paid leave for New Year's Day, and she prepared to give everyone a big red envelope during the Chinese New Year.

The company's efficiency is currently in the first tier of the domestic game industry; Final Fantasy sold 30 million copies, and Resident Evil also broke 18 million in sales.

And World of Warcraft has become a hit with the fifth highest popularity in online games, with profits of hundreds of millions every quarter.

These are actually the results of the employees and her working together.

And the hard work they put in is much more than her own.

So giving more rewards is completely worth it.

And using such a company culture for promotion can also be more competitive when recruiting new people.

In short, the news that "Overwatch" is about to be tested has spread.

There are seven days left until New Year's Day, and countless game fans and fans are all rubbing their hands, wanting to try this innovative online game that Miss Luo Quan calls a gunfight MOBA.

Three days before New Year's Day, the introduction video of the characters in the game was released in advance.

The "Double Dragon" CG hit the hot searches on Bilibili, Weibo, and Zhihu. ===== CHAPTER 790 =====
