Chapter 562: Today Is Your Time of Death

"You despicable bastard, today is your time of death!" InuYasha shouted, his voice filled with rage.

Naraku merely smiled coldly: "You think you can defeat me? How naive." His eyes betrayed a hint of contempt.

At that moment, Li An suddenly launched his attack. Using his golden finger, he swiftly analyzed Naraku's weakness and struck the fatal blow directly at it.

Naraku's face turned pale—he never expected Li An could find his weakness so fast. He barely dodged, but still took the blow on his arm.

"Damn it!" Naraku roared, his eyes flashing with ferocity. He immediately counterattacked, waves of black miasma surging toward Li An and the others.

Seeing this, InuYasha swung Tessaiga, slicing through the miasma one by one. "Li An, I've got your back!" he shouted, charging toward Naraku.

Li An and InuYasha fought together against Naraku. Though Naraku was powerful, he gradually began to lose ground under their combined assault.

"How is this possible... how could you be so strong..." Naraku was filled with shock and fury—he never imagined his carefully laid plot would fail again.

As Naraku prepared to flee, Li An seized his final chance. He gathered all his strength and unleashed one final strike at Naraku.

"Die!" Li An shouted.

Naraku couldn't dodge in time—he was struck, let out a scream, and was flung backward. In the end, he slinked away in defeat.

Seeing Naraku flee, everyone exhaled in relief. They knew that though they had repelled Naraku this time, the matter was far from over.

The villagers who had once believed the rumors now came before Li An and the others, apologizing. Their faces were heavy with guilt and gratitude.

"We're sorry—we wronged you."

"Yes, thanks to you, we weren't harmed by Naraku's scheme."

Li An looked at the villagers and nodded slightly: "It's fine. Just don't believe rumors so easily from now on."

After the Black Order's crisis of trust, Li An and Guo Yao temporarily escaped their predicament with the help of Allen Walker and the Dengrende Gang, but their adventures never ceased—until an accidental temporal fluctuation swept them into the Warring States era. There, they met InuYasha, Kagome, and others, and learned of Naraku's many atrocities. Now, Naraku had seized Guo Yao in a moment of distraction, and a thrilling rescue mission had begun.

"Damn it! That despicable Naraku kidnapped Guo Yao while we weren't looking!" Li An slammed a fist into the tree beside him—the trunk split open with a crack, wood chips flying. His eyes were bloodshot, his heart in turmoil, his mind flooded with the terrified image of Guo Yao being taken.

Kagome stepped forward and gently patted Li An's shoulder. "Li An, don't panic—we'll get Guo Yao back." Her eyes held firm resolve and deep concern, though she too was terrified, she forced herself to remain calm.

InuYasha crossed his arms, brow furrowed, muttering: "Hmph, that damn demon dared snatch someone right under our noses—we won't let him get away with it."
