Chapter 467: A Powerful and Vicious Yokai
Shou Wu slightly raised his head, his voice seeming to drift up from the ninth hell: "The divine artifact has caught the eye of Tsuchigumo. He's already searching for its whereabouts. You must be careful—he is a powerful and vicious yokai…"
The moonlight flowed like water, spilling over an ancient and mysterious forest. The trees towered into the clouds, their branches and leaves weaving together, almost completely blocking out the sky, so that the interior of the forest was steeped in a stifling, hushed atmosphere. The occasional hoot of a night owl only deepened the gloom. Li An picked his way cautiously through the forest, a glint of excitement and anticipation in his eyes, because he faintly sensed that the divine artifact capable of saving Guo Yao was somewhere nearby.
"Yaoyao, hold on a little longer. I'll definitely find the divine artifact and save you." Li An murmured silently in his heart. Thinking of Guo Yao, still unconscious, a flash of resolve crossed his eyes.
Suddenly, a cave radiating a faint glow appeared ahead. Li An's heartbeat quickened sharply. He strode forward, and as the distance to the cave grew shorter, that mysterious aura grew ever thicker. "Could the divine artifact be inside?" Li An muttered to himself, his hands trembling slightly, his heart brimming with agitation.
But just as he was about to step into the cave, a powerful, icy aura swept in from behind him. Li An's face changed drastically; he whirled around sharply, only to see a tall figure slowly emerge from the darkness. The newcomer's whole body radiated a black demonic power, churning and surging like a raging tide, the surrounding air seeming to freeze solid, threads of cold rushing toward him.
"Tsuchigumo!" Li An gritted out through clenched teeth, his eyes brimming with wariness and fury. He had not expected Tsuchigumo to appear at such a critical moment.
