Chapter 21

What's the use of you learning it? It has to be able to do it to be useful. Unfortunately, it can't.

Chat room.

Lance: "Golem is taken down, but it's not time to celebrate yet. That guy Giovanni is going to get serious."

Bruno: "Based on my understanding of Giovanni, a guy with a small heart, he's probably going to use his main Pokémon, at least they must be reserves."

Lorelei: "Heh, using main Pokémon against a rookie, he's really shameless."

Giovanni: "I'm not shameless, I just have an incomparable desire for victory."

Koga: "Yo ho, you're quite good at gilding your own face."

Giovanni: "Heh."

【Giovanni's second Pokémon appeared.】

【The whole body is gray, with a sharp drill horn on its head, standing on two legs, with armor on its neck, and a large and powerful tail.】

【Rhydon, also known as the drill-horned rhino, although not among Giovanni's six main Pokémon, it is also one of Giovanni's most commonly used Pokémon. Its strength is by no means comparable to Golem.】

【As soon as Rhydon appeared, Ash and Pikachu became serious. They felt the pressure brought by Rhydon.】

【"Mew."】

【"Mew."】

【The "Ralts" who had been watching the game quietly finally couldn't help it and started to cheer for Pikachu loudly.】

【"Mew?"】

【"Is Ralts's cry like this?" Giovanni frowned, suspecting that he had auditory hallucinations.】

【Gently shaking his head, Giovanni refocused his attention on the game.】

【Rocks the size of soccer balls appeared in the battlefield. Accompanied by Rhydon's roar, several rocks hit Pikachu together.】

【Rhydon's first attack—Rock Blast.】

【Surrounded from all directions by rocks, there's no way to dodge, so he can only break force with force.】

【"Pikachu, Iron Tail."】

Jasmine: "Ash's Pikachu knows Iron Tail? Then it's easy to handle."

Rhydon is not only a Ground-type Pokémon but also has a Rock attribute, which means that Steel-type skills can cause double damage to Rhydon.

Flint: "Pikachu is not a power-type Pokémon, what's the use of learning Iron Tail?"

Gardenia: "Other people's Pikachu is definitely not a power-type Pokémon, but Ash's Pikachu is different. Have you forgotten Golem's outcome?"

Flint: "Right! Almost forgot."

Giovanni: "Just knowing Steel-type skills and wanting to defeat my Rhydon? It's not that easy."

Bertha: "The one at a disadvantage now is actually Ash. Don't forget, Rhydon is immune to all Electric-type skills."

Don't dream that the thing of Thunderbolt killing Geodude in seconds will happen to Rhydon. That's simply impossible. Rhydon is not only a Ground-type Pokémon, but the drill horn on its head also has the effect of a Lightning Rod. Electric-type skills cannot cause any damage to it at all.

Guzma: "If Dark Ash can win Giovanni's Rhydon with Pikachu, I'll call him Dad!"

Plumeria: "Boss, are you betting that big?"

Guzma: "This is the courage of our Team Skull."

Grunt: "Long live Boss Guzma!!!"

【Pikachu is like a butterfly dancing in the flowers. All the rocks in the sky were cut into pieces by it. Combining strength and speed, in just one round, Pikachu showed its strength to the fullest.】

【Defending against Rhydon's attack, it's Pikachu's turn to counterattack.】

【Quick Attack to close the distance, followed by Iron Tail to give a fatal blow. The speed was so fast that the opponent Rhydon didn't react.】

【"Slap."】

【The crisp sound of a slap resounded in the battlefield, and Iron Tail hit Rhydon's left face heavily.】

【"Rhydon, Mega Punch." A cold voice spat out from Giovanni's mouth. Giovanni didn't even look at Rhydon; he seemed to have determined that Pikachu's Iron Tail couldn't penetrate Rhydon's defense.】

【Facts proved that Giovanni's judgment was correct. Although Pikachu's Iron Tail hit, the damage caused to Rhydon was actually quite limited. Under the protection of the armor, Rhydon's defense reached a terrifying level.】

【"Pikachu, dodge quickly."】

【The only good news for Ash is that he didn't use all his strength when attacking, but left two or three points of spare strength. Otherwise, Pikachu could only watch helplessly as Rhydon's iron fist hit it.】

【Dangerously dodging Rhydon's attack, Pikachu, worried about Rhydon's second round of offensive, quickly distanced itself from it.】

【"Good reaction speed, but unfortunately it's useless." Giovanni smiled confidently, "As long as you can't break Rhydon's iron armor, then all attacks are in vain. Young man, what are you going to do now?"】

34: Have you ever seen a Holy Sword Pikachu? (Ask for flowers)

Will: "See that, I said it early, Pikachu has an upper limit, even Ash's Pikachu can't break through this upper limit!!!"

