Chapter 836 - 844: What’s the Matter with Bright Sampton?

"I know, isn’t it just Julie Sampton using her newly registered alt to post it?" Jane Sampson sneered, "Dad called me home, what exactly do you want to say?"

"Dad, you can skip that apology, I can’t accept it," Jane Sampson shook her head gently. Why, after someone else hurt her, must she be forced to accept a mere sorry?

"Jane, it’s good for a family to get along in harmony. Throwing a tantrum at home isn’t nice, is it?" When her completed homework was neatly placed on the tabletop, and Julie tore it up to use as draft paper, Mother Sampton repeated the same phrase, "Your sister is young, forgive her for being thoughtless this one time."

When they went to school together and brought their transcripts home, Julie tore up all of Jane’s perfect exams, and Mother Sampton still said, "Your sister is young and has had a tough life in the past ten-plus years. As the older sister, you should be more forgiving with her academics."

At thirteen, may be considered young. But what about after more than twenty years? Is she still young?

"Dad and Mom, see, she said it herself, what I said is true, so why should I apologise? I didn’t lie," Julie Sampton spoke up bravely after hearing Jane Sampson’s words.

"Shut your mouth!" Father Sampton, enraged, yelled at Julie Sampton, "You fool! All your mother’s spoilage!"

After yelling at Julie Sampton, Father Sampton then walked over to Jane Sampson and looked down at her from a superior position, slowly beginning to speak, "Jane, no matter what, dad and mom have raised you for many years, provided for your food and clothes. We are all a family, and we’re not asking you to remember the kindness of your parents raising you for so many years. We just hope that you bear in mind that we are a family and should live in harmony in the future."
