Chapter 677
Explanation about the ending
I swiped to a video where a blogger named "Cang Yiwu" mentioned "Pick a Day to Become Famous" (just noticed, I've pushed this book several times before, thanks!). He mentioned that the ending of "Pick a Day to Become Famous" feels a bit difficult to close and relatively long-winded (general meaning). It just so happens that I've seen everyone more or less react to similar problems recently.
I carefully sorted it out. Maybe it was because I said before that this book has entered the ending stage, which caused a misunderstanding for everyone that this book will be finished in a few dozen chapters, but it hasn't been finished for a long time, making everyone's expectations not quite met.
My original intention was actually to say that for a long novel of nearly four million words, the story has reached the time to end here, which can be seen from the recent story content. However, it doesn't mean it can be finished in a few dozen chapters, nor am I deliberately writing it long or like foot-binding cloth.
This book has been in this style where many character dialogues occupy the main body from the beginning. There are indeed long-winded parts, but maybe this is also a style I prefer. If I don't write it this way, it seems wrong. After all, the tone of the whole novel is like this.
Learn a lesson, I won't say it's going to enter the ending part before the novel is finished in the future. This will indeed make everyone build an expectation that "the story is about to end", but in fact "the story is still continuously unfolding new branches".
As for the story continuously opening branches, my original intention was that I thought that when writing to a certain place, this branch is a "situation that might appear in the entertainment industry" that hasn't appeared before. I included it as a link to enrich this entertainment universe. But it will definitely not drag on for more than three chapters of content. Not letting them affect my main line is what I have been trying to do.
It can also be seen from my newly opened book "Sword of Demon Hunting". After continuously writing "I Became a Scandal Heroine Overnight" and "Pick a Day to Become Famous", my ideas for the entertainment theme have been exhausted. So, I have an idea of "trying to make the worldview of this story rich and full".
Whether the next book will write "Sword of Demon Hunting" into a long novel or change to another theme to write a long novel, I probably won't write an entertainment theme, I have to change my thinking.
This is also the reason why I must open "Sword of Demon Hunting" at this time. I must maintain the feel of writing "Pick a Day to Become Famous" by writing another completely different story. Otherwise, every time I hit the keyboard, it's a deep sense of burnout.
I don't know if everyone has encountered the same situation as me: every word I type feels like chewing wax. This is a situation that has appeared on me after writing a story for a long time.
In short, thank you for recommending this book to others. Thank you also for chasing it until now and still giving me feedback. Emphasize that this story has indeed entered the ending stage, but it can't be finished in a few dozen chapters. There are so many pits that haven't been filled, and I can't run away rashly.
If everyone can, help me go see the story of "Sword of Demon Hunting". It has been written for 80,000 words. Whether it's good or bad opinions, mention them, so that I can judge whether to write it into a long novel or a short novel that ends in a few hundred thousand words after "Pick a Day to Become Famous" is finished.
Please post good reviews in the comment section of the homepage, and post bad reviews in the chapter reviews (of course, if you think that book is so bad that it's not worth others clicking in to read, then pretend I didn't say it).
Thanks, good night, see you tomorrow! (End of chapter)
