Chapter 2179 - 2187: You Have the Nerve to Cry
"Innocent? You’re not innocent at all." Coco Edwards laughed angrily.
"You told Jillian Carter that early in the morning you saw little Jane from our house coming out of Mr. Carter’s room. What dirty thoughts do you have? Little Jane was just giving some aloe vera juice for sunburn treatment to Mr. Carter. How did it become so filthy and unbearable with you?"
"Also, Stella Carter, you think it’s strange for Jane Sampson to look for Mr. Carter early in the morning, then what about you? You, who don’t live on that floor, appeared there early in the morning. Are you acting normal, hmm?" Coco Edwards got even more furious seeing Stella Carter’s pitiful crying face, and her words showed no mercy at all.
Fine, since Stella Carter made people mistakenly think Jane Sampson spent the night at James Carter’s place last night, then Coco Edwards would retaliate. She’d make it known that Stella Carter wasn’t a good person either. Who would believe what kind of person like her says?
"I don’t know if your teacher taught you this term, ’The lewd see lewdness.’ Have you learned it? What kind of person you are is how you see others." Coco Edwards spat, "Little Jane from our house has come this far, is it easy? Is it a success that fell from the sky just for her to pick up? Do you all have to be so scheming to slander her and ruin her?"
"I’m telling you, no way! Sister Jane from our house is not easily bullied!" Harry Little Money added fiercely.
"I’m sorry, I really didn’t know someone would eavesdrop. I shouldn’t have said those things to Jillian Carter. I’m sorry." Stella Carter covered her face and squatted down crying, almost unable to speak clearly through her sobs.
"But those even harsher words weren’t said by me. If Jillian Carter wants to talk, I can’t shut her mouth, can I? If you want to blame, then blame Jillian Carter~" Stella Carter felt more aggrieved as she spoke, "I also told her not to speak recklessly, I told her I didn’t believe it, but Jillian Carter insisted on saying it, what could I do to stop her?"
Coco Edwards nearly fainted from anger.
"Crying, you dare cry! What, are you trying to make people think we’re bullying you?" Coco Edwards bent down and yanked her up, "We haven’t cried, and you have the face to cry?"
"I’ll deal with Jillian Carter myself." James Black frowned deeply. He didn’t know that Jillian Carter had approached Jane Sampson and said those things in front of Stella Carter before seeing Jane.
"I did it, I apologize, I will explain, I will explain clearly to everyone in the film crew one by one, but Jillian Carter’s fault has nothing to do with me." Stella Carter sobbed, "When Sister Jane arrives, I will apologize to Sister Jane."
"Do you know who eavesdropped on your conversation with Jillian Carter?" Harry Little Money asked.
"I don’t know." Stella Carter shook her head, "I haven’t been in the crew for long, and I only know a few people."
"Do what you need to do to clarify, if you can’t do it well, then get out of this crew, it’s just a stand-in, you can be replaced anywhere." James Black glanced at the tear-streaked Stella Carter, "As for what you and Jillian Carter said, I will investigate myself. If you lied, get out."
Stella Carter stood there wiping her tears and nodding. Hearing James Black’s words, she turned and ran. The thought of standing there even one more second frightened her to her core.
The look Jane Sampson’s husband gave her just now was so fierce, it was as if he wanted to kill her.
