Chapter 1022 - 1030: It Can Only Be This Person

"Grandparents always told me not to waste food," Jane Sampson sighed. "I can restrain myself."

The Sampton Family never lacked food or clothes, their family wealth was substantial, and the Black Family was even more affluent. However, Jane had been taught not to waste food indiscriminately since she was young.

Therefore, with Peter Gingery absent, Jane forced herself to eat the egg white.

"By the way, you called me early in the morning," she said. "Surely you weren’t calling just to ask if I had eaten breakfast, right? "I met her on Director Wilson’s film crew last time," Jane recounted. "Back then, I was living in a room at a rural schoolyard, and she was staying in the same courtyard with a few other minor roles. Talking about it, Jane could not help but sigh. "I was really upset when the fruits were thrown away. So at the time, I felt quite grateful to Mona."

"Yes," James did not hide it from Jane.

Do you remember back when you were filming in the southland, the blogger who leaked that you had changed your assistant, and that your fruits were thrown away at the crew location, isolating you and claiming your character was bad and you were unpopular? Later on, I had someone contact this blogger, but they refused the money, saying they wanted to stick to their professional integrity and wouldn’t reveal where they got the messages."

At this, Jane bit her lip lightly, not daring to ask further or interrupt James’s words.

"Last night, while looking into Mona, I unexpectedly found out that she and that blogger are from the same hometown. More importantly, the two have been boyfriend and girlfriend since their second year of high school, and they haven’t split up to this day," James revealed. "I gave that studio so much money back then, and that person remained unmoved. But later, Kane Forest gave them money, and some issues were resolved then."
