Chapter 479: All Have Been Wounded

Just at that moment, Qing Qing Tianfang appeared. He held an enormous spiked club in his hand and roared loudly: "Li An, let me handle this!" So saying, he swung the spiked club and charged into the yokai horde. His attacks were powerful and heavy, each strike capable of repelling a whole group of yokai.

"Qing Qing Tianfang, thank you!" Li An said gratefully.

However, the enemy's attacks did not cease. Tsukumogami suddenly appeared, a powerful evil aura radiating from his body, a divine artifact held in his hand. "Hmph, none of you are leaving here alive!" he said viciously.

Li An was startled when he saw the divine artifact in Tsukumogami's hand. He knew this artifact's power was extremely formidable, and if Tsukumogami were to gain complete control of it, the consequences would be unthinkable. "I can't let him succeed!" Li An thought, deciding to take the risk.

He gathered all his spiritual energy and charged at Tsukumogami. Seeing this, Tsukumogami revealed a contemptuous smile: "With just you, you think you can stop me?" So saying, he swung the divine artifact and launched an attack at Li An.

Li An skillfully dodged Tsukumogami's attacks while searching for an opening. In the fierce exchange, Li An noticed that Tsukumogami had a brief pause whenever he used the divine artifact. Joy rose in his heart—he knew his chance had come.

"Now!" Li An shouted. He unleashed an immensely powerful yokai technique, a brilliant light shooting forth from his hand and striking Tsukumogami directly. Tsukumogami was caught off guard by the blow, and the divine artifact in his hand fell to the ground.

"No!" Tsukumogami let out a desperate roar. He tried to pick up the divine artifact again, but Li An has already seized the initiative, gripping the artifact in his hand.

"Now, it's your turn!" Li An said coldly. He channeled the artifact's power and launched an attack against the yokai still resisting. Before the artifact's tremendous might, those yokai fell one after another, no longer possessing the strength to fight back........

"We... won?" Guo Yao said in disbelief. Her face was full of exhaustion, yet her eyes revealed joy and excitement.

Li An smiled and nodded: "Mm, we won." His voice was filled with weariness, but it also carried a trace of pride.

Guo Yao ran over excitedly and threw her arms tightly around Li An. "That's wonderful, we're finally safe!" Tears glimmered in her eyes; at this moment, the fear and worry in her heart had transformed into joy and relief.

The surrounding yokai, seeing Li An's formidable strength, all revealed expressions of shock and awe. Some of the originally hostile yokai even began to waver in their stance, their hearts filling with wariness toward Li An.

Kubinashi appeared beside Li An at some unknown moment, his voice low and mysterious: "You did well, Li An. You have already firmly established yourself in Yokai World, and have gathered sufficient information on yokai power."

Li An looked at Kubinashi, his heart brimming with gratitude. "Thank you, Kubinashi. Without your help, we could not have gone so smoothly."
