Chapter 1148: Expressionless

After considering it, Lan Mei got up and walked out of the office, came to the door of the Planning Division office next door, pushed the door open, and said expressionlessly: "Xia Jian, come here." After saying this, she returned to the office.

Xia Jian was stunned for a moment, got up somewhat uneasily, came to the door of Lan Mei's office, knocked on the door twice, and pushed the door open. Seeing Lan Mei's cold and ruthless expression, Xia Jian didn't know how this difficult woman wanted to punish him again. He felt uneasy and said with a fawning smile: "Division Chief Lan, what... what instructions do you have for me?"

"Little Xia, I'm going on a business trip tomorrow and might not be back for ten days or half a month. You will be fully responsible for the affairs of the Planning Division while I'm away," Lan Mei said directly while leaning on the chair.

Xia Jian had no interest in the first half of Lan Mei's sentence, but the second half made him feel confident and crazy. He nodded repeatedly with joy and said: "Alright, alright, Division Chief Lan, don't worry, I will definitely be responsible for the work of the Planning Division and will definitely not cause you any trouble."

Seeing Xia Jian's high spirits, Lan Mei knew that this guy had always wanted to be a leader, so let him experience whether being a leader was as simple as he thought this time. She smiled lightly, picked up the listed work list, handed it to him, and said: "This is the work the Planning Division has to do recently. I have listed a list. You compare it and complete it for me one by one. Don't cause any trouble. I will check it when I come back."

Xia Jian took the list without even looking at it, nodded repeatedly with a fawning smile, and said: "Division Chief Lan, don't worry, I will definitely complete the task successfully. You can go with peace of mind."

Lan Mei leaned on the chair again and said with an extremely serious tone: "Little Xia, I will greet you in advance. While I am away, it is absolutely not allowed for any disharmony to appear among you. If I find out, I will take you to trial first when I come back. You must know that you are acting as my role when I am away. If you can't even manage others well, I think you have worked in vain for these years."

"Division Chief Lan, don't worry, I will definitely manage others well and will definitely not cause any trouble," Xia Jian said uncontrollably.

Seeing his uncontrollable joy, Lan Mei poured a basin of cold water on him: "Are you so happy? It's just letting you temporarily replace me for a few days, and you are so happy? If you want to really be this Division Chief, then you have to show some of your skills. These few days when I'm not here are also a good opportunity for you to show yourself." ===== CHAPTER 1149 =====
