Chapter 53: Body Parts in the Busy Market

Thick black plastic bag, neat cross-section, human tissue basically detached along the joints...

After arriving at the scene, Gao Jianjun saw this scene and couldn't help but feel a shock in his heart! In the public eye, being seen by so many people, how much social panic would this cause!

He quickly directed the sealing of the scene. At this time, the members of the Branch Criminal Police Brigade also arrived at the scene under the leadership of You Xinfa.

"Team Leader You, these two are Master Li and Master Zhou from the District Sanitation Office who found the body parts." Gao Jianjun saw You Xinfa and pointed to Li and Zhou who found the body parts.

You Xinfa looked to be in his 30s, with a tall and straight figure. He always had a smile on his face on weekdays, but his hairline was a bit too high and his hair was sparse, so he looked older than his actual age! However, this person was already a section-level captain of the Criminal Police Brigade at a young age (under 35), so it had to be said that he still had some skills!

You Xinfa wore his signature smile and nodded to Gao Jianjun, who was a few years older than him: "Brother Jun, your efficiency is still high. It's so smooth, the scene control is really in place! How is it? How many body parts were found at the scene?"

Gao Jianjun said: "Xinfa, currently only one bag of body parts has been salvaged. My preliminary investigation shows that it contains a pair of hands detached at the wrists, a pair of feet, and a section of the lower arm."

Although Gao Jianjun was a police station chief, the Shizijie Police Station was located in an important position in Jiangnan District, with a large population in its jurisdiction, as well as famous provincial high schools and some municipal government agencies, so the station chief was also a section-level configuration. The two were the same in administrative level, and in some respects, Gao Jianjun, the station chief, was even more popular than You Xinfa! The two had a good personal relationship, so the address between them was much more casual.

You Xinfa nodded. Forensic doctor Ye Hui, who arrived at the scene with him, was already conducting a preliminary examination of the body parts...

"Team Leader You, Chief Gao, currently, just from the bag containing the body parts and the dismemberment method, I think it is extremely similar to the modus operandi of the 1.10 dismemberment case reported by the Municipal Bureau a few days ago! However, only a small part of the body parts have been found now, and the final result will have to wait until all the body parts are found and examined before an accurate judgment can be made!"

Forensic doctor Ye Hui, the only female forensic doctor in Zizhen City, said to You and Gao after the examination.

"The body parts are highly decomposed, and the time of death should be about 15 days. Judging from the existing body parts (hands and feet), it can basically be confirmed that they belong to a male body part. As for the identity of the body, the skin tissue of the hands and feet has been peeled off, and the fingerprints are completely unavailable. As for the scene of throwing the body, it certainly won't be here. This sewer is the main sewage discharge pipeline in the city, running through the two administrative regions of Jiangnan and Jiangdong, involving a wide range, and there are many residential areas along the line. Throwing the body at any upstream location is possible."

Gao Jianjun thought of Wang Heshan, who had just been reported missing, but the time of death of the body to which the body parts belonged had been half a month, so it could naturally be ruled out that it was Wang.

Gao Jianjun said: "Xinfa, the nature of this case is vicious and complex, and the body parts were found in the busy market during the peak flow of people. Most of the onlookers at the scene saw it, and we are under huge pressure!"

You Xinfa nodded and said: "Yes, Brother Jun, I will report the case to the Municipal Bureau immediately. Now we have to find the other body parts quickly, which will take some effort!"

After receiving the report from the Jiangnan Branch, the Municipal Bureau immediately established a special case team with Deputy Bureau Chief Guo Shuqing, who was in charge of criminal investigation, Branch Chief Wang Feihong of the Criminal Police Detachment, Lu You'an of the Municipal Judicial Appraisal Center, You Xinfa of the Jiangnan District Criminal Police Brigade, and Gao Jianjun, chief of the Shizijie Police Station, as the main members.

After seeing the body parts, Lu You'an, a member of the special case team, immediately suggested investigating the 1.10 dismemberment case together! In Lu You'an's words, if such a skilled joint separation method was not done by one person, then he had wasted half his life as a forensic doctor!

The members of the special case team all understood the ability of this old forensic doctor, and judging from the modus operandi and the body-throwing tool (body bag), the 1.10 case and the 1.16 case had too many similarities! Investigating the cases together was completely feasible.

Thus, a dismemberment case tightly pulled together the three great detectives of the Zizhen City police force in the 90s!

After the cases were combined, under the suggestion of Deputy Bureau Chief Guo Shuqing, the code name was "Exorcist," meaning to exorcise the murderous demon and return a clear sky to the people!

And the Jiangdong Criminal Police Brigade members who were investigating the source of the body for the 1.10 case finally found clues to the victim on Yuema Street after investigating several directions.

On the same day, at 6:00 PM, Gu Changzheng, carrying photos of the victim of the 1.10 case, went with Hu Jinquan to investigate entertainment venues. At this time, it was not yet time for the dance hall to open for guests. The various dance halls on Yuema Street had just finished preparations before business. In the dance hall, except for waiters, there were only a few hostesses who had come early.

Gu and Hu walked around the street. In a small convenience store opposite a dance hall, Gu Changzheng bought a pack of cigarettes and chatted with the boss casually: "Boss, your shop is in a good location. Many people dancing opposite consume here, right?"

The boss was an old man in his 50s. Maybe people of this age like to talk, or maybe this boss was good at talking. He showed a mysterious smile and said: "Hehe, not just the opposite, many people come to my place to buy things on this street! Are you two here to play? Let me tell you, it's still early. Don't look at me being able to talk to you for a few sentences now. In a while, when the sky is completely dark and there are many people, I won't have time to chat with you!"

Gu Changzheng echoed with a smile: "Then you must know many people on this street?" The old man looked at him with a proud look and said: "It's okay, those women coming and going, basically all know me!"

He didn't say he knew the other party, but said that everyone knew him! Gu Changzheng chuckled: "Boss, let me ask you about someone!"

When the boss heard this, his eyes lit up as if he saw gold. He extended his index and middle fingers, drooped his eyelids, and shook them, saying: "My information here has a price!"

Hu Jinquan on the side saw him like this and was about to take out his ID to show his identity. Gu Changzheng hurriedly poked him with his elbow, signaling him not to show his identity.

Gu Changzheng smiled: "What do you mean, Boss, just say it clearly!"

"Two packs of Zhonghua! You have to buy two packs of Zhonghua, and I will tell you one question you want to know!"

"Hehe! Are you so sure you know the person I want to ask about?"

"Rest assured, as long as it is someone who has appeared on this street, especially a stranger, I definitely remember! See for yourself, ask or not!"

Gu Changzheng was shaken by the boss's absolute way of making money. He took out a 100-yuan bill from his pocket and handed it to the boss, not forgetting to add: "Don't sell fake cigarettes!"

The boss rolled his eyes at him: "Fair trade, no deception, I, 'Bao Da Ting' (Information Bao), am not that kind of person!" After finishing, he handed him two packs of hard Zhonghua and gave him 30 yuan in change.

Gu Changzheng felt distressed for a while about the cigarettes that cost him nearly one-fifth of his salary. He picked up a pack and threw it to Hu Jinquan, then said: "Manager of the dance hall, amazing. Let me ask you, have you seen a young man about 175 tall, neither fat nor thin, with thick black hair, fair and clean, um, often wearing a watch on his left hand, the strap is metal. He should also have transportation like a motorcycle!"

"Who? Xiao Fang, right?" After hearing Gu Changzheng's description, Bao Da Ting quickly said a name! ===== CHAPTER 54 =====
