Chapter 889: What about next time?

Li Zhibai's words really hit the nail on the head.

Indeed, this is something that needs to be prepared for.

Lu Yan He fell into thought.

Li Zhibai raised his hand and waved it in front of him.

"Don't think about this problem at this time, I'm still in front of you." Li Zhibai reminded.

Lu Yan He laughed.

Li Zhibai: "When can your *Men in Black* finish filming?"

"My scenes will be filmed until the end of May." Lu Yan He shrugged his shoulders, "Although the filming efficiency here is very high, because of some systems of the union, the time it can start work every day is limited. Like me, I even have time to run out to eat and chat with you. Of course, today is my rest, and my scenes were not arranged at all."

"This is indeed rare." Li Zhibai said, "A lead actor can have a day of rest during filming, it's just..."

Lu Yan He: "More than that, Sick only provides eight hours of filming time every day, and he needs to be provided with a day of rest every ten days of filming. Anyway, many things here are different from the country. When I filmed *Mist 2*, I didn't face such harsh requirements."

Li Zhibai: "Why is this? Is it specifically aimed at your *Men in Black*?"

"No, it seems that because the movie *Mist 2*, because the director is Muken, and his production company is the main production party of this movie, so the movie is not considered a movie produced by an American company during the production stage. It is just that D19 participated in the investment, which is the same as *Mist 1*, so most people can bypass some regulations and are not affected." Lu Yan He said, "But for Hollywood, these regulations have become part of the industry, and everyone needs to follow the rules, except for some independent movies, especially independent movies filmed overseas... However, speaking of which, do you know that in our movie, there is a scene at the end where many cockroaches come out of the big villain's body, including some scenes where animal actors will appear in front. Scenes with their participation even need to be supervised by people from the Animal Protection Association on site."

Li Zhibai: "Do it like this?"

"Yes."

"Do they do this for every movie?"

"Of course not, how can they supervise it? In fact, it is often movies like *Men in Black* that are very eye-catching at the beginning of filming that will attract their attention." Lu Yan He shrugged his shoulders, "But in my opinion, it is essentially to make money. Fortunately, production management is not done by me, otherwise, for some regulations, I really feel that it is four words, unnecessary."

Li Zhibai: "Then what will you do if you produce movies in Hollywood in the future?"

"Find people who are very adapted to local filming rules and requirements to cooperate." Lu Yan He shrugged his shoulders, "Moreover, Wan Qingqing and Song Jiang being arranged here is actually to develop here. They have gradually gained a foothold here now."

Li Zhibai nodded.

"Your steps are still much faster than many people." Li Zhibai said, "Now these people chasing and imitating the road you have walked are already what you walked several years ago."

"That's also because they don't have the opportunity I have." Lu Yan He finished this sentence, then thought of someone who once had such an opportunity to try to take a step forward, and added, "Of course, some people met it, but didn't dare to grasp it."

Li Zhibai said: "Yan Liang and I haven't figured out the production company in the country yet."

Lu Yan He asked: "How is your family's production company now?"

"Made two projects, one with a larger investment, one with a smaller investment, both done by ourselves. The total production budget is about 150 million. Of course, we also found people from outside to invest together, not sole proprietorship." Li Zhibai said, "Now it hasn't been made yet. As a result, communicating and contacting with the platform, the platform's purchase indicators and funds for copyright dramas are getting less and less every year. Like my family's new company that didn't have relationships on the platform and TV station before, without hard relationships, people don't say they don't buy it, anyway, just hang you, waiting to see the finished product."

"No booking fee either?"

Even for copyright dramas, in the current market, it is generally often booked by relying on the creative team before the official start of filming, and a booking fee is obtained.

Of course, sometimes there will be a situation where the booking platform is different from the final broadcast platform—for example, sold by platform A to platform B.

Li Zhibai shook his head, "These two dramas really don't have it. It's not that there is no platform willing to book, but the price is too low, and my family's company is certainly not willing to accept it. However, you also know that these two dramas didn't invite the kind of actors who can definitely pass the meeting—every platform has a list in their hands, so the bargaining chip is not in my family's company, so it is very passive."

"This is really..." Lu Yan He hesitated for a while and said: "Then do you want me to say hello to Beijiguang or Bingyuan, at least let them evaluate these two dramas normally."

"No, if I need to say hello, I would have gone myself." Li Zhibai said, "I feel that my family's company is a bit too confident. Let them hit the south wall. At worst, they will lose money. Entering a new industry, how can you not spend money to pay tuition? I said hello this time, and relied on human feelings to help them sell the drama. What about next time?" ===== CHAPTER 890 =====
