Chapter 400: Soul Transformation Policy

"Delivery?"

Jiang Ding opened his eyes, recalled the matter in his mind, and immediately understood.

He extended his divine sense and signed his name on the delivery slip of the elite kingfisher.

"Wish you a happy cultivation life."

The elite kingfisher flapped its wings and departed.

Jiang Ding focused his divine sense on a delivery box; strips of tape tore open on their own, the cardboard box and foam separated, and a... ultra-large-screen television appeared before his eyes, complete with its own power supply and signal reception equipment.

"I actually want to watch television!"

"Could it be that I'm getting old?"

Jiang Ding was also somewhat shocked by this and quickly shook his head: "Impossible, I'm only sixteen. It's perfectly normal for a sixteen-year-old to like watching television."

He casually turned on the television; it was a news channel, where a host wearing a Daoist robe was speaking in front of a globe.

"This news report: Early this morning, a major flying vehicle collision accident occurred in the western region of Xian Du, causing massive property losses for citizens. Fortunately, there were no casualties..."

The empty and desolate mining area dormitory suddenly gained some human presence, seeming a bit warmer.

Feeling much better.

Jiang Ding sensed his current mood and fell silent immediately.

"I seem... to have become a bit more fragile."

There are fewer things to rely on.

His gaze temporarily fixed on the television.

"The Ganghan Small Realm has been fully cleared and has officially entered the large-scale development phase. Over the next hundred years, funding and allocations for various industries within the Immortal Sect will be more generous..."

"According to reliable sources, the veteran elder of the Immortal Sect with outstanding military merits, Master Dinghai Master Dinghai Zhenjun, after receiving his Soul Transformation opportunity, has entered seclusion. Within several hundred years, there is a certain probability that the Immortal Sect will gain another Master Canghai Canghai Tianjun."

"Many experts speculate that if Master Dinghai Master Dinghai Zhenjun can advance to Soul Transformation, what kind of Soul Transformation Policy he might propose, and what huge fluctuations various stock markets across all industries will experience."

"Relevant investors have all expressed that investment over these several hundred years should lean more towards conservatism; holding large amounts of cash flow is the true way..."

"Soul Transformation Policy?"

Jiang Ding searched the network for this term he had never seen before.

【Soul Transformation Policy: Whenever the Immortal Sect births a Soul Transformation cultivator, that Soul Transformation cultivator has the right to propose a policy affecting the entire Immortal Sect, and the Immortal Sect will expend massive resources to attempt its execution until encountering irresistible obstacles.】

【Typically, the proposal of a Soul Transformation Policy is often related to the path of the newly advanced Soul Transformation cultivator. A Soul Transformation Canghai Tianjun who cultivated Mu Xi Gong Fa once used the Soul Transformation Policy to promote the robust growth of industries such as Mu Xi Gong Fa, Mu Xi spiritual plants, and Mu Xi pills, thereby nourishing his own cultivation. Examples include Ancestor Xiong Mao Hua Hua Lingling and the Immortal Sect's spiritual bamboo industry. The same applies to Soul Transformation Tianjuns possessing other Qi Ta Gong Fa and special magical treasures.】

【Every appearance of a Soul Transformation Policy causes huge impacts on all industries within the Immortal Sect.】

【Furthermore, the emergence of a Soul Transformation Policy is also related to the political philosophy of the Soul Transformation Canghai Tianjun.】

【For example, when Cang Hai Canghai Tianjun was in the Nascent Soul stage, he was an aggressive hawk. His Soul Transformation Policy was to disregard sacrifices from both himself and the enemy, using the massive deaths of enemy and friendly Soul Transformation and Nascent Soul cultivators to intimidate the enemy, preventing them from initiating the final decisive battle, thereby allowing the Immortal Sect to expand its territory. The Cang Hai Small Realm and several other small realms at that time came into existence because of this, and the influence persists to this day.】

【Another example: The Xu Family Soul Transformation cultivator, who had immense attachment to his family. His Soul Transformation Policy encouraged the formation of families of various sizes within the Immortal Sect, ensuring bloodline inheritance never ceases. This policy was abolished one thousand years after its proposal, yet its impact on the Immortal Sect persists to this day.】

【And there is the Soul Transformation Policy of the current ruling Yuan of the Immortal Sect, allying with Wuxingtian Sect...】

"Soul Transformation Policy, a good thing."

