Chapter 312: Another Year of Honghe Awards

Regarding *Late Spring*, it can be considered a film that Lu Yan He participated in to a very high degree.

Mainly because he met Liu Bige and Miao Yue every three days, and they were always very concerned about his opinions and often chatted about the script.

Not to mention *Late Spring*, they chatted a lot about points other than *Late Spring*.

Liu Bige said: "The production budget of *Late Spring* is not high, only 10 million was given. It is hard to say whether the publicity budget will be added later."

"It's okay, filming this movie, 10 million is enough, right?" Lu Yan He asked.

Liu Bige: "About the same."

Lu Yan He's pay for starring in this film is only 1 million, which is far lower than his current market price.

This is because everyone knows that no matter how *Late Spring* is, the box office will not be high, and Lu Yan He does not want to increase the burden on Liu Bige and them.

If his pay is high, then Liu Bige's pressure to ask for money from Long Yan Film Industry will be greater.

No need.

Long Yan is now clearly spending money to cultivate Liu Bige, treating him as his own person, so he also shoots low-cost literary films—of course, if Lu Yan He didn't star, this 10 million might have to be discounted several times.

And the focus is also on the word "cultivate".

They didn't look forward to *Late Spring* being able to make money for them at all.

It has nothing to do with Liu Bige being a newcomer director, but the script of *Late Spring* doesn't look like a commercial film and can't sell well.

Lu Yan He and Liu Bige also know this very well. Therefore, when talking about production costs, they also talk about how to save expenses from time to time.

Except for Lu Yan He's 1 million pay, plus Wen Minglan coming to guest star in a role with few scenes, giving 100,000 pay, other actors are 20,000 or 30,000. The proportion of pay in the production budget of the whole film is less than 20%.

This is to make this film better. Use the best shooting team to make this film.

Liu Bige said: "I invited Teacher Bao Liang as the photographer."

"Teacher Bao Liang?" Lu Yan He's eyes lit up.

Bao Liang's fame is so great that even Lu Yan He has heard of him.

He is the premier film photographer in China and has won many big awards.

His pay for filming a movie is definitely higher than Lu Yan He, the number one actor.

But this is definitely worth it.

*Late Spring* is a film that needs a photographer too much. Because this is a film with many emotional details, every character has their own hidden thoughts. The film is a web woven by the interweaving of these hidden thoughts, and in the end, it ends up with nothing.

"It talks about the hidden restlessness of teenagers in adolescence, endless noise, and the mood that is as fragile as a bubble and ends up with nothing."

Liu Bige printed such a sentence on the title page of the script, so that everyone who opened the script saw this sentence at first glance.

"This is the core of this film." Liu Bige emphasized this to everyone, "I hope everyone in each department will keep this in mind."

A newcomer director doesn't have his own long-term cooperative team, which also means that people in each department are actually cooperating for the first time. How is everyone's technology, how is their ability, and whether it is easy to cooperate, these are unknowns, and unknowns mean that Liu Bige actually doesn't have such great control over his crew.

March is still a season of spring cold, and the cold is still cold.

When at school, Lu Yan He usually wears a down jacket or cotton-padded jacket, but some people are not afraid of the cold and have already put on jackets, and some are even more exaggerated, only wearing a long-sleeved T-shirt.

This evening, the Honghe Award ceremony.

Lu Yan He walked on the red carpet of the Honghe Awards in a black suit, tie, and a regular dress, seeing those actresses wearing flying dress skirts, swaying in the wind, like a blooming flower, but what he thought in his head was, it is estimated that it is cold enough.

Jiang Yuqian appeared behind him. After walking the red carpet, she quickly caught up with him.

"Little Lu."

"Sister Yuqian."

Lu Yan He saw Jiang Yuqian holding her arms with both hands, and her lips were a little white.

"Is it cold? Sister Yuqian?" he asked.

He hesitated, whether to take off his coat and put it on Jiang Yuqian.

Jiang Yuqian nodded, "I didn't expect the temperature to drop so much at night. It's okay, my assistant got me a coat, and she is already waiting for me inside."

She signaled to the camera behind her and said: "You can't take off your clothes and give them to me at this time, otherwise there will definitely be a lot of scandals about us on the internet."

Lu Yan He nodded.