Karen: "Will, please, don't talk tough, you'll be slapped in the face again."

Will: "How will my face be slapped this time? Pikachu can't even break Rhydon's defense, it's doomed to lose!"

Lt. Surge: "So that's why, you still have to let Pikachu evolve into Raichu. Evolution is the most precious gift given to Pokémon by the gods, so embrace evolution with a smile! Hey, Ash, if you change your mind, it's still not too late, I have plenty of Thunder Stones here."

Will: "What if it evolves into Raichu? Change to other Pokémon early, change Pikachu to Ampharos, Electabuzz, etc. Dark Ash's talent is still quite good, giving him a more powerful Pokémon can still prove himself."

Misty: "You guy is really annoying!"

Ash: "Hmph, I won't give up on Pikachu, the other me must be the same, we will become Pokémon Masters together with Pikachu!"

Chairman Goodshow: "Good, ambitious, this is a good man from our Kanto."

Bruno: "Because you dislike Pokémon for not being powerful enough, you choose to abandon them. This is something only Team Rocket would do. Will, tell me, are you an undercover agent sent by Team Rocket to the League!"

Lorelei: "It's not impossible, I suggest opening a political review mode for Will."

Karen: "Then it's over, Will's political review definitely won't pass."

【"It's really a tricky enemy." Ash and Pikachu met such a tough enemy for the first time. In the past, no one could withstand Iron Tail.】

【"Given up?" Giovanni's mouth raised slightly, "Giving up is also a good decision, my Rhydon is not something a rookie can deal with."】

【"That's not necessarily true."】

【Other people's Pikachu might really have no way to deal with Giovanni's Rhydon. After all, after Electric-type skills are restricted, Iron Tail is the strongest skill mastered by most Pikachu.】

【However, his Pikachu is different.】

【His Pikachu also masters a big killer.】

Steven: "Big killer? What big killer? What big killer can Pikachu have?"

Bruno: "Could it be Brick Break? But Brick Break is useless!"

Pikachu using Brick Break with those two small palms is not as powerful as Iron Tail.

Will: "Still a big killer, what time is it, still haven't recognized the reality. My opinion is, surrender directly, maybe Giovanni can see that he is sensible enough to give him a badge."

Flint: "Believe in Ash, get eternal life, wait to be slapped in the face, Will."

【"Pikachu!"】

【"Mew!" (Let him see the success of the special training I helped you with!)】

【Pikachu in the field slowly closed its eyes and fell into memories.】

【That was a giant beast with blue mane all over its body, and what was hidden in its calm eyes was endless murderous intent.】

【After entering the form of the King of Swords, its behavior became noble and beautiful, with a sword in its mouth, and the murderous intent was awe-inspiring.】

【The memory flashed by, and Pikachu opened its eyes.】

【The momentum changed greatly, and at this moment Pikachu entered a brand new realm.】

Norman: "What kind of Pokémon is that? A dog with a sword in its mouth. A dog traitor?"

Brawly: "It doesn't sound like a serious Pokémon. Pikachu training with such a Pokémon, I guess it also learned some shady tricks."

Wallace: "Although the behavior of holding a sword in its mouth makes people want to complain, I have to say that this guy's aura is really strong. If you take it to participate in the strong group competition of the Pokémon Contest, you will definitely be able to win the ribbon easily."

Gary: "Grandpa, do you know that Pokémon?"

Professor Oak: "That Pokémon is very likely the hero of the Galar region—Zacian."

Leon: "Shuttling through the battlefield like the wind to crusade against enemies, the slashes used are too fast to be captured by the naked eye. After being hit by its sword, you fall down before you feel pain. Galar's ancient books record Zacian like this."

Steven: "In that case, Zacian is a Pokémon from the Galar region, how could it appear in Kanto and become Pikachu's mentor?"

Diantha: "Stupid, didn't you hear Mew say that it was the one who helped Pikachu with special training? This Zacian must be Mew transformed."

Cynthia: "Even legendary Pokémon can change freely, Mew is really a magical Pokémon."

Caitlin: "So it's abbreviated as Pokémon?"

At this moment, Pikachu in the live broadcast room started to move.

I saw in the video screen, on Pikachu's golden tail, brown Fighting-type energy was gathering rapidly. In less than half a second, Pikachu's tail became as sharp as a sharp sword.

Pikachu waved its tail a few times quickly, making a clanging sound.
