Chapter 426: This Mission Is Too Dangerous

"Guo Yao, I'm going to gather everyone. This matter is no small thing." Li An stopped his steps, turned his head to look at Guo Yao beside him, whose face was equally full of worry, reached out and gently held her hand, trying to give her some comfort.

Guo Yao's eyes were full of concern and worry. She gripped Li An's hand tightly, her voice carrying a slight tremor: "You must be careful. I'll go with you."

Li An gently shook his head, tenderly stroking Guo Yao's cheek: "No, this mission is too dangerous. I can't let you take the risk. Wait for me here, I'll come back as soon as I can."

After saying that, Li An lightly kissed Guo Yao's forehead, then turned and walked out of the room with resolute determination.

Li An first found Kurosaki Ichigo. At this time, Ichigo was doing his daily training at home, sweat soaking through his clothes, yet his gaze remained firm and burning.

"Ichigo!" Li An strode into the yard and shouted loudly.

Kurosaki Ichigo stopped his movements, looked up at Li An, a flash of doubt crossing his eyes: "Li An? What brings you here? Judging by your look, has something happened?"

Li An's look was grave. He strode up to Ichigo and told him in detail about the conspiracy of the mysterious power attempting to control Soul Society.

After hearing it all, Ichigo's face instantly grew serious. He clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles turning white from the force: "To think there's such a thing! We absolutely cannot let them succeed. I'll go with you!"

Afterwards, Li An and Ichigo hurried off without pause to find Chad (Sado Yasutora) and Inoue Orihime. After they explained the purpose of their visit, Chad suddenly stood up, his face full of anger and resolve: "These guys are too despicable! We absolutely cannot sit by and do nothing. Count me in!"

Although a flash of fear crossed Inoue Orihime's eyes, she still nodded firmly: "I'll also do everything I can to help. We can't let Soul Society fall into danger."

Immediately after, they found Kuchiki Rukia. After Rukia heard everything, her brows drew tightly together, and her hand unconsciously gripped the Zanpakuto at her waist: "This mysterious power is actually so rampant. As a Shinigami, I absolutely will not allow them to destroy Soul Society's peace."

Everyone gathered at a hidden open space, the atmosphere grave and oppressive. Every person's face was written full of seriousness, and the surrounding air seemed to have been frozen solid by this tense atmosphere.

Begging for flowers

Li An stood before everyone, his gaze sweeping firmly over each person: "Thank you all for being willing to trust me and face this crisis together. We're pressed for time and must work out a battle plan as soon as possible."

Everyone nodded in agreement one after another, then sat around together and began discussing the battle plan. After a bout of intense discussion, they finally worked out what seemed to be a thorough plan.

"According to the plan, we split into three groups. Ichigo, Rukia, you two are one group, responsible for drawing the enemy's attention head-on; Chad, Orihime, you two are one group, flanking and encircling from the side; Guo Yao and I are one group, looking for a chance to infiltrate the enemy's interior and destroy their core power." Li An assigned the tasks methodically, confidence and calmness showing in his eyes.

"Good, that's how we'll do it!" everyone responded in unison, a determined gleam shining in each person's eyes.

However, when they carried out the plan, they ran into an unexpected obstacle. The mysterious power seemed to have long since detected their movements and made full preparations in advance.
