Chapter 650 - 658: How Did You Get Here?

Jane Sampson had seen the photos of the other two models she was paired with today, one female and one male, the male model had already arrived, so it must be the female model who had the car accident.

Jane Sampson took out her mobile phone, then found Mona Calm in the WhatsAPP and went into her space album. She handed over the mobile phone and said, "I’ve looked at that model’s information, and I feel she’s quite similar to this friend of mine. Take a look, do you think my friend would do? She happens to be in City S these two days. If it works, you can call her over to try out. If not, you can look for someone else."

The photo shoot for JK’s advertisement, even just a minor role, Jane thought, was a good opportunity for Mona Calm.

At least, if she got the advertisement, it would look much better on Mona’s resume.

The photographer glanced at Jane’s mobile phone, swiped through and looked at a whole set of photos, and nodded, "I think she’ll do, call her over and let’s see how it feels."

Mona Calm, having no work recently and thus free, had come to City S to play for two days. Upon receiving a call from Jane, Mona excitedly thanked Jane several times over the phone.

Mona was not far from the outdoor shooting location, only about half an hour away. Jane hadn’t even finished her makeup before Mona had arrived.

Mona was lucky, and with decent qualifications too, JK’s personnel tried a few shots with her, after some discussion, they decided to let Mona replace the model who had the car accident and had JK Company’s people bring the contract immediately for Mona to sign.

The morning’s episode did not affect the whole day’s filming. They filmed three sitcoms like mini-movies, wrapping up and heading back to JK Company around four in the afternoon.

Jane Sampson, along with Mandy Forest and Lotus, changed clothes and makeup at JK Company, and without even having time for a meal, they rushed to the press conference site.

The evening felt just like battling through.

Luckily, the hotel where the press conference was held was the same one where Jane was staying. After the event, Jane changed her clothes, removed her makeup, and without even a moment to drink water, she got into the pre-arranged car and headed straight for the airplane back to Capital Province.

Because it wasn’t the weekend, Jane didn’t specifically tell James Black she was returning, so when the airplane landed and she turned on her mobile phone, seeing the text message from James Black was quite shocking to her.

In WhatsAPP, James Black told her that he was already waiting for her at the airport exit.

"Little Jane, are you tired? Why do you look so strange?" Coco Edwards came over with Jane’s luggage and began to speak, then said, "The company’s car is already at the airport gate, get some rest early when you get back home."

"Someone is picking me up, you can take the company’s car home," Jane said as she took her suitcase from Coco Edwards.

Coco Edwards said all right without asking further, and they parted ways at the exit. Jane waited until Coco Edwards was out of sight before carrying her suitcase toward where James Black was.

She hadn’t walked far when James Black already stepped forward and took her suitcase from her.

"Why are you here? It isn’t the weekend, and I thought you’d be too busy to pick me up," Jane hurriedly made excuses since she didn’t tell him about her return, but it was indeed what she had been thinking.
