Jane Sampson’s mouth twitched, forget?

How could she possibly forget?

She would remember till death how this jerk had cruelly pressed on her swollen pimple, causing her such pain that she almost burst into tears for him to see.

"Are you still eating?" James Black asked.

"I’m not eating anymore! Isn’t that enough?" Jane Sampson replied huffily, clutching the kettle, "You decide what to eat."

Hearing the notification for a new message on her mobile phone, both Jane Sampson and James Black huffed and picked up their phones to take a look.

When she saw the message was from Julie Sampton, Jane Sampson didn’t really want to open it.

Where are you now? — Julie Sampton.

Just by looking at the text message, Jane Sampson guessed that Julie Sampton must have seen her in the elevator just now, so she sent a text to probe.

Wherever you think I am, that’s where I am. — Jane Sampson.

Jane Sampson shot back a reply and then tossed her mobile phone back into her purse, turning to James Black and saying, "Julie Sampton just now sent a text asking where I was, so she probably saw me in the elevator."

"So what if she saw you? If you don’t feel like dealing with her, you don’t have to," James Black said. His attitude towards Julie Sampton had always been cold to her face, so privately, he was even more indifferent and contemptuous.

Jane Sampson shrugged her shoulders, "We’re not really good sisters anyway, asking where I’m going, it’s not like she cares what I’m up to."

"Northern dishes, I want big plate chicken," Jane Sampson said, suddenly laughing slyly while holding the kettle.

James Black chuckled. He had no doubt that big plate chicken wasn’t really what Jane Sampson was craving at the moment. What she probably wanted was the grilled lamb skewers from the western region dishes.

Without calling Jane Sampson out, James Black simply drove towards the vegetable restaurant.

Meanwhile, Julie Sampton, having separated from Charlotte Miller who was satisfied with getting James Black’s mobile number, didn’t come by car, so she was alone catching the express train.

She was currently sitting in a taxi on her way to the high-speed train station.

After some thought, Julie Sampton made a phone call to Mother Sampton, and as soon as Mother Sampton picked up the phone, Julie Sampton directly spoke up, "Mom, Jane Sampson seems to be pregnant."

Upon hearing this, Mother Sampton immediately responded with excitement, "Really? How do you know? That’s wonderful! She and James Black have been married for so many years now, and honestly, I’ve been worried for a long time because I hadn’t heard any news of her pregnancy.
