Chapter 1174

Zhao Desan's fanning of the flames last night made Su Qing unable to sleep all night. She thought that as the Minister of the Organization Department, there were already many male officials in the province who were dissatisfied with her. Now, if someone within the Organization Department didn't put her in their eyes, where would her prestige and dignity as the Minister of the Organization Department be? If this continued, she might be hollowed out by Li Changping. The next morning, as soon as she arrived at the Organization Department, Su Qing went directly to teach Li Changping a lesson. When she aggressively pushed open his office door, Li Changping was not inside, so she walked straight in, sat on the sofa, crossed her legs, and her face was full of dark clouds, looking extremely angry.

After a while, Li Changping returned from the restroom. As soon as he walked in, he saw Su Qing sitting in his office, so he smiled fawningly and said, "Minister Su, do you have something for me?"

"Slap!" Su Qing slapped the tea table hard with her hand, shaking the purple clay tea set on it. She glared at Li Changping with anger, her face full of fury, and shouted sternly, "Li Changping, you have such big guts! Do you still have me, this Minister, in your eyes!"

Li Changping was a bit at a loss by Su Qing's sudden outburst of rage. His expression was a bit awkward, and he asked with a slight smile, "Minister... Minister Su, what... what happened?"

"Li Changping, I ask you, did you notify me about the transfer of Ma Debang of the Provincial Construction Committee? Did you get my consent? You have seized all the power now, right? You dare to overstep your authority? If you, Li Changping, have such great ability, you can pull me, Su Qing, down from my horse now, and the position of Minister is yours to sit! Let's see if you have that ability!" Su Qing shouted sternly, full of fury. Staff members passing by the office door with documents saw Su Qing in such a rage and hurriedly walked away.

When Li Changping heard that it was Su Qing who knew about Ma Debang being transferred away, he immediately bowed his waist and explained, "Minister Su, don't misunderstand. I was afraid you were too busy with work. Ma Debang's transfer was also agreed upon by the Personnel Department. I thought you wouldn't oppose it either."

Su Qing tightened her face, knitted her eyebrows, stared at Li Changping with eyes like shuttles, laughed with a "humph," and said word by word, "Afraid I'm too busy with work? You think I would agree? You are quite good at considering for others now, even making decisions for me. Li Changping, your guts are not small! You actually dare to overstep your authority now!"

Li Changping bowed his waist and hurriedly explained, "Minister Su, I didn't overstep my authority. Please don't misunderstand. It was my dereliction of duty that I didn't greet you in advance about this matter. After Ma Debang's transfer order went down yesterday, I was prepared to call you, but you went to a meeting in the afternoon, and I didn't have time to tell you. As for Ma Debang being transferred away, there is a reason. As far as I know, it seems Ma Debang was greedy for a sum of money in the Construction Committee's procurement bidding, which was discovered by Zheng Liangyu. Fearing that it would bring trouble to the Construction Committee, he let Ma Debang leave the Construction Committee. Minister Su, you have to know that this is something you would definitely agree to transfer Ma Debang for." ===== CHAPTER 1175 =====
