Chapter 1249

As the sky had already darkened, Zhao Desan stepped forward and reached out to retrieve the stolen goods. Suddenly, the young man in black stabbed at him with a gleaming knife held in his right hand. Zhao Desan dodged, unsure if he had been struck, but decided his priority was to subdue the fellow first. He turned and delivered a spinning kick, knocking the knife from the young man's hand, then flew his knee up to pin the man's neck, simultaneously twisting his wrists behind his back and locking him down.

Just then, a passing police car pulled over to the side of the road. Two male officers stepped out, walked into the crowd, clarified the situation, and handcuffed the thief.

Zhao Desan picked up the wallet from the ground, handed it to the panting female college student who had caught up, and instructed, "Be more careful when taking public transport in the future."

The female student, breathing slightly with a fragrant scent, thanked him repeatedly: "Brother, thank you. If it weren't for you, the living expenses my family gave me for this semester would have been gone. Thank you so much."

The police clarified the situation, looked at him with admiring eyes, and asked, "Young man, what is your name?"

Zhao Desan looked at the circle of people surrounding them, lifted his chin, and said proudly, "Just call me Lei Feng!"

Thunderous applause immediately erupted all around. The middle-aged officer patted him on the shoulder with a smile and said, "A true Lei Feng. I am He Yuping from the Criminal Police Detachment of the Xijing Municipal Public Security Bureau. If you need anything in the future, you can come find me." As he spoke, he extended his hand. Seeing this, Zhao Desan quickly reached out to shake it and said with a grin, "Sounds good, sounds good."

The thief was taken away, and the crowd gradually dispersed, but the female student remained standing in place, head bowed, unwilling to leave. "What's wrong? Did you lose something else?" Zhao Desan asked, bowing his head slightly to look at her. Because she was looking down, Zhao Desan couldn't see what the little sister looked like, though her figure was quite tall and slender; however, her chest didn't seem fully developed, likely something one could grasp with a single hand.

"No, Brother. May I know your name?" The female student raised her head. Only then did Zhao Desan see that she wore black-rimmed glasses, had straight bangs, long, slender eyebrows, dark and bright eyes, a small mouth, a petite and straight nose, a pointed chin, and fair, translucent skin. She looked very cute and belonged to the loli type of beauty. ===== CHAPTER 1250 =====