Jiang Yuqian: "Do you know? Jingtai came to me, wanting me to act in the second season of *Friends*."

"Ah?" Lu Yan He was stunned, a little surprised.

Jiang Yuqian: "I said, Lu Yan He doesn't act, you should also find a male actor to fill his position. Why are you looking for me to act? Guess what they said?"

Lu Yan He shook his head.

"They said, if I am willing to act, let the screenwriter tailor a role for me, and also guarantee that I am the absolute heroine." Jiang Yuqian said with a smile.

Lu Yan He's eyebrows couldn't help but wrinkle.

Jiang Yuqian: "I refused directly, and I also said very directly, they can think so, which shows that they don't know why this play is liked by so many young people. If an absolute protagonist appears in this play, then it is not *Friends*."

Lu Yan He looked at Jiang Yuqian with some surprise.

He really didn't expect that Jiang Yuqian would say this to Jingtai.

"It's a pity, you wrote the script for the first season so well, and did so many excessive things to you, now it is completely writing the script for the second season in a dog-tail-to-sable way." Jiang Yuqian complained.

Lu Yan He smiled and said: "It's okay, let them shoot. Anyway, with the foundation of the first season, the ratings of the second season will not be bad."

"Then I think you underestimate the audience. The ratings of the first season are high, which can only say that the ratings of the first episode of the second season will definitely not be bad. You are a weekly drama. The first episode is not attractive, and the second episode is watched again. If it is still rotten, who will continue to watch it." Jiang Yuqian said to Lu Yan He while walking into the inner field.

In the rest area of the artists, many people are chatting.

Lu Yan He and Jiang Yuqian appeared together, immediately attracting the attention of many people.

"Why did you two come in together?" Huang Kairen walked over first and asked with a smile.

"I walked the red carpet behind him, and we bumped into each other." Jiang Yuqian said to Huang Kairen while looking around, nodding to acquaintances, "I thought you wouldn't come, why did you come?"

"The Honghe Award invited me to be a guest, and it's not that I really can't come, how can I not come." Huang Kairen shook his head.

Jiang Yuqian slanted at him and smiled.

This year, neither of them had nominations. However, because they are both popular first-tier big stars, the Honghe Award invited both of them to serve as award-presenting guests this year.

For them, coming to the Honghe Award is of course an activity to maintain exposure, but on the other hand, running over without a nomination makes them feel a bit faceless for actors who have some pursuits, and they would rather not come.

Their attitude towards this matter is almost exactly the same, and they also understand what the other party is thinking.

Stars are like this.

When not popular, thinking about how to be popular, to be recognized by the audience.

When popular, want to be more solid, more confident, and stand straighter.

In the nomination list for the four performance awards of the Honghe Award this year, Lu Yan He is still the youngest.

He also received the enthusiasm of being loved by his predecessors in the audience.

This time, many people said that in the future, Lu Yan He's scripts can be found at any time, and they can act as protagonists or supporting roles.

Lu Yan He was flattered.

Everyone was surprised by his being flattered—what do you have to be flattered about? *Friends* is so popular, don't you know how much attention your next play will receive?

In this entertainment industry, the new work of a screenwriter with a big hit is a script that all actors fight for.

You know, there are several popular actors every year, but not every year there are screenwriters with big hits writing new works.

Anyone's book is a big piece of fat meat that is highly concerned by the industry, the kind that everyone wants to take a bite of.

There are also many people who ask him about the new work he is preparing.

Lu Yan He only pushed that he had received several plays written by others, and his energy this year would be placed on filming these works.

It was hard to wait until the awards ceremony was about to start, and Lu Yan He was able to get away.

The Best Supporting Actor award, without a trace of surprise, was won by Teacher Li Songfan who became popular in the suspense drama *Claiming Illness* last year.

Lu Yan He applauded and congratulated him.

Teacher Li Songfan went on stage to receive the award, his eyes were very red, he held the trophy tightly, and said: "I have been tossing and turning in this line for more than 20 years, and finally stepped on the podium. Thank you, thank you judges! Thank you my colleagues, thank you the excellent actors who were nominated with me, especially Yan He, you are still a screenwriter, remember to find me if you have a play in the future."

His eyes fell on Lu Yan He, and the whole audience laughed.

