Chapter 670: Tough

"So they invited me to appear in this movie *Doomsday*, does it have nothing to do with you?"

On the phone, Jiang Yuqian asked with surprise.

She didn't seem to believe Lu Yan He's denial.

Lu Yan He had to explain with a smile: "It really has nothing to do with me. They had their eyes on you early on. I actually started to intervene in the *Doomsday* movie project from a month ago."

Jiang Yuqian: "Okay, although you said so—"

Lu Yan He said: "If I had known earlier that you were determined to star in *Doomsday*, I wouldn't have pushed the *Red Eye Flight* project so quickly. Now I have to coordinate the time between the two sides, and I can't let the filming time of the two projects collide."

Jiang Yuqian: "I have taken on two female lead projects in Hollywood, and both are related to you. It seems that no matter where I go, I have to take advantage of you."

Lu Yan He smiled and asked: "Sister Yuqian, what have you been doing lately?"

"Filming advertisements, participating in some activities to maintain exposure, and promoting *The Call*," Jiang Yuqian said. "Have you seen the film *The Call*?"

"Not yet," Lu Yan He said. "Have you seen it?"

"I have only seen some clips, and haven't seen it completely," Jiang Yuqian said. "I hope the box office can exceed 100 million. Last time I appeared in *Behind the Golden Clothes 2*, the box office performance was okay, taking more than 80 million, and the movie earned more than 10 million, but I was ridiculed by many people for not being able to carry the box office. So angry."

Lu Yan He: "The box office of *The Call* should be quite good, don't worry. This kind of theme has a lot of topics, but the reputation will definitely not be very good."

"Ah? The reputation will not be very good?"

"This kind of film involving sci-fi, different time and space, revenge, and some bloody past is definitely not a type that everyone thinks is good," Lu Yan He said. "However, in this type of film, it will definitely be included in various inventories."

Jiang Yuqian heard this and said "Hmm."

Lu Yan He said: "This movie also sold quite well overseas. The distribution rights in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, the United States, the United Kingdom, and several other countries have been sold. This kind of theme movie has fixed audiences. Plus your own fame, I estimate that you will have to run some overseas promotion by then."

The movie *The Call*, in fact, the original rating is not high, and the plot is controversial—

Of course, the biggest controversy is that the heroine Park Shin-hye's acting is very bad. This actress is really a presence similar to a certain sister in our country. Her acting skills have always been questioned, but she is lucky, her success rate in taking films is high, and she has big hits.

Jiang Yuqian's acting skills are not at a level that can't be taken out. She can't win awards, but it is definitely an acting skill that can make the audience substitute into it.

She and Wang Jing act in this movie together, Lu Yan He is not worried about acting skills at all.

In fact, everyone says that finding Jiang Yuqian to act in *The Call* is Lu Yan He taking Jiang Yuqian into the film circle.

Only Lu Yan He himself knows that after Jiang Yuqian became famous globally in *Squid Game*, she starred in *The Call*, which can promote the overseas sales of this movie with the "famous actor + specific theme" mode. Facts have also proved that this movie *The Call*, although it has not been released in China, has attracted the attention of several overseas film merchants because of such a combination mode. After the movie was filmed, overseas film merchants came to pre-purchase this movie.

The role of stars in movies, many people don't know how to use, so they blame stars for not being able to carry the box office.

However, if stars really don't help the movie box office, how can they be paid such high salaries?

People may have fools, but capital is rarely seen as truly stupid.

Compared with Jiang Yuqian, Jiang Jun's appearance in *Doomsday* is indeed because of Lu Yan He's struggle.

On this point, Jiang Jun also knows it well.

However, what Jiang Jun didn't expect was that Lu Yan He actually became the producer of *Doomsday*.

15% investment is not much. Why can Lu Yan He become the third-ranked producer? The most important reason is that this project played a role through Lu Yan He, let Derian Dillon join this movie, and let this movie come back to life.

These things, except for very few people, even Jiang Jun doesn't know.

But things may be like this, the less people know why, the more they will associate various things.

Now, when the domestic entertainment industry evaluates a star artist, it often says that XX artist is already capital.

In the eyes of many people, Lu Yan He is going to Hollywood to be capital.

Even if the facts are not like this, no one believes it.

After all, Jiang Jun and Jiang Yuqian are both two people who have a close relationship with Lu Yan He in everyone's eyes.

It can even be said that they are two people in his capital camp.

Lu Yan He doesn't deny this.

Indeed, Jiang Jun and Jiang Yuqian are the two actors he has cooperated with the most.

Almost no one else has cooperated more than them.

Then, it was at this time that Beijing TV Station suddenly set the date for the second season of *Seventeen Floors*.

This drama should have been broadcast in the summer of this year, but I don't know why, it was not broadcast in the end. Chen Ziyan said it was because Lu Yan He and Chen Bige didn't have time to cooperate with the drama promotion, but Lu Yan He felt that with the results of the first season of this drama, the second season could be broadcast well even without them doing drama promotion.

Deputy Station Master Jiang Lan came to see Lu Yan He in person, asking about his schedule, and wanted to invite him to cooperate with the drama promotion.

It can be said that Jiang Lan is the only person in Beijing TV Station that Lu Yan He is still willing to deal with.

Since Linghe dug Hu Siwei over, the relationship between Lu Yan He and Beijing TV Station, which was not very good, entered a more subtle and unpleasant state.

Lu Yan He said: "Station Master Jiang, I won't go to the programs in your Beijing TV Station. For other things that need cooperation, I can cooperate with whatever I can do."

Jiang Lan asked with a smile if he had a schedule to film if the third season of *Seventeen Floors* started filming next year.

Lu Yan He said: "The schedule is very tight, try to coordinate as much as possible, but I will only film until the third season. The director said before that his vision for this story is three seasons. I hope the story of our group of people can end normally in the third season. If you still want to use the *Seventeen Floors* IP to make derivative dramas, that's fine, don't bring my character out again."

Jiang Lan understood Lu Yan He's idea and nodded.

"Actually, you know, we have always wanted to repair the relationship with you."

Lu Yan He shook his head: "Station Master Jiang, to tell the truth, cooperation with you is okay, but cooperation with others in your Beijing TV Station is forget it. But even if I cooperate with you, I have to guard against being stabbed in the back by others. So, before you become the station master, I won't cooperate with Beijing TV Station on new projects."

Lu Yan He said this directly enough.

Jiang Lan also sighed in her heart that Lu Yan He is really more and more tough every year.

However, no one can do anything about him. Now Lu Yan He is not just an actor. Even the Golden Tripod Awards bumped into him and got a nose full of gray, apologizing and bowing his head.

To tell the truth, Lu Yan He is still willing to cooperate with them on the drama promotion of the second season at this time, and is willing to finish filming the third season from beginning to end, which is already full of professional ethics.

Of course, what Jiang Lan didn't expect most was that when the second season of *Seventeen Floors* was about to be broadcast, the young man who needed to rely on interest exchange to get the male lead of this drama, now unknowingly, turned the entire main creative team of *Seventeen Floors*, especially the starring actors, into his friends.

Jiang Lan really doubted that if she couldn't get support for *Seventeen Floors* from Lu Yan He, how much support would Chen Bige and Jiang Jun give to this drama.

Precisely because of this point, Jiang Lan was already very satisfied with the results achieved by coming to Lu Yan He for face-to-face communication today.

Even if Lu Yan He didn't promise anything except about *Seventeen Floors*, and clearly refused the possibility of further cooperation in the short term. ===== CHAPTER 671 =====
