Chapter 144: What to Do!

Although there were only three people in the group, the first and second leaders were still sitting in two cars. Li Shanshan was naturally sitting in Director Zhang's car. When they arrived at Baishui Town, Mayor Wang and several other government officials welcomed Zhang Ai and Wang Anguo at the entrance of Baishui Town.

As a leader who came down from the Yuyang City Coal Bureau, Zhang Ai naturally had to show the appearance of inspecting work in the countryside. She politely declined Mayor Wang's kind invitation to go to the town government to sit and drink tea, saying: "Old Wang, let's not sit. Let's go directly to Xiagou Village and Heihe Village to take a look and understand the situation of the residents there. I'm here today on Vice Mayor Yu's mission."

Mayor Wang smiled flatteringly: "Director Zhang, don't be in such a hurry. The environment in Baishui Town is bad, and those two villages are half an hour away from the town by car. Moreover, the road conditions are very poor. Director Zhang and Deputy Director Wang's special cars are probably not able to run. That's it, Director Zhang, Deputy Director Wang, and Secretary Li, let's go to the town government to sit and rest and drink some tea first. I, Old Wang, will find an off-road vehicle for the three leaders."

Hearing this, Zhang Ai looked at Wang Wang Wang Wang Wang Wang Anguo and said: "Old Wang, what to do?"

Wang Wang Wang Wang Wang Wang Anguo accompanied with a smile and said: "Director Zhang, I listen to your arrangement."

Zhang Ai said to Mayor Wang with a smile: "Then Old Wang, Deputy Director Wang and I will listen to your arrangement."

Two Audi cars, one in front and one behind, slowly drove into the Baishui Town government compound and stopped. Mayor Wang hurriedly opened the car door for Director Zhang, respectfully welcomed her out of the car, took them to the lounge to sit down, and arranged for people to give Deputy Director Wang cigarettes and tea and water.

Mayor Wang was a shrewd person. He knew that these leaders from the city, regardless of which unit or department they were from, could crush him, a small town mayor, by grabbing any one of them. He also understood that the so-called leaders going to the countryside to inspect and guide work was mostly just driving out to relax, and most of the time was spent in the car. They didn't necessarily have to go to the site, and they didn't necessarily have to get out of the car when they went. Just take a look around, so he wasn't in a hurry to take Director Zhang and them to Xiaogou Village and Heihe Village, but sat down and flattered them with sweet words.

"Director Zhang, Deputy Director Wang, and Secretary Li, drink tea. The tea is not good, leaders, please bear with it." Mayor Wang bent over and smiled flatteringly.

Zhang Ai took a sip of tea and said: "Mayor Wang, the municipal party committee has completed the bidding work for the mining rights of Xiaogou Village and Heihe Village. The next step is the land acquisition and demolition work. Have you received the documents here?" ===== CHAPTER 146 =====
