Chapter 41
Hu Feng, lost in the revelry, didn’t notice the phone ringing nonstop in his bag; the room was a mess, the scene grotesque, everyone plunged into madness, ethics and shame buried beneath desire…
But Hu Feng felt he couldn’t fully lose himself—he sensed something missing. Suddenly, an intense craving surged from his abdomen straight to his brain! In this moment, nothing else mattered—he needed a fierce, cathartic battle!
Soon, under his orders, the manager of Bùyè Chéng brought in a group of handsome, fair-skinned men. Unlike the others, one of them radiated a natural, intoxicating charm! Hu Feng instantly felt that long-lost sensation!
“You! Come here! The rest of you, brothers—who wants to taste a rabbit boy?” Hu Feng pointed at the man exuding charm.
The others in the room were already lost in oblivion, ignoring him completely. Hu Feng chuckled, waved at the manager, and yanked the charming man onto the sofa.
The manager bowed with a sly smile and led the other men out. The frenzy continued. Under the dual control of drugs and desire, these business tycoons and social elites had only one thought left: keep pumping dopamine and adrenaline! None anticipated that tonight would end in a unique way—making them never dare set foot in Bùyè Chéng again.
The first to sense something was wrong was the princess who had been with Hu Feng earlier. Since Hu Feng hadn’t truly touched her, she remained alert. Especially after he brought in another rabbit boy, she could no longer bear it—she feigned indifference, hoping this absurd drama would end soon.
Watching Hu Feng eagerly embrace the man, and the man respond with full passion, she quietly hid in the corner of the sofa, covering her ears and waiting it out.
Suddenly! She saw Hu Feng jolt upright as if struck by extreme shock, while the rabbit boy was bent over him. She had just thought, “So passionate?”—when the rabbit boy, who had been leaning down, lifted his head. She saw his mouth full of blood, his face twisted in a grotesque smile!
Before she could react, a scream tore through the room: “Ahh! It hurts so much!” The voice was heart-wrenching. Hu Feng’s upright body leapt to his feet. He kicked the coffee table in front of him—its marble surface flew far across the room. Bottles and fruit platters crashed to the floor with a deafening clatter.
The sudden chaos snapped the others out of their trance. Everyone froze mid-motion, as if paused by a button.
The only one still alert screamed first. She saw the rabbit boy leap toward her the instant Hu Feng rose, dodging his agonized kick and landing before her. She noticed he was biting something in his mouth. Having lived here long, she understood instantly. Overwhelming terror triggered a primal scream—then she collapsed, unconscious.
The rabbit boy spat out what was in his mouth, grabbed a bottle of whiskey beside him, smashed it against the table. The bottle shattered into a weapon with jagged, irregular shards.
He yanked Hu Feng’s hair with one hand, while the other pressed the broken bottle’s shards against Hu Feng’s throat.
The others finally saw the scene. The girls screamed uncontrollably, forgetting their disheveled clothes, scrambling for the door. The men who had come with Hu Feng snapped out of their shock. One, too stunned to see Hu Feng’s lower body, pulled up his pants while shouting furiously: “You fucking idiot! Don’t you know who he is?! Are you insane?!”
The other two who saw clearly shouted: “Someone! Call an ambulance!”
“Get Gong San!” Someone yelled—and it jolted everyone awake.
Gong San’s real name was Gong Jun. He ranked third among Chen Shuanger’s Four Golden Spears, primarily overseeing Chen’s nightclubs.
In Bùyè Chéng, calling Gong San was more effective than calling the police—that was the consensus among the bosses who frequented the place.
But no reminder was needed. Gong San had already learned from the fleeing princess that V18 was in chaos—and that the victim was Hu Feng of the Hu Group.
This was going to be troublesome, Gong San muttered to himself. He summoned the security manager, Gui Zhiyang, and rushed to the fifth floor.
When he arrived at V18, he saw Hu Feng’s massive body half on the floor, half on the sofa, motionless. Closer inspection revealed his naked lower body was a bloody pulp, blood pooling beneath his thighs. Beside him sat a rabbit boy, calm and composed, holding a broken bottle against Hu Feng’s throat.
Hu Feng’s mangled genitals made Gong San shudder. He thought: He’s passed out from pain. This… even if he survives, he’s ruined.
Now, only the two of them, Gong San, and a line of black-clad security guards remained in the room.
Gong San studied the rabbit boy: “Brother, you look unfamiliar. Not from Dǎo City, are you? Know where you are? Know who you’re dealing with?”
Seeing the man caused such chaos yet showed no fear or haste, Gong San didn’t know his depth—so he spoke politely, probing.
Unexpectedly, the man’s reply left him speechless.
“I’m Tan Yang. I know this is Brother Chen Shuanger’s territory. I’m targeting Hu Feng, general manager of the Hu Group. I came to Dǎo City to kill him. This has nothing to do with you—stay out of it.”
Gong San burst out laughing in rage: “Fuck! If you’re gonna kill him, pick another place! You know this is my brother’s turf and you still move here? I’ll tell you—police won’t touch you, but I’ll kill you myself! You’re dead. Now. Let go of Hu Feng. If he survives, I’ll plead for you with my brother!”
As he spoke, Gong San signaled Gui Zhiyang beside him. Gui Zhiyang moved to circle behind the sofa, ready to strike—when Tan Yang barked: “Everyone—stay still! If you want this to escalate, I’ll slit his throat right now!” He pressed the glass shards harder into Hu Feng’s neck.
Gong San didn’t want Hu Feng dead here. He realized Tan Yang must have other demands—otherwise he’d have killed Hu Feng and fled during the chaos.
He understood. “Tan brother, let me get a doctor to bandage him. If he bleeds out and dies, you lose your hostage—and your other demands vanish.”
Tan Yang grinned: “They say Chen Shuanger’s Four Golden Spears are formidable. You must be Gong San.”
