Chapter 4

Nfirea turned to look at the small old lady walking over, an embarrassed expression appearing on his face: "Grandmother."

"This is no place for you to be kind-hearted."

"Taking advantage of this time for the 'Imperial Tournament,' buying and collecting medicinal herbs is what you should be doing."

Lizzie had her hands behind her back, her wrinkled cheeks carrying an impatient expression, and she spoke in a slightly angry tone.

"Yes, Grandmother."

Nfirea reached out and scratched his short golden hair, saying in a small voice.

Hearing the brief conversation between the two, Tang Zheng finally understood why this pair of grandparents, who should have been in the frontier city of "E-Rantel," appeared in the royal capital.

This thought flashed through his mind.

Tang Zheng tried his best to keep his calm demeanor.

Don't look at Nfirea's grandmother Lizzie as just a small, unremarkable old lady; she didn't even have much presence in the anime.

But this person was the most famous pharmacist in "E-Rantel" and was a real third-tier magic caster.

Calculated by level, it should be at the level of 15 or above; placed among humans, she could be considered a formidable figure.

At the very least, the current Tang Zheng absolutely couldn't afford to provoke her.

Lizzie's gaze landed on Tang Zheng, first looking at the short sword hanging at his waist, then glancing at Tang Zheng's slightly muscular arm.

"Let's go, Nfirea." Lizzie withdrew her gaze expressionlessly, turned around with her hands behind her back, and left.

"Okay, Grandmother."

Nfirea hurriedly agreed, turned, and took a step toward the street, then his figure paused in hesitation, turned back around, and looked at Tang Zheng:

"You must be here to watch the match between Mr. Gazef and Mr. Brain, right? I heard the price of seats in the arena is very expensive."

"Um, take this waterskin first; if you eat rye bread without soaking it in water, it's very easy to choke."

Nfirea spoke while untying a waterskin hanging from his waist and handing it to Tang Zheng.

This guy... is a bit annoying,

Tang Zheng's cheeks twitched; if he didn't truly understand Nfirea's personality, facing such sudden kindness from a stranger would easily make one vigilant.

Not to mention.

As an orphan, Tang Zheng had never liked this kind of inexplicable kindness.

"No..."

Tang Zheng had just prepared to refuse, but Nfirea had already taken the waterskin and shoved it into Tang Zheng's hand.

The sudden action!

Made Tang Zheng's expression change slightly.

It wasn't because of Nfirea's action of shoving the waterskin at him, but because at the moment the two made contact, the attribute panel suddenly displayed information.

*Hum—*

*Contact with special dual-basic class holder—Alchemist (Genius), Pharmacist (Genius). Triggered general class acquisition condition. *

*Acquire general class "Genius." Do you wish to take this class? *

*Note! This class is a general class and cannot provide attribute bonuses. *

Tang Zheng saw the information displayed on the panel, and his arm couldn't help but tremble slightly.

In the game "Yggdrasil," combat classes were divided into basic classes, intermediate classes, and high/special classes; besides these, there were also non-combat general classes.

It could also be understood as production classes!

For example, Pharmacist, Alchemist, Blacksmith, Farmer, Merchant, etc., which didn't help directly in combat and belonged to logistics personnel classes.

And in the other world.

General classes didn't just include production classes; they also included many classes that didn't exist in the game at all, such as: Slave, Maid, Noble, Prince, King, Princess, etc.

These general classes were even worse than production classes; classes like "Prince" or "Noble" were innate, while classes like "Slave" were automatically obtained during the later process. This was also the fundamental difference between people of the other world and players.

Players could actively choose whether to take a class, while people of the other world would automatically acquire relevant classes due to different life experiences, even if the person themselves didn't want to.

"Take the class!"

With almost no hesitation, Tang Zheng hurriedly thought silently in his heart.

Tang Zheng, who had just been conflicted about choosing a basic warrior class or a basic caster class, didn't hesitate at all to choose a general class that didn't help combat in the slightest.

It could be seen at this moment!

The excitement in Tang Zheng's heart.

General classes indeed had no direct help for strength improvement, but that didn't mean that in the other world, these general classes that didn't exist in the game were all trash.

*Class taken successfully—Genius: 1lv*

*Genius (General): This class can replace any basic class and general class, and can change into the required class according to demand. *

*Note: Due to the special nature of this class, leveling up will not increase basic attributes, and it does not carry class characteristics after changing classes. *

Tang Zheng looked at the displayed information, suppressing the excitement in his heart.

"Are you okay?"

Nfirea looked at Tang Zheng, who was tightly gripping his palm, his emotions suddenly changing, and spoke with some confusion and worry.

"Sorry, thank you." Tang Zheng heard the inquiry, came back to his senses, hurriedly released his palm, took the waterskin, and spoke earnestly at the same time.

This thanks was real!

"It's okay."

Nfirea didn't notice anything, nodded at Tang Zheng, turned, and walked away quickly.

Watching Nfirea's departing figure, Tang Zheng took a deep breath, excitement flashing in his eyes.

He didn't expect that he could accidentally obtain this super-rare general class!

Possessing the "Genius" class, Tang Zheng didn't need to worry about the choice of basic classes at all, and he had one less big trouble in terms of class construction.

Most importantly, the class fault tolerance rate was greatly improved!

As far as Tang Zheng knew, besides himself, there was one other person in this world who possessed the "Genius" class, and that was the Golden Princess of the Re-Estize Kingdom, Renner.

Calling her the "Fallen Princess" was actually also fine.

The other party's "Princess (General)" class was transformed from "Genius (General)."

This super-rare, uncommon general class was actually somewhat wasted in the hands of the Golden Princess, or rather, in the hands of humans of the other world.

Only in the hands of a player could this class truly exert its power.

Tang Zheng suddenly felt a sense of relief in his heart, as if a tight string had been loosened.

The somewhat desperate mood he had felt all along had faded a lot; although he had only taken a general class, Tang Zheng suddenly didn't feel so bewildered about the future.

"I did obtain another important piece of information."

Tang Zheng's eyes shone somewhat.

Contacting Nfirea actually triggered the condition for taking a general class; this was something that surprised Tang Zheng.

Plus the fact that touching weapons could also trigger classes, he had already learned two important pieces of class-taking information for the Talent "Player."

However!

Judging from the fact that he only obtained a general class and didn't obtain the Alchemist or Pharmacist classes, normal contact with others shouldn't be able to trigger class taking.

"Is it entirely because Nfirea has the dual 'Genius' characteristics of Alchemist (Genius) and Pharmacist (Genius) that this accidentally triggered the general class 'Genius'?"

Tang Zheng thought thoughtfully.
