Chapter 1227: Full of Schemes

Because Ma Li had been at home for a long time and was not as full of schemes as people in government units, and would not be on guard or keep an eye on things, she was not on guard at all against Zhao Desan's premeditated questions. She nodded and said: "He never tells me what he does outside or what happens in the unit. I don't want to ask him either. It's meaningless."

Zhao Desan didn't think so. Even if Zheng Tulu didn't say anything about Zheng Ru's promotion, Zheng Ru would definitely talk about it at home. So he pursued: "Then that means you don't know about the matter of our unit promoting someone to be a deputy director, Sister Ma?"

In this environment, Ma Li, lying in Zhao Desan's arms, didn't treat Zhao Desan as her daughter's competitor at all. So, without any guard, she told him about Zheng Tulu answering the phone this morning: "I heard Director Zhu of the Personnel Department call him this morning, saying it seems that the document will be issued next Monday." ===== CHAPTER 1228 =====
