~4 min read 621 words

Just as everyone was immersed in the joy of victory, a sudden massive wave surged up on the sea surface. A huge figure slowly rose from the bottom of the sea, its body like a small mountain, emanating a powerful aura.

"What is that?" Luffy pointed at the figure in surprise, the smile on his face vanishing instantly.

Everyone looked in the direction Luffy was pointing, and saw a gigantic mysterious creature appear before them. It had enormous scales, each one as big as a pot lid, glinting with a cold light. Its eyes were like lanterns, glowing red, brimming with intimidation.

"It's the Treasure Guardian." Li An's face turned pale, his voice filled with terror. He knew that this Treasure Guardian's strength far surpassed any enemy they had encountered before~.

The Treasure Guardian slowly opened its mouth and let out a deafening roar. This roar spread outward like a sea wave, shaking the surrounding ships until they rocked and swayed.

"Get ready to fight!" Luffy shouted, once again clenching his fists tight. His eyes were filled with determination and fighting spirit; no matter how powerful the enemy, he would never-retreat.

Li An gripped the ship's rail tightly, his knuckles white from the strain, as the gale howled past his ears with a piercing shriek, as if countless evil ghosts were wailing. His hair was whipped wildly by the wind, blocking his vision, but he had no time to care; his eyes were fixed dead ahead on the mountain-high waves. Every wave was like a giant peak about to collapse, surging violently toward their tiny ship. The ship rocked violently under the impact of the waves, the planks letting out painful "creak, creak" groans, as if it would be torn to shreds by the raging sea the next second.

"Li An…" Guo Yao's terrified voice trembled in the gale, her hands clutching Li An's arm tightly, her whole body almost pressed against his. Her little face had lost all color, her eyes full of fear and helplessness; seawater splashed onto her face, making it impossible to tell whether it was seawater or tears.

Li An turned his head, looked at Guo Yao in his arms, and a pang of heartache welled up inside him. He freed one hand and gently stroked Guo Yao's hair, trying to give her some comfort: "Don't be afraid, Yaoyao, I'm here." Though his voice was firm, amid the roar of the gale and the towering waves, it sounded so faint.

Just then, Nami on the crow's nest suddenly let out a cry: "Not good! Ships approaching!" Her voice carried a hint of panic, cutting jarringly through the chaos.

Li An and Guo Yao looked up at the same time and saw several tattered pirate ships flickering in and out of view within the storm, rapidly closing in on them. The sails of those pirate ships snapped and fluttered in the gale, like a pack of brandishing, claw-waving demons.

"It's the pirate crews we defeated before! They've actually joined forces!" Luffy shouted excitedly, not a trace of fear on his face, instead filled with a thirst for battle. His eyes sparkled with excitement, the corners of his mouth turned up in his signature grin, his hands clenched into fists so tight the joints went slightly white.

"Hmph, these guys really won't give up." Zoro snorted coldly, slowly drawing the three swords from his waist, the blades glinting with cold light. His gaze was as sharp as an eagle's, fixed on the approaching pirate ships, his feet planted firmly on the deck; the gale could not affect his stance in the slightest, as if he were an immovable mountain peak in this storm six..
