Chapter 3218

Seeing Zhao Desan's hesitant appearance, Deputy Secretary-General Zhou frowned slightly and asked doubtfully, "Comrade Xiao Zhao, what is it? Why are you so hesitant? If you have something to say, just say it directly."

Zhao Desan scratched the back of his head, feeling at a loss, and looked at the puzzled Deputy Secretary-General Zhou with an embarrassed face, stuttering, "I... I wanted to tell you, I... I think I'd better not come to the provincial government to be your office director, right?"

"Why?" Deputy Secretary-General Zhou widened her eyes slightly, looking a bit surprised, but her tone didn't react much, appearing extremely calm.

Deputy Secretary-General Zhou's lack of a strong reaction made Zhao Desan feel a little more relaxed. He said intermittently, "I think... I think I'm doing quite well in the district now, and... and I've just adapted to the work in the district, just gotten the hang of it. I want... I want to make some contributions in the district. Otherwise... otherwise I would be letting down the expectations of the leaders above. Deputy Secretary-General Zhou, thank you for your intention to cultivate me. I appreciate your kindness, thank you..."

Deputy Secretary-General Zhou nodded while listening to the reasons for Zhao Desan's temporary rejection of his own idea, and the smile returned to her face. She said, "Oh, so that's how you're considering it. Not bad, you are a competent young cadre. Very good. Having this kind of thinking shows that you, Comrade Xiao Zhao, are a good cadre. You are teachable, very teachable!"
