Chapter 1229: Louise Takes Flight, Uplifting Mountains and Overwhelming the World (3/5, Requesting Subscription)
"Void Magic?" Louise gasped, "Does Void Magic really exist?"
Void Magic users are legend.
If she weren't born into nobility and had read so many books, she might never have heard the term Void Magic user.
"Of course it exists," Anne-Hélène laughed, "I'm the Goddess herself!"
A gleam of joy flashed in Louise's eyes: "Your Majesty, when can I master this magic?"
"As long as you want it, you'll master it soon," Anne-Hélène smiled mysteriously. "Louise, would you drop out to help me?"
"Help Your Majesty?" Louise froze, then bowed again. "Louise pledges her loyalty to Your Majesty!"
"Good," Anne-Hélène nodded, helping Louise up. "I plan to unify the continent and end the wars between nations. Louise, let's conquer the world together."
Hearing this, Louise's mind rang "one-seven-zero" with a deafening buzz.
Unify the continent?
Has Your Majesty gone mad?
Torstein isn't a powerful nation—how could unifying the world even be possible?
Even with her added, it's still impossible.
She's just a clumsy magician who can't even cast a proper spell.
Even if, as Anne-Hélène said, she is a Void Magic user and has mastered that magic—
How could that possibly crush the world and unify the continent?
As a magician, Louise understood better than anyone the power of magic.
One against ten thousand? Impossible!
One against a thousand? Highly doubtful.
In fact, being able to fight one against a hundred already makes you a genius among magicians.
You know, the fighter planes of World War II are known in this world as Dragon's Feather Garments, and they are considered unrivaled divine artifacts.
By comparison, one can see just how weak a mage's combat ability really is.
"Could Your Majesty's divine power have awakened?" Louise suddenly thought of a possibility and asked.
Anne-Hélène: "Just assume it has."
She touched Louise's forehead with one finger, transmitting the Immortal Wu Gong body scroll and the first level of the true qi scroll.
"This is the method of becoming a god from my awakened memories. I give you some of it to help you master magic; once we unify the world, I'll pass on the next stages."
Louise, though raised with her since childhood, was born into nobility.
Anne-Hélène understood nobles all too well.
Nobles always place family interests first—they can be used, and even trusted somewhat, but never fully trusted.
Thus, Anne-Hélène did not reveal the full truth, but concealed it.
"This is the method of becoming a god?" Louise stared at Anne-Hélène in shock, never imagining she would directly grant a technique of this rank.
Anne-Hélène nodded: "Yes. Louise, cultivate diligently. When you succeed, I'll appoint you to command the Divine Guard. Once we unify the world, you too will be remembered through eternity, as I am."
"Yes."
Louise was overwhelmed with excitement and tried to bow again in gratitude, but Anne-Hélène held her back.
They chatted for a while longer before Louise rose to take her leave.
