Chapter 254: The Agreement with Tianshui Academy

"Kill you all! The soul bone is mine!"

As the Captain's emotions fluctuated violently, the entire seven-colored mist began to boil, and the power of the illusion increased several times over.

But within the Illusion Space where Qin Jian and the other six were, everyone was extremely clear-headed and not affected in the slightest.

"Sigh, even cannon fodder has a trump card..."

Qin Jian smiled and said, "Rongrong, let them witness our Martial Soul Fusion Skill, the upgraded version of Ocean's Tear."

Ning Rongrong pouted upon hearing this: "When you use a Martial Soul Fusion Skill with Huo Wu, you hug her, but with me, you only hold hands..."

Huang Yuan, Tailong, and Jing Ling: "..."

This is a soul battle, a life-or-death crisis, can you be more serious?

Xiao Wu put her hands on her hips: "Rongrong, you can't possibly want that too, right?"

Zhu Zhuqing watched coldly from the sidelines.

"I do want it!" said Ning Rongrong.

Qin Jian felt ashamed, and had no choice but to turn and pull Ning Rongrong into his arms.

"I also want a kiss," Ning Rongrong said, tilting her head back and closing her eyes.

He had no resistance against her acting spoiled, so he had to kiss her with his back turned to the two Lemon Spirits behind them.

"Hum! Hum!"

The moment their lips met, the Ocean's Tear on their foreheads suddenly flickered, and a cool ripple swept through their entire bodies, permeating into the depths of their spirits.

Their martial souls fused at high speed, and a blue-purple Sword Tower appeared in their eyes; simultaneously, through the link of the Illusion Space, the Sword Tower also appeared in the eyes of Zhu Zhuqing, Xiao Wu, Tailong, Huang Yuan, and Jing Ling.

"Ah! ——"

The churning Seven Shura Illusion stopped in that very instant, as if it had suffered a heavy blow; the seven people screamed in unison, and then there was not a sound left.

This was the upgraded version of Qin Jian and Ning Rongrong's Martial Soul Fusion Skill under the bonus of Ocean's Tear: mental defense and rebound.

When Ning Rongrong was fusing with the illusion soul bone, Qin Jian provided mental support through Ocean's Tear, unintentionally awakening this mental defense Martial Soul Fusion Skill.

"Mental backlash; they won't die, but they will definitely become idiots..."

Qin Jian said urgently: "Now is the time for everyone to perform, don't give the game away!"

The six nodded solemnly.

"Bang bang bang bang bang bang..."

Qin Jian gave each of them a palm strike, and they cooperated by forcing themselves to spit out blood under the attack.

"Being ruthless enough to not only hit teammates... but also oneself... this is all learned from that guy Xiao San, it's not that I'm naturally devious... don't hold it against me later..."

He curled his lip and slammed the final palm strike onto his own chest...

"Hoo..."

The colorful light receded, everything around them became clear again, and that massive seven-colored pillar of light simply vanished into thin air.

Of the fourteen people originally on the arena, only one was standing at this moment, and that was Qin Jian.

The sight of the other six members of the Shrek Academy team spitting blood was captured by the audience just as the colorful light vanished, and as they watched them collapse to the ground one by one, it was clear they had lost the ability to fight.

As for their opponents, the seven members of the Canghui Academy team had long since left their previous positions and were now in seven different directions on the arena.

At this moment, these seven people had also fallen to the ground.

Unlike the Shrek Academy group, their bodies were convulsing violently on the ground, foaming at the mouth, with their eyes rolled back, as if they were having a seizure.

"Wow!"

A great uproar broke out; whether in the spectator stands or the VIP boxes, everything was in chaos.

The slap in the face came too quickly; those audience members who had been so certain that Canghui Academy was invincible were now all dumbfounded.

"Sh... Shrek... Academy... wins!"

When the referee announced the final result, their body was even trembling slightly.

The Shrek Qiren walked off the stage supporting each other, limping, performing the appearance of being heavily injured very professionally.

"The organizers owe us an Oscar..."

Before Qin Jian could finish his sentence, Oscar, who had rushed over to support them, was full of question marks: "What what? What do you mean the organizers owe you an... me?"

Qin Jian: "..."

Subsequently, the tournament organizing committee did indeed launch an investigation under the insistence of Salas, but because of the guidance of the cheating expert Flender, Qin Jian's performance was flawless.

Coupled with Grandmaster's Pope's Order, they passed the review without any danger.

"You should forfeit the next two matches; you still need to give the organizing committee a way to save face."

In the lounge, Grandmaster was arranging the subsequent matches.

Of course, while it was called an arrangement, he was actually seeking Qin Jian's opinion.

After all, having fought these matches, Grandmaster's tactics and such had barely been utilized, which left him with no confidence to command Qin Jian.

Fortunately, this time Qin Jian's opinion was the same as his.

"If we want to continue hiding the rest of you, then we certainly can't have a team fight against Thunder or Kamikaze, that would be a fight to the death..."

Qin Jian said with a chuckle: "It just so happens that we have a perfect excuse now; we'll fake injuries and skip the matches."

Just like that, a few days later, the preliminary round quickly reached the final round.

Qin Jian felt his scalp tingle just looking at this round's opponent.

Tianshui Academy!

"Hey, how do you plan to fight us in this match?"

Before the match even started, Xue Wu had already come to the Shrek Academy waiting area.

"How do you want to fight?" Qin Jian stroked his forehead.

The gazes of the others behind him fell upon him strangely; clearly, they also knew that the Tianshui Academy team had a deep relationship with him.

Just how deep it goes, they aren't very clear, because Shui Bing'er and the others have never called him Captain in front of everyone; at most, they only know that the Tianshui Team's vice-captain Shui Bing'er is Qin Jian's ex-girlfriend.

"A man who wins the world by relying on his ex-girlfriend..."

Oscar sighed up at the sky, about to act up again, but ended up being cornered by Zhu Zhuqing.

"Zhuqing, I wasn't talking about you, ow!"

His survival instinct was very strong, but he was still kicked flying...

The others: "..."

"This time, Bing'er wants to have a proper battle with you," Xue Wu said.

Qin Jian frowned slightly: "How could Bing'er..."

Xue Wu spread her hands and said: "None of us want to go against you, it's just that Huo Wu has been feeling down lately for some reason, and Bing'er found out about some bet you all made..."

Swish, swish, swish...

Three Lemon Spirits looked over.

"So on a whim, Bing'er wants to make one with you too, and we all agreed to it..."

A strange light flickered in Xue Wu's eyes: "That is... if we win, you must help us fight one match in your subsequent competitions."

"???"

The people from Shrek Academy didn't understand at all.

Qin Jian blinked: "Doesn't this violate the rules?"

Xue Wu smoothed her short hair and said smugly: "We've studied this; it counts as a loophole in the rules, and exploiting it once definitely won't be a problem."

"What does Instructor Zhineng say?" Qin Jian asked again.

Xue Wu smiled: "Instructor Zhineng naturally agreed; she is also looking forward to it!"

"Since that's the case, then we'll take the bet!"

Qin Jian said: "If you really win, then I must satisfy this wish of yours, but if you lose..."

He was just about to say that if they lost, it would depend on his mood, and he might help them fight a match anyway.

But Xue Wu turned and walked away: "Don't forget we know you particularly well, and your last two soul skills have also been completely exposed; they're of no use against us. Want to win? It's not that easy..."
