Chapter 595 - 603: You, Move Away A Bit
James Black was just about to speak out in protest, wanting to say what’s there to take photos for, when he heard Jane Sampson cheerfully nodding in agreement first.
He glanced at Jane Sampson and scoffed, she had been cold to him all morning, yet she was all smiles with his subordinates, as tender and cute as the spring breeze in March.
Despite clearly being very tired, she still playfully humored these dumbfounded lads.
"Sister-in-law, you’re so nice!" a team member complimented Jane Sampson, "No wonder we all liked sister-in-law at first sight, turns out sister-in-law and us are truly fated!"
"Exactly! It’s because sister-in-law is our sister-in-law, and we’re all from the guard team!"
Jane Sampson was amused by the group of young team members and wanted to stand in front to take a photo with them, but James Black’s grip on her hand was so close, he wouldn’t loosen it at all.
Jane Sampson glared at James Black and whispered through gritted teeth, "Let go of me!"
James Black thought for two seconds and didn’t move.
And the group of rabbit kids failed to notice the little detail between Jane Sampton and James Black, as one by one they gathered around her.
"We’ll just take a casual photo, as long as our sister-in-law looks beautiful in it," said the team member on Jane’s left side to his teammates in front.
"Do we need you to say that, our sister-in-law is definitely the focus!" the team member in front agreed while staring at the mobile phone screen, "Besides, our sister-in-law looks better than any of you even in a random shot."
"Of course! Our sister-in-law is a goddess-tier person."
James Black stood next to them, listening to the group charm his wife, who had been unhappy with him all morning, into a blooming heart, full of smiles and laughter.
Heh, well done indeed.
Quite a group of smooth talkers, very good at flattering people, these little rabbit kids.
And that wasn’t even the worst of it.
The team member in front stared at the mobile phone screen for two seconds, then suddenly shouted to someone in front, "Chief, Chief, move to the side, you’re blocking the lens for that someone behind!"
And the team member whose shot was being blocked, excited at the prospect of taking a group photo with Goddess Sampson, pushed the person next to him in his agitation.
"Chief, please move aside, make some room for me, I need to take a good photo with my goddess," he said while pushing James Black toward the side.
Just like that, one push, no movement, a second push, and after the third and fourth pushes, he successfully got the Chief with the dark face out of the lens’s reach.
After a few more turns, the spot where James Black stood was gradually taken by others, until later, he could only stand in the corner, with a terribly gloomy expression, watching the group of rabbit kids continue to crowd around his wife for selfies after the group photo!
In his ears were the exclamations of those rabbit kids.
"Wow sister-in-law, you’re so photogenic! Truly a palm-sized face!"
"Wow sister-in-law, your skin is even better in person than in the lens, you haven’t put on makeup this morning, have you? My goodness, your skin is so white, so tender."
"Sister-in-law, how do you maintain your skin? Do you have any secrets? I’m so dark, can I be a little whiter?"
Jane Sampson, charmed by this group of cute young team members, had forgotten James Black was still standing next to her. When asked how to maintain her skin to make it whiter, she shamelessly responded with "True beauty needs no adornment," making everyone laugh and compliment her for being so straightforward and adorable.
"Oh right, sister-in-law! I know you like wild fruits! I went to the mountain village early in the morning just to pick these for you!" a team member said, pulling out some wild fruits wrapped in a clean handkerchief from his pocket.
