Chapter 2159 - 2167: Pretty Good

~4 min read 659 words

The veteran Chinese medicine doctor just said that she can prepare for pregnancy after stopping the medication for two months, indicating that her body is capable of getting pregnant and having a baby.

A big stone was lifted from her heart, so Jane Sampson was really delighted.

James Black had mentioned wanting children many times to her before; she knew James wanted a child, so she had been worried that her body might not cooperate.

Most importantly, she also really liked little babies.

Jane Sampson and James Black returned home, and Aunt knew that James Black had taken Jane Sampson to see a traditional Chinese medicine doctor, so she concernedly asked about Jane’s health.

"Pretty good," Jane Sampson quickly replied, "Grandpa Peterson told me that after taking the medicine for another three months, I can stop."

"That’s really great!" Aunt clapped her hands happily, "Leave the rest to me. I’ll slowly nourish you with food, making sure you become nice and healthy."

"The little baby should be nice and plump, not me," Jane Sampson mumbled under her breath.

James Black heard it and glanced at her, lowering his head.

It seemed like when he went to pick up the medication, Old Sir Peterson had told her, knowing that she just needed to take the medication for three more months, which made her so happy that she was smiling all the way.

"You’re going out tomorrow, right? Today, I’ll make more of your favorite dishes for you and James Black!" Aunt said as she pulled Jane Sampson into the kitchen, asking if Jane needed help with cooking spicy beef, and also asking what she wanted for lunch.

This day, Jane Sampson was grinning at everyone she met, and this good mood lasted until just before she went to sleep in the evening.

Lying in bed, rolling around, with the packed suitcase just placed in the corner, James Black came out from the bathroom and saw her in this state.

"You’re this happy just because you won’t need medication in the future?" James Black found Jane’s joy quite amusing.

He stood by the bed, patting Jane Sampson’s backside, "Lie down properly, we have to catch a flight tomorrow morning, get some rest early."

Jane Sampson rolled to one side, back to her original spot, waiting for James Black to come up, and then she automatically moved next to him. "I’m just happy, but I’m not telling you why I’m so happy!" Jane giggled mischievously, determined not to let James know what she discussed with Old Sir Peterson today.

"You look quite spirited," James Black turned over, pressing down, "Let’s do something else."

Before Jane Sampson could say no, he lowered his head and kissed her.

He’s the one who said to rest early.

But he’s also the one who didn’t let her rest early.

Early the next morning, Jane Sampson was woken up by James Black.

As she opened her eyes, she felt her eyes were swollen, and her eyelids struggled to stay open out of tiredness.

Considering they had to take a flight today, James didn’t go overboard last night, but Jane Sampson had been resting at the Black Family for so long, she woke up over seven o’clock every day.

Suddenly being woken up before 6 o’clock, Jane felt a regret of not having enough sleep.

To linger in bed for a few more minutes, Jane didn’t even apply makeup in the end, washed her face, applied some emulsion, and went out with James to catch the flight.

On the way to the airport, she leaned on James Black’s shoulder and slept all the way.

After passing the security check and reaching the waiting lounge, she leaned in James Black’s arms and continued sleeping.

Once on the airplane, Jane’s head tilted, and she soon fell asleep again.

Her good sleep amazed James Black.

Jane Sampson slept all the way until the airplane landed, only waking up from the turbulence.