Lu Yan He put his hands together and nodded to him, saying okay with a smile.

The results of the subsequent awards almost didn't have too many surprises and accidents, all of which were hot candidates.

The only thing that attracted everyone's attention was the competition for Best Actress of the year.

Except for an old drama bone who was not very famous, the other four nominees for Best Actress of the year were all popular big heroines, and each performance was commendable, and each had a group of supporters and support on the internet.

Finally, the winner was Xu Yiren. On the big screen played simultaneously at the scene, the expressions of other nominees were being broadcast live. Another nominee, Lu Sui, actually couldn't control her expression management. After hearing Xu Yiren's name, she rolled her eyes directly, and then reacted, and hurriedly showed an awkward smile that was uglier than crying.

Everyone could only silently pretend not to see it.

Lu Yan He was also surprised by this scene and opened his eyes in surprise.

After the awards ceremony, Lu Yan He received a call from Jiang Yuqian, asking if he had time, and if he had time, let's get together.

Jiang Yuqian organized a game and pulled a lot of friends who attended the Honghe Award ceremony to participate.

There was Huang Kairen, and Lu Sui who rolled her eyes.

When Lu Yan He arrived, many people had already arrived.

Lu Sui was talking.

She looked helpless and a bit annoyed.

"This is really my own fault. I really couldn't hold it back, but you know, it's okay for anyone to win the award. I didn't roll my eyes because I didn't win the award. I just hate Xu Yiren. There is a 'benevolence' (Ren) in the name, but people are really not benevolent. Sigh." Lu Sui was very depressed.

"Now the internet is stirred up by your white eyes, and it is arguing endlessly." Someone else said, "You have to be prepared, Sui Sui, maybe her fans will start cyber-bullying you."

"That's fine, anyway, I've been used to it for the past few years." Lu Sui sighed, "Since I debuted in the same play as her, the war between me and her has never stopped, and the experience of fighting is too rich."

"It's okay, where is this, there are Golden Tripod Awards and Blue Ribbon Awards later, who will win the award later is unknown. She just won an award, and your reputation in the early stage is not worse than hers."

"I just hope that I will never be nominated for the same award as her again." Lu Sui said depressedly.

Lu Yan He smiled and greeted everyone, and then was introduced to Lu Sui by Jiang Yuqian.

Lu Sui's face was still a bit frustrated, but when she saw Lu Yan He, she immediately showed a smile, a heart-blooming smile.

"Oh, Yan He! I didn't want to come originally. Jiang Yuqian told me you would come, so I came." Lu Sui said to him, "Let's add a friend, finally have a chance to know."

Lu Yan He hurriedly nodded to Lu Sui and said: "Hello, Sister Sui."

Lu Sui glared at Lu Yan He and said: "Don't call me Sister Sui, call me Little Sui, or call me Sui Sui."

Jiang Yuqian immediately rolled her eyes at her, "Little Lu is only twenty years old, don't let him call blindly."

Lu Sui: "I, I am just seven, eight, or nine years older than her, how is it calling blindly?"

Jiang Yuqian shook her head speechlessly and said to Lu Yan He: "Don't ignore her."

Someone next to him said with a smile: "When Lu Yan He first became popular, Lu Sui said that Lu Yan He was her favorite type."

"As long as you are handsome, you are all her favorite type. I have heard no less than 100 types she likes." Someone immediately followed.

Jiang Yuqian laughed loudly.

Lu Sui immediately shouted: "Don't bring such dismantling! I see Little Lu for the first time!"

Lu Yan He faced these women and didn't know how to deal with them for a while.

Huang Kairen finally came to the rescue.

"Don't recruit Little Lu, people have a girlfriend." He joked with a smile, "The relationship is very good."

"Know, know, just a joke." The person who spoke and laughed before immediately said, "Little Lu, don't mind, we are just running the train with our mouths full when we get together."

Lu Yan He just laughed.

In this kind of occasion, he didn't know how to speak, so he laughed, and it was easier to deal with, that was enough.

Eat something, fill your stomach, everyone has already drunk.

Lu Yan He then went to find Jiang Yuqian.

"Sister Yuqian, the play I told you before, are you interested?" ===== CHAPTER 313 =====