Jiang Ding fell into thought: "If I can advance to Soul Transformation, the Soul Transformation Policy should be used to encourage the Immortal Sect to develop the sword cultivator lineage, increasing reliable sword path cultivators as the Immortal Sect's close-quarters combat force. The research and development of the sword path cannot rely solely on the Immortal Sect's policies and my investment; civilian forces must also join in to reduce costs and even generate profit."

"Or, to a greater extent, open up quotas for ascension and immigration from small realms for those with excellent moral character, talent, military merits, and supreme comprehension."

"Even Brother Brother Xuanwu's Heavenly Palace can draw talent from small realms for its own use; the Immortal Sect cannot fall behind."

"In the future, this will become a huge hidden danger."

"Watching more news is correct; it increases knowledge and understanding of the Immortal Sect, preventing oneself from becoming a closed-off old fossil."

Jiang Ding calmed his mind and continued watching.

"Tianfang Group's stock price continues to rise, launching a new generation of aerospace fighter jet military array connection array interface. The operational efficiency of Foundation Establishment military arrays has increased by 0.5%, the second time in five hundred years."

"Relevant experts believe this is an undeniable advantage of the family system: orderly inheritance. For thousands of years, Tianfang Group has deeply cultivated the manufacturing of military arrays, aerospace fighter jets, and warship components, releasing new achievements every few hundred years, pushing Immortal Sect Daoist technology forward time and again..."

Jiang Ding frowned.

It seemed impossible to refute.

When the Xu Family proposed the Family Policy back then, it also underwent layer upon layer of deliberation by the Immortal Sect before being approved.

The result was the shaping of a large number of families, big and small, deeply cultivating a specific segment of an industry chain, reaching the pinnacle in a small direction, and thus reaping massive orders.

Part of the profits obtained were used to maintain their own family's cultivation, while another part continued to be invested in research and development, creating thick industry barriers and maintaining technological leadership.

"This is indeed the advantage of technical families."

"Scattered cultivator teams cannot compare."

Jiang Ding sighed, unable to deny this point.

Immediately, a cold light flashed in his eyes.

"But it can only be like this. If we let them grow too large, spreading like cancer cells into other fields and controlling various industries of the Immortal Sect, it will ultimately lead to the destruction of both the Immortal Sect and them; everyone will be a loser."

After watching television for a total of one hour, he turned it off and continued with his own affairs.

Another delivery box was opened.

Intense sword qi spiritual light diffused involuntarily, capable of easily piercing the shields of Qi Refining cultivators. It took a long time to dissipate, revealing the item inside.

Thirteen crimson flying swords, each with a straight, dark blue light running through their center line.

About a chi in length, with intense and sharp spiritual light flashing intermittently on the blade edges, emitting an aura approaching the third tier, far surpassing supreme magical artifacts, yet still seemingly distant from true magical treasures.

"Dao Soldier · Tian Chong Guang Yao Yang Electromagnetic Sword!"

Jiang Ding picked up one of the crimson flying swords; friction with the wind produced a buzzing sound. "Approaching the third tier, this is the matching flying sword for the 'Electromagnetic Version · Tian Chong Guang Yao Yang Sword Classic.' Dao Soldiers can be inherited and refined, not belonging exclusively to one person. Over generations, they continuously strengthen. Hundreds or thousands of years later, they can still accompany the Great Sun Sword Disciple in battle as Dao Soldiers."

Clang!

The blue-gold tree formed by the Taiqing Flying Swords rang sharply; branches hung down, and massive amounts of sword qi and magic power flowed into it continuously, leaving imprints and performing initial refinement upon it.

Only after more than a month did the light of refinement gradually subside.

The blue-gold tree dimmed somewhat, and Jiang Ding's face also turned a bit pale.

Looking down, the thirteen crimson flying swords shimmered with even greater vitality; the straight, deep-blue light within them grew more conspicuous, as if the electromagnetic force were about to erupt and make them vanish.

"The Great Sun Sword Disciple consumes time, amplifying the power of the Dao soldiers under his command and reducing the difficulty of controlling the military formation."

"With just thirteen Dao soldiers cultivating the 'Electromagnetic Version: Heaven's Light Shines on the Sun Sword Scripture,' wielding these flying swords, even if they are only at the mid-stage of Foundation Establishment, unleashing near-third-tier strength is no problem."

Jiang Ding muttered to himself.

"It is time to clean up the security in Master Tushan Xiancheng."
