Chapter 899 - 907 Not a Housekeeper Again

"Sit down before you take your lunch break, I still have things to do in my office, so I won’t join you for lunch. I need to head back to the office first." James Black slowed his pace to catch up with Jane Sampson, walking beside her shoulder to shoulder.

"Okay." Jane learned her lesson this time, replying earnestly.

"Snacks, one of each kind, and don’t you dare eat more, or I’ll take care of you when I get back." James remembered about the snacks Peter Gingery had brought over, just before he left the house.

After threatening Jane and getting her agreement, James finally closed the door and left.

Once James had left and closed the door, Jane put her hands on her hips and started mumbling at the main gate, "Clean up, clean up, I’m not a housekeeper, always this cleanup that cleanup!"

If it hadn’t been for her mobile phone ringing with a charge in the room, Jane could have carried on ranting at James long after he had gone from the living room for several more minutes.

"Hello, Mona Calm?" The girl calling Jane was the little miss she met on the film set last time.

"Sister Jane, are you taking your lunch break? Did I disturb you?" Mona’s voice was soft on the phone, "sorry, I thought you might be resting, but I just couldn’t help wanting to share this great news with you."

"No, I haven’t started resting yet." Jane could tell that Mona was truly in high spirits, "What’s the good news? Tell me, so I can be happy for you too."

"Sister Jane, I get to act with you again!" Mona’s voice sounded happy, "Sister Jane, this time my character has quite a few lines! I’m playing Olivia Rainbow, one of the trusted maids of your character. When I got the call from the company, I was just so happy."
