Chapter 656 - 664: Three Wives and Four Concubines
James Black choked and glanced at Jane Sampson, who was gearing up for another escapade, "You can buy them, but let me make this clear, if those two ugly rabbits dare show up in the bedroom, I wouldn’t mind having them stay together in the trash bin downstairs."
"Fine," Jane Sampson replied crisply.
Seeing how quickly Jane responded, James Black gave her a few more seconds of attention, "Is the wife of the ugly rabbit a limited edition? Will she be gone after tonight?"
"Yes, just one and a half hours left!" Jane Sampson nodded, implying that she was urging James Black to hurry.
"Alright," James Black took out his mobile phone, "Pay with WhatsApp, and I’ll transfer to your WhatsApp."
After commenting, James Black transferred exactly 3,288 bucks over, without giving a penny more. Once done, he put down his phone and added, "In the future, if you don’t behave, I will start by getting rid of the ugly rabbit’s limited edition wife."
!!!
Jane Sampson’s eyes widened in shock.
No wonder he transferred the money so readily, he was waiting to use this tactic on her!
"What are you looking at me for? Buy it so you can go to sleep early," James Black urged Jane Sampson.
"It’s not enough," Jane Sampson raised two fingers, "I made appointments for two."
Cursing James Black in her heart for being such a miser, unable to spare even a buck more for her, and with only limited cash in her purse, she grumbled about the modern trend of mobile payments and having just two bucks in her card – what was she supposed to do with that?
James Black snorted, "Two? What, are you going to give your ugly rabbit a harem?"
One second, Jane Sampson, who was glaring and cursing in her heart, burst out laughing at James Black’s harem joke the next second.
"I made an appointment for one for Nina Rice too; her Mr. Rabbit also needs a wife," Jane Sampson explained cheerfully.
James Black raised an eyebrow and transferred another 3,288 bucks to Jane Sampson.
Jane Sampson was fast; in less than a minute, she had paid for both appointment orders.
After paying, she placed her mobile phone on the bedhead cabinet next to her and lay back down, muttering, "You’ve invested all my money in financial management, how am I supposed to go out tomorrow?"
After muttering, she glanced at James Black and, seeing that he acted as if he hadn’t heard her, Jane Sampson pursed her lips, huffed, and added, "What if I want to buy stuff?"
Since the endorsement fee wouldn’t arrive that quickly, was she going to be so broke that she needed money every day from now on?
"The card inside the drawer has been there since the beginning of our marriage, whatever you want to buy, just buy it, no spending limit," James Black embraced Jane Sampson in his arms, his voice cool, "It’s you who doesn’t use it."
"Then I want to buy JK’s new season’s bag," Jane Sampson raised her head to look at James Black, "The white one with the bowknot, it’s really pretty."
"Buy it," James Black agreed without hesitation.
"There are large, medium, and small sizes, but I don’t know which one to get," Jane Sampson looked puzzled.
"Buy them all," James Black replied without a second thought, "A few bags, what’s there to consider about?"
Jane Sampson’s lips curled up, "The bag comes in bright red and forest green too, and they are very pretty. The bright red one is particularly bold and striking, while the forest green is quite vintage."
James Black looked down at a somewhat flattering smiling Jane Sampson. This was a typical case of giving someone an inch and they take a mile.
"Still buy them all?" Jane Sampson bared her teeth playfully as she nudged James Black’s arm, her heart bubbling with joy.
The usually unyielding James Black, it seemed giving him a sob story would lead to his compromise.
It would appear that her tears earlier were not shed in vain.
