Chapter 31: Catching the Beast

The Jun'an Logistics Park was actually like a large raw meat storage and transfer station, so a vehicle disinfection pool was set up at the entrance. Every vehicle had to pass through the disinfection pool when entering and leaving, so the tires of the vehicles in the park would have disinfectant components.

The car loaded with money boxes was naturally no exception! And after the police checked, they didn't find a vehicle the same as the one at the scene, which could only mean the car changed its tires after entering the park! Originally, there were too many such modified small trucks in the park, and their appearance and color were basically the same. When the bandits used them, they used fake license plates. The police initially checked based on tire tread patterns and wear. After the tires were changed, using this method naturally couldn't find the suspect vehicle.

After Gu Changzheng proposed a new search direction, they indeed found a small truck whose tires had no disinfectant components at all!

This discovery made everyone, who was already exhausted, full of energy! This meant they were closer to the bandits!

"Master Liu, do you know which family this car belongs to?" Gu Changzheng used the duty room of the park as a temporary arrest command post and asked the security guard on duty, Liu Dafu, pointing to the photo of the small truck.

Liu Dafu put on his reading glasses and looked carefully: "I know, I know! This car belongs to Haiqing Cold Storage. The boss is named Tan Haiqing. His cold storage is in the northwest corner of the park, and there is a Haiqing Cold Storage sign at the door!"

"Good, thank you!"

Gu Changzheng looked at his watch: "It is now 4:32 AM on the 6th. Everyone check your watches. The target is the Haiqing Cold Storage in the northwest corner. Group 1, break the door from the front..."

"Form an encirclement in 5 minutes! Liu Baoshan has a gun and is extremely dangerous. He has at least two helpers. The weapon situation is unknown. Everyone pay attention to cooperation, and absolutely cannot let him escape the room! Do you understand?"

Everyone roared in a low voice: "Understood!"

A hunt began!

In the cold storage, Tan Haiqing stood in a thick military overcoat before a stainless steel table gleaming with a cold light. Where pork was originally meant to be placed on the table, the corpse of a man now lay. The body had been stripped of its clothes and lay bare on the table. Tan Haiqing picked up a towel of indeterminate color and covered the corpse's head. He pressed a red button on the side of the table, and a roar of machinery starting up filled the room. He skillfully pushed the corpse on the table toward the rapidly spinning saw blade...

Suddenly, a burst of ear-piercing gunshots broke the silence of the dark night! Tan Haiqing, who was "working" in the cold storage, was startled by the gunshots! "It's over! The police found him!" Thinking of this, he looked around, and immediately, he stopped the "work" in his hands and opened the cold storage door. Outside, a group of fully armed special police had their muzzles aimed at him!

Tan Haiqing's face was pale, and he raised his hands tremblingly. Immediately, two armed police pounced on him and pressed him to the ground. "Clack!" A pair of cold shackles locked his hands from behind!

Time returned to 4:37 AM. Tan Haiqing was concentrating on cutting the corpse in the cold storage, completely unaware that he and Liu Baoshan had been surrounded by the police!

With a "whoosh," the rolling shutter door was pulled up! Liu Baoshan, who was sleeping soundly in the inner room, was startled by the sudden sound and sat up from the bed! The Type 77 in his hand was cocked and fired at the same time!

"Puff, puff!" Two shots pierced the shield in the hands of the armed police rushing in front and hit the armed police. Fortunately, the personnel surrounding the arrest were already equipped with bulletproof vests. Although the two shots caused the person hit to fall, there was no life danger.

Liu Baoshan's reaction was quite fast. This was also the skill he had practiced over many years of criminal career. He could fall asleep in a few seconds and wake up in an instant, and except for bathing, he was never without a weapon at any time! This was also the reason why he could launch an attack the moment the police broke the door!

But today all his counterattacks were in vain! Just after he knocked down an armed police officer with two shots, the armed police who broke into the room immediately separated and hid, leaving a passage in the middle of the room. Liu Baoshan saw this but didn't move!

He laughed wildly: "Don't act rashly! The owner of this shop is in my hands. If you dare to take another step, I will kill him!"

Liu Baoshan didn't know yet whether the police found him by searching house by house or had already locked onto this place. In an emergency, he used his usual tricks to bluff first!

Gu Changzheng also didn't determine at this time whether the owner of this Haiqing Cold Storage, Tan Haiqing, was Liu Baoshan's accomplice or an innocent person kidnapped by him. And the helper who kidnapped Jiang Yuanqi with Liu Baoshan hadn't appeared yet. For a time, he also fell into hesitation.

In the blink of an eye, Liu Baoshan found that Tan Haiqing was not in the room through the dim light. He knew Tan Haiqing's hobby and shouted "Ah!" and threw the pillow on the bed out!

"Whoosh," the armed police at the door saw a black shadow flying with the sound of wind, and immediately someone fired. Only a few gunshots were heard, and the thrown pillow was shattered, and the duck down filled inside flew all over the sky!

Liu Baoshan took this opportunity to pounce out, and his whole body slammed heavily on the armed police in front!

"Bang!" A muffled sound, the armed police was knocked down to the ground. Liu Baoshan quickly hugged the armed police officer who fell to the ground, used a wrestling-like chest-locking action to lock the other party, and quickly rolled on the spot!

Everyone was shocked by his move. To avoid hurting the armed police officer who was entangled with him, they didn't dare to shoot for a while. At this time, Liu Baoshan and the fallen armed police officer were in a state: Liu Baoshan locked the front chest of the armed police officer from the front, his head pressed tightly against the lower jaw of the armed police officer, the armed police officer's head had no space for activity, and his hands were firmly controlled and couldn't move! After a few "death rolls" by Liu Baoshan, he was already suffocating due to poor breathing!

At this time, Liu Baoshan had already reached the door of the Haiqing Cold Storage. He planned to lean against the wall after turning out of the door and use the armed police officer in his hand as a hostage to find an opportunity to escape!

And at this moment, it was exactly when Tan Haiqing walked out of the cold storage and surrendered after the gunshot!

Tan Haiqing, who was handcuffed, was dragged up from the ground by two armed police officers. Others rushed into the cold storage, and then a burst of vomiting sounds came from inside! A young armed police officer rushed to the front and was also the first to see the corpse cut into pieces, and couldn't help but vomit!

Tan Haiqing outside also heard the vomiting sounds from inside. He naturally knew what was going on, looked at his feet, and a weird smile appeared at the corner of his mouth!

The two were less than 5 meters apart. Liu Baoshan saw Tan Haiqing being escorted out of the cold storage while rolling. His face was stunned for a while, then immediately turned into sadness, and finally laughed neurotically: "Hahahaha!" He let go of the armed police officer who was about to faint, pointed at Tan Haiqing and said: "This rabbit was dried by me, hahaha! Damn it, he's a lunatic! Hahahaha!"

"Pop, pop!" Amidst the wild laughter, four armed police officers had already pounced from all directions and pressed Liu Baoshan, who was still laughing wildly, tightly! ===== CHAPTER 32 =====
