"It was your younger brother?" Sister Shaw sighed with relief upon hearing this. "I thought so. James is kind to you, and no woman would want to hurt him. Maybe I can lend a hand?"

"That would be great, Sister Shaw. I want to check the hotel’s CCTV footage from yesterday and also look at the information of the guest who booked Guest Room 1933. Could you see if your old friend might be able to help me with that?" Jane asked.

"Sure, I’ll ask and get back to you as soon as possible," Sister Shaw said, and then she hung up immediately.

After all, being a local from King Town, she had a wider network than Jane.

About five minutes later, Sister Shaw sent Jane a message.

"My friend agreed. You wait at your hotel, and I’ll drive over to pick you up, then we’ll go straight to my friend’s office. My friend is already looking up the information you requested. The CCTV footage can’t be released without upper-level permission, so you’ll need to come over in person to watch it," conveyed Sister Shaw. "He’s a very trustworthy old friend of mine."

"Thank you so much, Sister Shaw," Jane accepted. "Would it be okay if I bring my brother and my assistant along?"

"That’s fine," Sister Shaw agreed without hesitation.

After hanging up the phone, Jane turned to Bright Sampton and said, "Hurry and pack up, we’ll be heading out to the Crystal Element Hotel to check the CCTV footage and the information of the guest who stayed in Room 1933 from yesterday. Lucy, you pack up too, and come with us."

"Okay!" Lucy nodded her head. "I’ll send a message to Sister Bell first, to let her know you’re on top of this."

"Good, tell her not to worry for now, I’ll handle this first. If I can’t resolve it, I’ll speak to her later," Jane hummed in response.

Bright Sampton didn’t dawdle, quickly grabbing some clothes and heading to the bathroom to change. Then he came back and urged Jane.

It was Sister Shaw who arrived downstairs 20 minutes later. Jane, along with Bright and Lucy, left through the hotel staff passage, considering the incident on the internet had resulted in the grand hotel’s gate entrance now being completely blocked by a swarm of reporters who had caught wind of the news.

Jane got into the car with her people, and Sister Shaw instinctively looked over at the sole boy among them, even taking a moment to check his profile, confirming it was indeed the boy from the video.
