Chapter 2408: Finally Made It

The next day, Zhao Desan got up very early. Because he was going to a new place to take office, he tidied himself up well and dressed brightly. After Su Qing got up following him, she saw a brand-new Zhao Desan, whose spirit showed his attitude toward the new job.

Su Qing couldn't help but look at him a few more times, let him wait for her in the living room, and she would send him to the district after washing up. It happened that the district was quite far, and it was inconvenient to take a taxi, so Zhao Desan readily agreed. After waiting in the living room for more than ten minutes, Su Qing finished washing up, and they walked out of the house together and drove him to the Chanba Development Zone.

Arriving at the district, Zhao Desan's first stop was not to go directly to the District Construction Committee to take office, but he needed to go to the District Party Committee to report to District Head Wu (who also served as the Secretary of the District Party Committee) first. These procedural things still needed to be perfected. After getting out of the car, Su Qing drove away. Today, Zhao Desan was specially wearing the slim-fit suit Lan Mei bought for him. Dressed in a suit and leather shoes, he looked refreshed and high-spirited, not at all like someone who had exhausted his energy in bed.

For him, this long wait had finally made it. Escaping from under the eyelids of that old fox Zheng Tulu, he felt extremely relaxed. The staff in the district probably knew that he was someone specially transferred by District Head Wu, so they appeared very enthusiastic toward him. After all the procedural formalities were completed, Zhao Desan was led to District Head Wu's office after a simple chat with Director Huang of the District Party Committee Personnel Department, and he introduced Zhao Desan's resume to District Head Wu in a serious manner.

Wu Min glanced at Zhao Desan. With Director Huang present, she also seemed to listen seriously as if it were the real thing. After Director Huang finished introducing, she politely said to Director Huang: "Alright, Director Huang, thank you for your trouble, you go busy with yours first, I want to have a good talk with Director Liu." Wu Min's address to Zhao Desan had changed to 'Director Liu', which made him stunned for a moment before he turned his brain.

Director Huang nodded and bowed as he pushed the door out. Before leaving, he politely waved at Zhao Desan. This treatment made Zhao Desan feel satisfied in his heart. Finally, he didn't have to be constrained everywhere like in the Provincial Construction Committee, looking at the faces of those old guys. Just as Director Huang pushed the door open and turned to walk out of District Head Wu's office, District Head Wu suddenly called him back and asked: "Director Huang, wait a moment, Director Liu is here to take office today, has the District Construction Committee side been arranged?" ===== CHAPTER 2409 =====
