Chapter 526: What's Going On

As the laughter rang out, the surrounding demons seemed to receive some kind of power's augmentation, becoming even more frenzied. They threw themselves at Li An and Allen without a care for their own lives, the force and speed of their attacks multiplied several times over.

"What's going on?" Allen shouted in surprise, a hint of panic flashing across his face.

"I don't know, but we have to be careful!" Li An gripped his weapon tightly, his heartbeat beginning to quicken, a vague sense of foreboding stirring in his heart.

Just then, they noticed a massive magic circle had appeared on the ground ahead. A strange, eerie light flickered within the magic circle, emanating a powerful dark force.

"This is…" Li An's expression turned very ugly, and he realized they might have fallen into a trap.

Before they could react, the magic circle suddenly activated, a powerful suction force surging from within the array, drawing the two of them in.

"Ah!" Li An and Allen cried out in unison, struggling desperately, but unable to break free from that powerful suction.

When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves trapped in a cramped space. The surrounding walls were covered in strange runes, emanating waves of cold.

"We're trapped!" Allen roared in fury, slamming against the wall with all his might, but to no effect.

Li An's expression became very grave, his eyes revealing an incomparable urgency and suppression. He thought of Guo Yao, still outside waiting for him to return and save her, his heart filled with guilt and self-reproach: "Yao Yao, what should I do…" His voice carried a hint of despair; at this moment, he felt a helplessness he had never known before.

Meanwhile, in some corner of the demon's lair, the Millennium Earl sat upon a massive chair, an evil smile hanging on his face: "Hmph, Li An, you've finally taken the bait." His voice was low and sinister, as if recounting some unspeakable conspiracy.

Road Kamel stood to one side, a strange, bewitching smile on her face, her eyes revealing a deep interest in Li An: "I really look forward to seeing what he does next." Her voice was soft, yet it made one feel a chill run down their spine.

Within the Black Order, Tyki Mikk hid among the crowd, the corners of his mouth curving up slightly, revealing a barely perceptible cold smile: "Everything is proceeding according to plan…" A sinister light flickered in his eyes, as if he were plotting an even greater conspiracy.

Darkness spread wantonly in all directions like thick ink, every inch of air seemingly filled with fear. Li An and Allen Walker were trapped within a grim trap, surrounded by uneven stone walls that gave off a putrid stench.

"Damn it, how is this trap so hard to get out of!" Allen Walker furiously slammed his fist into the stone wall, the fist wind kicking up a cloud of dust, yet the stone wall remained unmoved. His brows were tightly knit together, his forehead covered in beads of sweat, his silver hair soaked with sweat and clinging to his cheeks.

Li An, meanwhile, stood quietly to one side, his gaze deep and calm, as if he could see through everything even in the darkness. He took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. Though his heart pounded violently in his chest, he kept telling himself: "Panic won't solve anything, I have to think calmly."

From the surrounding darkness came the demons' eerie roars, their figures flickering in and out of sight, their red eyes glinting like ghostly fires as they gradually closed in on the two. The sound drew nearer and nearer, like sharp claws scraping against one's eardrums, making one's hair stand on end..
