Chapter 5: Let's Have a Baby?
Yeah, what does whether she eats or not have to do with him? She must be stupid, still trying to bargain with him over this.
"How can you let me see her?" Her eyes were full of coldness.
This woman, just a moment ago she was saying she believed his words, and now she doesn't believe him—could she really think he's capable of anything ruthless?!
He grabbed her in his arms, and under everyone's gaze, he headed straight for the second floor.
Since she asked like that, it's not his fault.
He sure has a lot of servants.
The first floor is already big enough to hold a concert, and there's the second floor too!
"Gu Die! Let go of me!" She struck him hard, but he had no reaction at all.
His face remained as cold as stone.
The servants all stared, dumbfounded, and none dared to call the Young Master by name.
She only felt embarrassed; as he went up the stairs, she didn't want to face the people downstairs, so she hurriedly buried her face in his chest.
He only felt a wave of her warmth against his chest.
Upon reaching the room, she tried to run, but he blocked her at the door and promptly shut it.
He wrapped one arm around her waist and braced the other hand against the wall, tightly enclosing her.
His eyes locked onto hers, a chill flickering in his pupils.
It was the first time a man had looked at her this closely, and his actions were so intimate!
For a moment, her face felt burning hot.
"What do you want to do?" she asked cautiously.
"You just asked how I could let you see your grandmother, didn't you? Do what needs to be done, and I'll let you see her." A wicked smile curled at the corner of his mouth.
"Don't mess around!" she said, feeling guilty yet also justified.
Seeing her like that, he felt like laughing; the woman who had been brandishing her claws downstairs was now like a little rabbit.
Suddenly, he pressed his lips to hers and sucked hard.
Before long, she found it hard to breathe, so she bit his lip.
This woman, does she only know how to bite?
Just as she was about to suffocate from his kiss, he released her and buried his head in her shoulder.
She gasped for air.
His hand, however, went to undo her clothes, and she was so frightened she stopped breathing.
"Don't! You rascal!" she shouted, cursing and hitting him.
"How am I a rascal? We signed the marriage agreement; we're practically husband and wife—isn't this something we should do?" He seized her hand.
"We haven't even gotten the marriage certificate!" she said weakly.
"What's a marriage certificate? Didn't you say you love me? And didn't you say I'm your boyfriend?"
His hand kept moving; wherever it passed, she felt a wave of heat.
"Isn't calling me 'dear' also something you do?"
She said she loved him, but he knows too! She's only doing it to spite Feng Wei—who let her keep calling her a wild tomboy!
Calling him her boyfriend is just brainless; she regrets it deeply—saying anyone is no good, yet she ended up with him!
But how could she not know to call him 'dear'?
"When did I ever call you 'dear'?"
"You called and then forgot? You kissed and then forgot?"
He slowly moved his lips to hers again.
She finally remembered: she had only ever called someone 'dear' once—could it be that the rascal she bumped into in the alley that night was him?!
That makes sense now—the person who got out of the car that day also addressed him as Young Master; back then it was dark, and she couldn't see what he looked like.
No wonder his kiss felt familiar, and even his scent.
"Are you that rascal?" her lips were blocked by his, so she could only utter a muffled sound.
"I clearly saved you, and yet you repay kindness with hatred!"
He ignored her, continuing to kiss her; he didn't know why, as if her kiss had some kind of magic.
Seeing him ignore her, he held her even tighter, and she returned the kiss.
He also felt it, and his doubts surged.
She knew he didn't love her; to deal with a rascal, you have to use a rascal's methods!
She directly reached out and touched his lower part.
Being touched made him shudder all over, and he immediately let go of her.
Seeing him actually flustered, she herself was no longer nervous.
"What's wrong, dear? Why don't we just have a baby soon?" She grabbed his loosened hand, pressed close, bit his lip, and began to take off his clothes.
He could clearly feel his face heating up; he never expected Gu Die to be flustered by a woman.
