Chapter 537: Don

~3 min read 560 words

Allen Walker walked over and patted Li An's shoulder. "I'll help you. Together, we'll uncover the truth."

Li An looked at Allen Walker with gratitude. He knew that now, he could rely only on himself and the friends beside him. He took a deep breath and silently resolved to find the true mastermind behind it all, silence those who doubted him, and continue fighting the Noah Clan to protect the peace of this world.

In the dim room, the atmosphere was suffocating. Li An was confined within this cramped space, his movements heavily restricted. He paced back and forth, brows furrowed, yet his eyes held firm resolve. Each step was steady and powerful, as if declaring to the adversity that he would never yield.

"An, don't rush too much. We'll find a way," Guo Yao whispered soothingly, her eyes filled with worry and concern. Her pale hand gently rested on Li An's arm, trying to offer him warmth and strength.

Li An stopped pacing and gripped Guo Yao's hand, forcing a faint smile. "I know, Yao. But the situation is urgent—I must act quickly." His voice was low and resolute; despite the dire circumstances, his eyes still glimmered with confidence.

Outside this seemingly calm room, danger was creeping closer. The Noah Clan's conspiracy was an invisible net, ensnaring the Black Order and Guo Yao. And Li An was the only one who might break that net.

He took a deep breath, sat on the edge of the bed, closed his eyes, and focused his mind. Through telepathy, he reached out to Allen Walker and Li Na. "Allen, Li Na—I need your help. Gather any clues about the Noah Clan's conspiracy. As fast as you can." His voice echoed in their minds, carrying undeniable authority.

Upon receiving the message, Allen Walker moved at once. His eyes burned with determination as he gripped his exorcist weapon—Divine Cursed Tool. "Don't worry, Li An. I'll find the clues," he murmured, then turned and rushed toward the Black Order's archives.

Li Na did not hesitate. Her eyes gleamed with resolve, her beautiful face set with unyielding determination. "I'll do everything I can," she whispered, then sprinted toward the places where the Noah Clan had previously appeared.

Li An waited anxiously in the room, each minute stretching endlessly. He rose to pace, then sat again in deep thought, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. Guo Yao watched him silently, her heart aching. She gently picked up a towel and wiped his sweat. "An, don't exhaust yourself. Rest for a while," she said softly.

Li An shook his head. "No, I can't rest. Yao, you know this concerns your safety—and the survival of the entire Black Order." His eyes showed urgency and fear as he tightly held Guo Yao's hand.

Finally, Allen Walker and Li Na returned with crucial clues. Their faces were weary, but their eyes sparkled with excitement. "Li An, we found it!" Allen exclaimed, handing Li An a stack of documents.

Li An took the documents and flipped through them rapidly. His eyes brightened, his lips curled into a faint, confident smile. "As I thought—they had a plot." He murmured, then passed the papers to Guo Yao. "Yao, look. The Noah Clan plans to use you as bait—to draw out me and the Black Order's core forces, then eliminate us all at once."
