Chapter 669: It's Not Mommy's Fault

Jiang Baobao did not dare to even breathe loudly, staring fixedly at the Doctor, waiting for his answer.

Immediately after, she saw that the Doctor's expression was much more relaxed than last time.

"Congratulations to you both, we have detected that the abnormal cells and toxins in the patient's body are slowly returning to normal; it shouldn't be long before she wakes up."

"Really?"

Jiang Baobao let out a sudden sigh of relief, and for a moment, she simply couldn't believe what she had heard.

Cai Xiaotang, however, had already jumped up, excitedly grabbing Jiang Baobao's hand.

"Baobao! Did you hear that! Tiantian is fine! She will be able to wake up very soon! You don't have to worry anymore!"

Cai Xiaotang also couldn't help but cry tears of joy, hurriedly reaching out to wipe the tears from the corners of her eyes.

The few of them thanked the Doctor and then hurriedly moved the little girl back to the ward to look after her carefully.

In an instant, Li Beijue, Cai Xiaotang, and Li Xiao all crowded over.

The few adults all stared with tense expressions at the little one on the bed who still had her eyes closed.

"Tiantian? Tiantian?"

Jiang Baobao tentatively called out twice.

As soon as the words fell, she saw Tiantian's eyelashes tremble slightly, as if there were signs of her waking up.

"Tiantian..."

Jiang Baobao hurriedly called out again, subconsciously holding her breath.

Immediately following... she saw the little girl who had been in a deep sleep for over three days finally slowly open her eyes.

"Tiantian! You're finally awake! You scared Mommy to death!"

After she finished speaking, she saw the little girl gently nod her head.

"Mommy..."

Tiantian whispered, her voice sounding a bit hoarse.

Jiang Baobao hurriedly answered: "Mommy is here, baby, Mommy is right here..."

As she spoke, she hurriedly used a small spoon to scoop up some water and fed it to Tiantian's lips.

"Tiantian, is there anywhere else you feel uncomfortable?"

"Daddy..."

"We are in the Hospital."

Jiang Baobao answered with a smile, sitting by the bedside and letting Tiantian lie in her arms.

Tiantian's big eyes scanned the room, then she suddenly grabbed Jiang Baobao's hand tightly and asked: "Then... have the bad guys been beaten away by Daddy and Mommy? I'm not dreaming, am I..."

The little girl's tone was still somewhat incredulous.

"You aren't dreaming; Daddy and Mommy have already brought you back."

"Mommy... I thought I would never see Daddy and Mommy again..."

Tiantian cried like rain on a pear blossom, her tears soaking Jiang Baobao's clothes.

"Alright, why are the two of you still hugging and crying? You should be happy right now."

Seeing the two of them crying in a heap, Cai Xiaotang hurriedly stepped forward to comfort them, forgetting that her own eye sockets were also red.

The big one and the little one hugged together, venting their emotions for a good while before finally stopping.

Tiantian stopped crying, and her stomach let out a loud "wail," instantly making everyone in the room laugh.

"Baby, are you hungry?"

Jiang Baobao wiped her tears, amusedly pinching the little girl's cheek.

Tiantian obediently agreed.

Li Xiao and Li Beijue had already turned and walked out the door to have someone prepare some food.

Not long after, steaming hot white porridge, light shrimp, and vegetables were brought over.

Tiantian had been in a coma for several days and had long been starving; in less than ten minutes, she quickly finished the food in front of her, and her complexion looked much better than before.

"Baby, do you want to sleep a little longer?"

Jiang Baobao was worried that her body had not yet recovered and wanted her to rest for a while.

Tiantian, however, shook her head, her small hand tightly holding onto Jiang Baobao.

"I want to chat with Mommy; I missed Mommy so much..."

The little girl clung to Jiang Baobao, acting spoiled, her big eyes blinking, making Jiang Baobao's heart almost melt.

Jiang Baobao simply stayed to chat with her, and for fear that she would recall the bad memories of these past few days, she deliberately did not mention what had happened.

But before they had said much, Tiantian took the initiative and asked, "Mommy, why did the bad people want to kidnap me..."

Jiang Baobao was stunned upon hearing this, paused for a long moment, and then replied helplessly, "Because the bad people wanted to make Daddy and Mommy worry about you, that's why they kidnapped you.
