Chapter 635: Sun Wukong: Billions Know the Title of Bimawen?! (1/7, Please Subscribe)

At those words, Zixia's mind suddenly cleared.

His body transformed into a streak of spirit-light, and in the blink of an eye he had vanished without a trace.

Yang Jian and the others, upon seeing the escaping light in the sky above, exchanged a glance, summoned their magic power, and fled far away.

A place of trouble is no place to linger.

The Heavenly Court.

The Hall of Supreme Harmony.

Just as Sun Wukong broke through the void and ascended, and the fortune of Lingshan plummeted, the Jade Emperor also sensed the changes throughout the Three Realms.

This time, the backlash of Lingshan's fortune was far more severe than what the Heavenly Court had suffered back then.

The Heavenly Court back then had merely lost face and fortune.

But Lingshan had been reduced directly to a wasteland, with not a single Jin Gang or Luo Han surviving.

"The Tathagata thought he had calculated every thread of heavenly mystery and saw an advantage to seize, but he never expected Jin Chanzi to play him with a hidden hand." The Jade Emperor's expression was calm, but anyone with eyes could see he was extremely pleased within.

The Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King's hand was trembling; the precious pagoda in his grasp nearly slipped from his hold.

"Fortunately, my ties with Lingshan were not deep, otherwise I fear I would have died an unexplained death beneath the backlash of fortune."

As he was thinking, he heard a heavenly general deliver a report.

"Reporting to the Heavenly Lord, the True Lord Erlang and the gods have returned!"

"Summon them in!" the Jade Emperor said calmly.

The next moment, the Erlang God and the Four Heavenly Kings entered the hall.

"Your Majesty, this general is incompetent; I did not manage to intervene in the Western Journey plan." Yang Jian said with cupped fists.

The Four Heavenly Kings also cupped their fists and pleaded guilty.

The Jade Emperor waved his hand: "No matter. As for the Western Journey plan, after today it no longer exists."

After all, the very core of the Western Journey plan was the Pillar of Heaven Divine Stone.

Now that the Pillar of Heaven Divine Stone has flown away, if the Tathagata were to carry out the Western Journey plan again, wouldn't that be throwing away his face for nothing a second time?

"Great Heavenly Lord, what this minister worries about most now is the whereabouts of the Pillar of Heaven Divine Stone." Taibai Jinxing stepped forward. "The Pillar of Heaven has shifted, fortune has transferred; this is no good thing for the Heavenly Court either."

The Jade Emperor sighed: "How could I not know this? It's just that with the Pillar of Heaven's shift, even the heavenly mechanism cannot divine it; how then could we interfere?"
