Chapter 1078 - 1086: Wanting to be a Father

"I still have some important matters to take care of here; you go back to the hotel first. I’ll come find you after I finish my work, and we can hang out," Oliver Brownstone said to his friend after glancing at the newcomers, then turned to tell his old friend.

"Okay." The man in gray clothes stood up and nodded lightly to Rock Bell and Jane Sampson out of politeness, without asking Oliver Brownstone to escort him out, and left via the door behind Jane and Rock.

Oliver Brownstone didn’t stand on ceremony with his old friend, and instead greeted Jane first.

"James Black’s wife," Oliver Brownstone greeted Jane with a grin, "I didn’t expect you were hiding out in my company."

No one in the office noticed that the man who had already reached the door suddenly halted upon hearing Oliver’s words, turned his head, and looked back for a moment.

A few seconds later, he continued on his way out.

"My aunt attended your wedding with James Black," Oliver Brownstone struck up a conversation with Jane in his typically easy manner.

If you ask Oliver if he would regret letting Jane go, of course, he would feel regretful.

After all, Jane was the most promising artist in the company currently; he had been discussing with others earlier about focusing on this lucky artist and had thought about sitting down for a chat with Jane to find out what kind of person this artist was.