This woman—just how many moods does she have? A moment ago she was like a little rabbit, and now she's turned into a man-eating tiger.
He pushed her away, picked up the coat she had taken off, and walked out the door pretending to be calm.
"You scared me to death!" Seeing him leave, she hurriedly caught her breath.
She hadn't expected this trick to really work; seeing his earlier pretended composure, she couldn't help laughing out loud.
As it turned out, this notorious playboy was nothing special after all.
Only after stepping out the door did he realize she had done it on purpose.
This is his own room—why would he need to leave?
"This bed is really soft!" She had just lain down when she heard the sound of the door opening.
She quickly sat up and saw that it was him.
He also ignored him, then went to the bathroom to take a shower.
She was bored with nothing to do, so she wanted to go downstairs for a walk.
"Young Mistress!" the servants downstairs saw her and shouted in unison while bowing.
She really wasn't used to receiving such a grand greeting, and felt uncomfortable all over.
"Lín āyí, has your Young Master said when I can leave? It's already so dark outside." She asked, referring to the person Gu Die had called Lín āyí earlier, and she was probably not mistaken.
"The Young Master has ordered that you will stay in his room from now on." Lín āyí replied with a smile, "You are now husband and wife, so it's only natural to sleep together."
"Does today count?" she asked.
"Of course it counts, Young Mistress, you've arrived, so you are the Young Mistress of this household!" Lín āyí laughed at her question.
"Oh!" she only felt an inexplicable nervousness.
"Young Mistress, if you have anything, just command us."
"Okay, thank you, Lín āyí."
Lín āyí was momentarily moved and didn't know what to say; since she came to the Gu Family, she had never heard anyone thank her.
She had no choice but to go upstairs, carefully pushing open the door.
There was no one upstairs; the servants had been ordered not to go up.
He was wearing pajamas, half-reclined on the bed reading documents.
She didn't dare disturb him, darting into the bathroom and taking a thorough wash.
After washing, she discovered there were no clothes in the bathroom at all.
Such a large bathroom doesn't even have a bathrobe; he must have done it on purpose, right?!
She had no choice but to wear the clothes she had on today, but they were almost completely soaked from the shower.
She came out with her wet hair draped over her, still wearing the damp clothes.
She stood before the bed for a long time, but he didn't look at her.
"Gu Die, could you find me something to wear?"
People, when it's time to lower your head, you still have to lower your head!
Only then did he turn his head to look at her; seeing her soaked all over, he realized Lín āyí must have been tidying the bathroom today.
Every day Lín āyí tidies the room, replacing items with new ones; perhaps she forgot to bring the new bathrobe.
He hurriedly got up to find her clothes.
But there were no women's clothes in the house, so he had to give her one of his own.
"Go change." His tone still lacked any hint of concern.
After she changed and came out, he was already waiting with a towel.
She is much taller than her; the clothes are naturally big; wearing just his short sleeve is like wearing a dress.
Seeing her come out, he took the towel to dry her hair.
She was stunned; she didn't expect that such a cold person would do something rather warm.
She lifted her head to look at him; it was the first time someone had dried her hair, besides Grandma and Cheng Li, no one had ever done that for her.
Their gazes met; she saw his eyes, although icy, she felt an inexplicable warmth, and up close his face seemed even more handsome.
But he noticed her eyes were a little red.
"What's wrong?" he asked anxiously, wondering if she was about to cry.
"It's nothing, I just didn't expect you to dry my hair; no one has ever done that for me before." She said it quite directly.
Hearing her words, his heart felt strangely a little ache.
"Sit here."
As soon as he finished speaking, he brought over a hair dryer.
She never imagined that Gu Die, the Eldest Young Master of the Gu family, would be blow-drying her hair!
"I'll do it myself!" she reached for the hair dryer.
"Don't move." Just two words, she was so frightened she didn't dare move; in front of him she had none of the poise that others saw in Chu Liuli.
In everyone's eyes she was a proud lioness.
In front of him, she sometimes resembled a wilted tiger.
