So bright it was, so dazzling.

Everywhere between heaven and earth was bathed in a dim yellow light, yet every god and every demon-race powerhouse felt only pitch darkness. Divine sense could not make it out, eyes could not see it. They gazed in all four directions, and all was pitch black, without a single thread of light.

They could only feel an extremity of terror manifest in the sky, descending openly to crush and slay!

It was an existence like a black hole.

That flying sword had devoured a star, devoured countless heavenly materials and earthly treasures, and its mass had already reached a terrifying level. The gravitational pull derived from that mass was unimaginably powerful—it devoured light, devoured rules, and even devoured the divine thoughts of many Supreme beings, forcibly dragging them into darkness.

Boundless fear rose in the hearts of every god and demon powerhouse.

They were facing a fully grown Hegemon of the Endless Starry Skies!

How could there possibly be any chance of victory?!!

"Kill!"

"Today, resist and die; do not resist and still die. Can we simply wait for death?"

"How could we be so cowardly!"

The Sun God Lord flew into a rage, his face hideous, and roared: "Don't you see? He's wounded, gravely wounded!"

"Internal strife is a flaw the human race can never root out!"

"Was that thunder palm-print imbued with the aura of ten thousand laws indestructible somehow false? He must be in a state of grave injury; he is merely forcing his sick body to hold on, trying to frighten us!"

"Kill!"

"Charge! Charge, charge…"

The Sun God Lord roared furiously, using blazing fury to drive the fear from the hearts of the many god-path and demon-race powerhouses.

Then, paying no heed to the others, he leapt onto the Sun Chariot, and with a host of Sun Gods and countless Sun God troops, took the initiative to launch a counter-charge against the terrifying black hole in the sky.

Death without return, regardless of victory or defeat, life or death!

The Sun God Lord, across many eras, had been called the War God by the living beings of heaven and earth!

"Kill!"

The Sun Gods roared, killing intent piercing the heavens.

They transformed themselves into the Sun Chariot. Between heaven and earth appeared scene after scene of golden crows soaring into the sky, scorching and lashing the endless starry skies with terrifying force—one sun took the initiative to charge against a Dharma-Ending Sun that resembled a black hole.

This ferocious scene instantly jolted the powerhouses of every race awake.

"Brother Sun speaks truly! How can the Bixi race die in cowardly disgrace?"

The Bixi Demon Sovereign burst into wild laughter.

He leapt forth, arriving later yet first, actually overtaking the Sun Gods. Together with many of his clansmen, he bore stars upon his back, becoming with ultimate hardness and force both the shield and the spear of the army, taking the very front to face the most dangerous and terrifying place!

The Wind and Rain God Venerable and the others likewise awoke. They spoke no more, only letting their furious killing intent bloom.

All the god-path and demon-race forces struck at once, forming a super composite grand formation. Eight-Tribulation Supremes, and the full strength of every race's most elite powerhouses, erupted completely, merging into a single whole. The formation's might instantly swelled and leapt, in an instant breaking past the Eight-Tribulation Supreme limit and drawing close to Nine-Tribulation Supreme.

Nine-Tribulation Supreme!

This was a unique term, referring to one who does not create immortal scriptures, does not define the constants of an immortal-path universe, or has no great achievement on this path, but who, by sheer force, arts, military formations, bloodlines, and other means, forcibly reaches Emperor-level combat power. Even if not equal to an Emperor, they are at least in the same great-realm category of combat power as an Emperor—a terrifying existence.

Not every true immortal was a Nine-Tribulation Supreme; they did not walk this path.

Yet every adult true immortal necessarily possessed Nine-Tribulation Supreme combat power, for they were Hegemons of the Endless Starry Skies, born able to suppress vast stretches of starry sky!

The hearts of all the god-path and demon-race Supremes hardened like iron, killing intent filling their chests. They immediately ignited their god-path cores, ignited their bloodline essence, resolute and leaving no retreat.

A terrifying rules-domain grand formation appeared between heaven and earth, as if it had created a primordial universe. In the sky, sun and moon emerged from the chaos, followed by wind and rain. The gods of the Wind and Rain Divine Court each unleashed their divine power; spiritual energy and the world began to flow. The Supremes of the Bixi Immortal Clan suppressed the starry sky, forming a solid earth…

Every single god-path and demon-race Supreme was fighting with their lives!

The universe born from chaos thundered into motion. The positions of the Sun God Lord and the Lunar God Lord each became two great millstones—one yin, one yang—rotating toward the black-hole sun in the sky to grind it between them, as if the great god Pangu were turning a newborn universe to obliterate an outsider evil god.

That all-devouring black-hole sun happened to fall right onto the Heaven and Earth Yin-Yang Great Millstone, and for an instant grew rigid—not a rigidity of the soul's misperception, but a subtle stalling of time in the Kaiyang Star Domain. The myriad great Daos were all affected.

All rules fell into utter chaos.

Heaven and earth stalled for an extremely brief instant, then began to turn again.

The Heaven and Earth Yin-Yang Great Millstone rotated, unleashing supreme majestic power. Lunar, solar, wind and rain, earth… every kind of heaven-and-earth rule madly surged toward the millstone's center, only to be ground into streams of spiritual light. The power spilling out caused the entire universe and starry sky to tremble. Many great thousand worlds and Minor Thousand Worlds rocked like great ships upon monstrous waves.

This was the death-defying battle of the Sun God Lord and the other Eight-Tribulation god-path Supremes, bearing their respective forces and every powerhouse of their races, burning themselves!

"This God Lord does not believe it!"

"Do you mean to say that even such resolve cannot shake a true immortal who has just ascended and is now gravely wounded and on the brink of death?!!"

The Sun God Lord's pupils were blood-red as he roared madly.

Rumble rumble rumble—

Heaven and earth quaked. Under the rotation of the Heaven and Earth Yin-Yang Great Millstone, the black-hole sun falling near the Nine Heavens finally showed a change—the unstoppable momentum of its fall at last came to a halt.

The black-hole sun was rotated by the Heaven and Earth Yin-Yang Great Millstone. Sharp rays of Dharma-Ending Sun light were ground out across its surface—it showed light for the first time, no longer a black hole devouring all rules and matter. Its form was exposed before the eyes of all.

It was a terrifying sun of a dim yellow hue, merged with the authority of the Great Dao of Law Annihilation, like the very essence of the universe's Great Dao of Law Annihilation, ceaselessly spinning, contending against the omnipresent Heaven and Earth Yin-Yang Millstone.

At times the plasma-like radiance on the outer layer of the black-hole sun was ground away by the Heaven and Earth Yin-Yang Millstone.

At times, the Heaven and Earth Yin-Yang Millstone was scorched and torn apart by the black-hole sun, and chunks of fragments radiating black-and-white yin-yang auras fell down, pierced through by the Law-Annihilating Sun's billions of rays of light, and reduced to fine powder.

The Dao and Laws of both sides were entangled together, locked in a frenzied slaughter, causing this stretch of starry sky to overturn as if heaven and earth had been upended, throwing the coordinates of the various Major Thousand Worlds and Minor Thousand Worlds into chaos, rendering numerous super long-distance teleportation arrays instantly ineffective, requiring the recalibration of the universe's relative coordinates before they could be used again.
