Chapter 2183 - 2191: Who Got Kicked Out

"Do I not even have the right to speak?" Jillian Carter pushed away Joseph Shaw’s hand from her shoulder, "What did James Black mean by that? What does he mean by saying everyone knows how my company was founded? What does he mean by saying the Carter Family’s money isn’t coming to me yet?"

"What did you say to Jane Sampson in the afternoon?" Joseph Shaw stood there powerlessly, too tired to even look at Jillian Carter.

"I was just... I was just..." Jillian Carter stammered, "I just told her that Dad and Mom gave me tens of millions to start the company."

"Jillian Carter, is it amusing? Is it amusing to tell a lie that can be exposed at any moment?" Joseph Shaw repeatedly asked Jillian Carter several times.

"Jane Sampson doesn’t care about money, is it amusing to flaunt money in front of her?" Joseph Shaw slowly closed his eyes.

The lightly closed eyelids suddenly masked all his exhaustion and disappointment.

"Did she know early on? Did Jane Sampson know early on?" Jillian Carter paid no attention to the emotions in Joseph Shaw’s eyes; she was concerned about the embarrassment she faced before Jane Sampson.

"No wonder back then she and James Black looked at me oddly, like watching a clown, turns out she knew early on, yet pretended not to know, watching me embarrass myself! How evil! Jane Sampson is so kind? Isn’t she vicious?"

Jillian Carter yelled, "Joseph Shaw, you taught me to pretend that everything is fine with everyone in the house in front of Jane Sampson, it was you who taught me!"

"A few months ago, I taught you to say that before Jane Sampson, now, did I tell you to say such things? I told you to behave, taught you to sell your immovable property to start a company, didn’t I teach you to behave?" Joseph Shaw sighed heavily, "When did I teach you to go to Jane Sampson and tell such a stupid lie? And when did you, seriously, listen to what I said?"

Joseph Shaw stepped back two paces, bent down to pick up his shattered mobile phone.

"I need to calm down, and I think you need to calm down too, I’m returning to the guard team." As he finished saying this, Joseph Shaw turned and left.

A few seconds later, the main gate slammed shut with a sound, and Joseph Shaw’s figure disappeared.

Joseph Shaw feared that if he stayed in the house, faced with the hysterical Jillian Carter, he would say things impulsive and irrational.

He sat inside the car, over and over reminiscing about the first time he met Jillian Carter, over and over recalling, afraid that in the future, he might forget how wonderful she was in the past.

Past eight o’clock in the evening, in the film crew’s group chat, Stella Carter posted a long message apologizing to Jane Sampson, saying she shouldn’t have said malicious things damaging to Jane Sampson’s reputation behind her back.

At that time Jane Sampson was filming, she didn’t finish until over one o’clock, got to the hotel, and finished her bath by two o’clock.

She was so tired she didn’t even touch her mobile phone, and fell onto the bed asleep.

Even her mobile phone was charged by James Black.

It wasn’t until the next morning Jane Sampson arrived at the film set, learned that Stella Carter had left the set, then she belatedly realized something indeed happened the day before.

During the noon break, Jane Sampson asked James Black, "Was Stella Carter kicked out of the film crew by you?"

"Not me," James Black denied.

"If not you, then who?" Jane Sampson didn’t believe it, Stella Carter had ties with James Carter, if not James Black, then who?
